Journey
I woke up next to Yelena, I was able to sleep without any nightmare, which was rare.
- Did you sleep okay? You woke up really shaken at midnight, so I decided to sleep with you - Yelena told me half asleep
- Yes, thanks - I thank her, she just smiled at me. I don't know how she can get me to feel safe
- Okay, let's go, we got to get up - she told me giving me a kiss on my forehead. I love how she shows me her emotions, her vulnerable side. This is really difficult for us, is difficult even for me with her.
- Okay, I'm going to take my things - I said giving her a hug, which she respond right away a little surprised, this isn't something I usually do.
When we had everything ready we went to take the train, with it we would go to Germany and then we would get a train to New York.
We entered the train, we left the two suitcases and we laid down in the small bed that was there
- Do you want to keep sleeping? It's going to be a long journey - Yelena asked me

And there I stayed watching the ceiling thinking. I didn't know what to do, so I decided to take the painting kit, Natasha gave it to me before leaving and I love it. I started drawing what I saw through the window.
I painted until I heard knocking on the cabin's door, I put my things away and I woke Yelena up
- Hey, Yelena, wake up, someone wants to get in - I told her and she woke up

- No, I'm not hungry, but, yes, buy something for later - she told me giving me money
- Хорошо, дай мне два бутерброда с сыром, пожалуйста - (Okay, give me two cheese sandwiches, please) I told the man and he gave them to me with two bottles of water - сколько денег? - (How much?)
- Два бутерброда - 179 рублей, бутылки - бесплатно - (The sandwiches: 179 rubles (2 euros/2,31 dollars), the water: free) he answered and I gave it to him, I entered the cabinet again and I found Yelena sat on the bed reading. I sat next to her and she put her arm around me and gave me a kiss on the temple, I laid next to her and kept drawing. It would be a long journey.
It took 24 hours and 43 minutes to arrive to Germany, I have been there before, unfortunately, it was for a mission.
We were going to stay in a hotel in the airport to get the airplane tomorrow that would get us to New York.
We took the cards that they gave us in the hotel reception and we went to our room. It wasn't too big but we didn't need it to be.
We laid down on the bed, after we put our pijamas on, which consisted of a sweatpants and some t-shirt, and we went to sleep. Let's hope the nightmares don't come.

I woke up suddenly, sweating and we rapid breathing and heart rate. Yelena also woke up when she heard me

That's something I really love about her, how she can calm me down just giving me a hug.
When I calmed myself completely, we laid down again, I knew I wasn't going to sleep again, which means Yelena isn't going to sleep either.
- We can keep reading or you can keep drawing, there isn't much time left for 7am, so we can do whatever you want - she said leaning her back in the bed's backrest
- Reading together sounds good - I said sitting newt to her leaning my head in her shoulder
- Good - she said taking the book out of her bag and she started reading. The book was "Чук и Гек". It's my favorite book, the only thing that I still have from my family, that wasn't taken by Madame B.
We read for a while, until we realized it was 7.30am, so we decided to go to eat breakfast. Our flight left at nine in the morning, so we would go have breakfast, go back to our room to take everything and go to the airport.
We ate breakfast fast in a nearby coffee shop and we went back to the hotel and we took our belongings.
It was 8.15am we went exited the hotel. We had a little bit less than 45 minutes to get to the plane and it was plenty of time.
After a little bit, we only had to show our passports. We got to the line, there want many people, it looked like there wasn't going to be many people in the plane we were taking. We waited until it was our moment, we showed our passports and he inspected them. Obviously, we weren't going to show our real identities, I was called Katya Ivanof and Yelena, Aliona Ivanof, we were supposed to be sisters that wanted to go for vacations to America.
The man stayed watching my passport for a long time, what made me scared, Did he recognized me? What if I get Yelena in trouble? Yelena saw my worry so she gave me a hand squeeze, I hated how she could read me so easily. After a few seconds the man spoked
- You remind me of my daughter, you know? - he said in German, giving, us our passports
- No, I didn't know that, but I'll take that as a compliment - I told him in German too, while Yelena took the passports
A few minutes later, we arrived to the plane without any interruption. The flight-attendant explained all the security protocol, and we finally started the trip to New York.
