You ask Steven about random things that pop up in your head, and he just entertains them no matter how dumb it is, and you create the dumb scenarios in your head that only you can come up with, and Steven’s stuck to make hypotheticals for you. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t do the same thing to you! Although Steven is more curious rather than joking/teasing questions that may seem dumb like with the questions that you give, are actual questions. He’ll ask the whole thing, the whole shabam, how did you start to like this? Why is it interesting to you? How did you come to discover it? All that jazz.

If you’re into video essays, honestly you would try to encourage Steven to do them. Since ancient Egyptian history has a lot of things that branch from other topics, it’d be a great way for Steven to find people that are just like him. A nerd. If he was interested in it, you’d be his number one supporter and first viewer. You’d let him become engrossed with video essays alongside you, and the two of you would just fall asleep listening to them.
“Look! My first viewer!” He shows you excitedly. “Great job!” You hold his hands in yours, hiding your phone from him.
If you’re the type to collect random items or trinkets, and you have like a whole place dedicated to it, he’ll be so impressed. He’d want to see what they all do, with your permission ofc. Since the trinkets and doodads you have are usually from antique shops or things you found lying around and about, they all have their own history and story to tell. To which Steven would love to listen.

If you liked to read he’d recommend books and the two of you would create your cute book corner. Though you’d want to not make stacks and stacks of books, you two almost got crushed by them cause Steven tripped over a book.

Marc is quite bossy and pushy, just like you. He’s all ‘do this’ ‘do that’ ‘DONT do that’ and you get it honestly. He’s like a stressed out mother, but he’s so calm but so brash, and you both encourage one another’s bad thoughts LMAO

Chaotic yet neutral duo the two of you honestly. He likes to work out, it helps him blow off steam. And regardless if you’re athletic or not, you’d be sweating, panting, heaving, dying just trying to follow along his routine. He laughs in your face when he sees you struggling, before actually helping you out, what an ass. But he always makes sure you’re doing alright, wouldn’t want to over exert yourself now. But you like to try and prove to him that you could do it without his help, before you stubbornly almost black out trying to bench he admits ‘defeat’.
“Told you I could do it.” he scoffs. “Yeah, sure you did.”
He’d force you two to jog in the morning to ‘get your steps in’, or whatever bull he says. It eventually becomes a routine for the both of you, but Marc had too much to drink that night, and got hungover. Needless to say he did not like it when you told him to get his steps in.
Marc didn’t have any kind of hobbies, being worked to the bone constantly, there was no time for those sorts of things. So you’d help Marc get to know himself, show him random hobbies people like getting into, before he settles on baking, or just cooking. It feels like having a personal chef in your own home, be it he just makes some simple pancakes, he makes it just the way you like it with syrup. He’s so wife.
The more he finds different kinds of hobbies to be interested in, the more he wants to explore different things. Check out what he’s been missing out with you by his side. He’d start making you hand crafted gifts rather than buying, you’d have date nights where you two just sat in silence with something playing in the background with the smell of food up in the air. Cozy blankets as you do whatever the two of you felt at that time. He loves being domesticated with you.
The two of you would rumble about what kind of shampoo smells the best and what was actually good for your hair health. Get into stupid arguments just because one of you looked or sounded a bit upset, but a few silent moments together and you’re back in his arms.

Jake is quiet and reserved. He’s pretty ruthless and keeps to himself. Which you relate to, but you have empathy of course you’re not that much of a monster. But you hate the fact that he smokes, and he tried quitting for your sake, but he just walks outside and smokes without even knowing. It took him a whole month before he actually stopped, cause you refused to give him any kisses and he did not like that.
He’d be so reckless despite being a cab driver, he’d be swerving and swearing as you clutch onto the seat belt for dear life. You didn’t even know you two were drifting onto an open field before you opened your eyes and saw the view.
Jake thinks it’s a good idea to teach you how to drive (more like be his getaway driver.) like he does, he has several tricks and moves he gets so excited to teach you, but you end up making the car tires screech and he almost pulls out a cigarette from his pocket. It feels like you got beaten up in the car, the bumps and sudden stops could give your neck a whiplash.
“Mi pobre niña.” “Yeah, I'm okay,-what??” You gasp at him loudly, seeing he was referring to his car rather than you. He even has a pout on his face.
Though you were unsuccessful, he’d take you out for a treat, a celebratory ice cream mayhaps? He didn’t really like driving because of the cab job he had to take up, but you and him just being on the road while you sing to your heart's content makes it enjoyable for him. He loved going on roadtrips with you, being a driver meant that he got to go to places he didn’t really think of going to in the first place, so you get to see new sights.
He’d definitely take you to those drive-in movies that make you watch inside a car while the movie is just being projected onto a big sheet of cloth. He likes just having quiet times with you, it’s relaxing and therapeutic for him. You could do nothing and say nothing and he’d be so enamored with you.
You two love spending time with each other in just silence or being in each other’s arms, you don’t have to do much to have fun with him, but if he does want to do something or vice versa, it’d be something ranging from tame to super dangerous and risky. It’s like that ‘girlhood is a spectrum’ type.
