the redhead groaned as she was awaken by loud screaming sirens and flashing lights.

she was confused about what was going on but she was greeted with the sight of her green-eyed girlfriend in handcuffs on the ground. she panicked.

“babe? whats going on?” wanda sobbed. "tell me, tell me why are they taking you away dammit” she screams.

"doon’t leave me why are you taking her” she screams.

and like that, they were gone.

she rushed down to the station, in her pjs (which composed of nat's baggy shirt and a pair of shorts), grabbed her car keys and ran.

she speeds there. once she gets there, shield is confused. no one had came to her house, no one took her. they were not real cops.

just then, it hits her. her love was not real, none of it was real. Nat was dead, on Vomir (where she went splat). "Are you okay, ma'am?" a shield worker asked the redhead.

Wanda was lost in her mind. She couldn't believe it. She had conjured up a false reality and her one true love was gone. Forever. Wanda was bound to be alone and live a life a misery. She had lost her husband, her kids, even her best friend turned lover.

Wanda runs away, out of the compound. She keeps running, trying to get away from her own thoughts.

"Natasha is dead. What you've been sleeping with, living with for the past 6 months was an illusion." Wanda thought. Her mind was racing. She fell to her knees in the forest and let out a loud, powerful scream. Her powers created a circle around her. The trees fell in, creating a barrier around her. She was trapped in this forest to rot and die all alone.

shield could not find her love. they couldn’t. her love had never truly existed. just a figure of her imagination. what a cruel, sick joke.
