Shinso saw the whole thing, the boy he admires from the shadows, as he practices with his electricity. He saw how brave he was when he rescued a small pup and got caught instead. He watched as he sunk to the bottom of the trench, looking frantically around. Shinso not daring to leave the shadows so he didn't scare the blond more.
He knew what the merpeople above the trench thought of him and his family. He wasn't stupid. He knew just because the blond looked sweet didn't mean that Shinso wouldn't scare the shit out of him. His dads always told him to be careful of the people above the trench. They feared what they didn't understand. And that made them dangerous.
But he couldn't watch anymore. The blond was injuring himself and failing to get untangled from the net. He sensed predators near, so he needed him to get untangled now unless they wanted to be someone's dinner. The predators down in the trench were no joke. After all, it's why the sirens have gotten so strong; along with that strength comes fear.
He swam close to the shaking blond watching his eyes close. So he took his sharp claw and ripped the net to shreds. He then scooped the blond up and carried him as he swam to his family's cave.
Once he entered, he saw the madness, as is usual in this house. He saw Hizashi being chased by Shouta. While Eri just giggled.
"Umm, guys, I need your help," Shinso announcing his presence to his crazy family.
All three heads whipped in his direction, hearing the words help. Assuming he got into another fight with a giant squid. But to their surprise, they saw a small boy in his arms.
Shinso dwarfed the boy. Shinso being a bigger-than-average Siren at 11 feet (335.28 cm) long. And Denki being a smaller-than-average mer at 7 feet (213.36 cm) long.
All three swam over to him to assess the situation. Aizawa sighed and told him to lay him down in Shinso's room so that when he woke up, they could escort him out of the trench and back to safety.
Shinso didn't really want the blond to leave, but he knew he had to. The blond was so scared of being down here he knew he would never stay here, so Shinso would go back to what he always did when it came to the blond. He would watch over him as he practiced his lightning. Shinso has stopped countless predators from the trench from attacking Denki over the years so he would just go admire the blond from afar.
Because he knew deep down that a beauty like Denki would never fall for an ugly siren like Shinso
