Friends? Don't know 'em.
"Whats your secret? Y'know to be so confident...and...happy." Gwen asked you.
"My secret? Thats pretty easy. Just to not care." You smile.
"About what people think?"
"About anything, Gwendy." You smile brightly before it falters slightly, "Why?"
"Well, compared to the other Spider-People, you're different. You're happier and confident." She sighs.
"Sometimes you just gotta fuck off. Just...let go. It's not easy but it's fun." You smile.
"Thats rich comin from you, innit?" Hobie says sarcastically as he walks into the room.
"Seems like the only thing you're consistent about is getting to find ways I'm different from you." You say and roll your eyes.
"(Y/N)." Miguel storms into the room angrily, "What. Did. You. Do."
"Whats did I do?" You ask, you were seriously confused from what Miguel was saying.
"You-"
"Messed with the watches. There filled to the brim with neon green glitter..." Jessica sighs.
"Neon green...OH! SHIT! Sorry, sorry, sorry! I'll fix it up, boss! Nice to see you, Jess!" You swing away hastily to fix up the watches. Thoughts clouding your
'You know you didn't do anything with the watches. You're always fixing everything. Why are you so unsatisfied? You're happy-go-lucky, ball of sunshine Spider Woman.' You think as you swing past the lab.
"Hey, Margo!" You yell to the virtual Spider-Girl as she fiddles around with the watches.
"Someone fiddled with the watches and now there filled up to the brim with neon green glitter, (Y/N). Do you think you could fix them up with me and Lyla?" Margo asked.
"Already on it." You smile and get to work.

You stretch out your back as you exit the lab slowly. Sighing, you look at the modern landscape. It was pretty late as there were only a few dozen Spider-People walking around.
"Oy, got a minute?" A voice you (sadly) recognized as Hobies called out to you.
"Yeah?" You turn around and smiles slightly.
"Just wondered somethin. Talk for a minute?" He asks.
"Sure. That would probably help." You chuckle slightly to yourself as you listen to whatever Hobie had to say.
"You didn't do anythin to the watches did ya." Hobie says nonchalantly.
"No. Why?" You ask. No one really bothered to notice anyways.
"Then why'd you say you did it then." He asks, although it seems like he already knows.
"Because I could." You smile and walk off.
"Thats your answer for everything, innit." Hobie sighs and walks off. He really tried to be friends with you but you made it difficult. He got an off feeling about you like you were hiding something. Plus, you made it easy to argue.
It would go something like this:
"You really aren't making this any easier, (Y/N)."
"Yeah, and you are?"
"C"mon, mate. You put this here on purpose. Its hard for you to clean up for yourself, innit." He snorts.
"Just makin sure you don't hurt yourself!"
Or, you would try to compromise and he just decided to argue:
"What is that? Poison?" Hobie laughs as you tried to share food with him as he (stupidly) forgot his lunch.
"No. Its my lunch and since I was deciding to kindly share with you, you don't have to have any." You said as he chuckled slightly, "I made you laugh."
"I'm not laughing with you, dumbest. I'm laughing at you." He says sarcastically.
"Oh! Thats even better." You say sarcastically as you roll your eyes.
Those were probably the few attempts at failed freidnship.
