Chapter 4
Tony Stark, Mikaela, Shin, Grog, Vikram, and Diana sat on the couch as Friday played the footage recorded of the fall of Wakanda.
A few minutes before the fall of Wakanda:
Rogers was sitting with Barton, Maximoff, Romanoff, Wilson, and Lang. They were ranting. They refused to watch the news. Romanoff had told them that the Accords had made moves, getting a new team under Tony, and the world loved them.
“I still can't believe Stark made a new team instead of getting us, his family, pardoned,” Rogers yelled.
“I'm not that monster's family, Steve,” Wanda stomped her ground as Barton and Rogers hugged her, comforting her, making Romanoff scoff.
“This is serious, Steve. It isn't the time for you to baby Wanda. The world loves them. They see them as more responsible, making Tony more responsible, and us as terrorists. We have a kill-on-sight order in all of Europe, half of Africa and Asia. America and the rest of the world have agreed to capture and extradite us. We won't even get a trial in one country, but the U.N. will have a giant jury, representatives from each country, who will judge us,” Romanoff said.
“How did Tony let it get this bad? Is he trying to make us angry?” Rogers yelled.
“Stark doesn't care about us, like he didn't care about my parents,” Maximoff cried, pretending to be a victim.
“No, he can't. He cares about us. We are family,” Rogers said in denial, making Romanoff clench her hands in anger at Steve's stubbornness. It seems like she would have to be the saw that cuts the tree down.
“Wanda’s right, Steve. Stark doesn't care about us anymore. He got a new team,” Romanoff said.
Steve was about to say something when an earthquake was felt, followed by a boom. The rogues rushed to the window and saw explosions everywhere. The mine, the tribe warriors' grounds, food and water storages.
“Quick, let's go and help,” Steve said, as the team agreed. They ran out of the room.
"Quick, Avengers assemble! Someone has attacked Wakanda,” Rogers yells in front of the Wakandans, trying to act like a hero as he runs to the location of the explosion, the Panther tribe area.
"Yes, and if we find them, T'Challa will be indebted to us and help us, even if Stark refuses to fund us when we are pardoned," Romanoff replies in an egotistical tone.
"Yes, the Stark will pay for taking away Vision and kicking me out of my home." Maximoff says.
"It will be funny; after this, we can get rid of Stark without his funding. He's useless to us, like he took my family away from me. We will take away his Avenger's status," Barton says (not knowing he was the useless Avenger who added no value to the team other than being a disposable body nobody cared about, like Romanoff).
"Guys, forget about the liar. Let's focus on this," Wilson joins in.
"Captain, what are your orders?" Lang says.
“Nat, Clint, evacuate the civilians. Wanda, Scott, Sam, with me, let's go and find who did this,” Rogers said.
A few hours of Romanoff and Barton evacuating Wakandan civilians was shown, and Rogers, Maximoff, Lang, and Wilson searching around Wakanda for Diana was shown. The new Avengers watched, finding it amusing. Rogers' half were searching for the ghost.
“It's no use, we can't find him,” Rogers said, thinking it was a man who could only do this kind of damage.
“Yeah, let's go and reconvene with the others,” Wilson said, as they made their way to Nat. When they saw M’Baku come running in and telling the survivors Princess Shuri and the scientist were attacked.
“This attack was just to destroy vibranium, it was to cripple Wakanda,” Romanoff stated.
“Are you telling me, Nat, that someone has a large grudge that they sneaked into the most advanced country to destroy it? Who would have such a grudge?” Lang said, as the rogue Avengers who always assumed the bad of Stark had a eureka moment.
“Stark,” Maximoff, Rogers, Romanoff, Barton, Lang said.
“Quick, we need to get to Bucky. If this was Stark, Bucky is dead,” yelled Steve.
“He's right, this could be a distraction for the real prize,” Romanoff said.
They ran there, and what they saw made Steve turn into a wild animal as he started flinging anything he could see around like a raging gorilla or Donkey Kong throwing barrels.
“Bucky!!!! NOOO!!!” Steve yelled, dropping to his knees in despair.
“I just got him back!” Steve yelled while crying, as he hugged Bucky’s body.
He stayed like that for hours, hugging the Winter Soldier's dead body.
“Stark's gone too far, killing Barnes for Hydra's actions. It's like he doesn't care about mind-controlled victims,” Barton said.
“He started a war. He messed with Steve, he messed with all of us,” Wilson said, as Wanda had a gleam in her eyes.
“We are killing Stark. Count me in,” Wanda said in her insane tone.
“We are gonna kill him and destroy the Accords. Stark attacked Wakanda and killed Bucky to avenge his mother, then I will do the same thing,” Rogers said, rising up.
“Avengers, we are gonna kill Stark ourselves and his new team. No doubt they helped,” Steve said as the footage turned off.
“Well, guys, Captain Righteous decided we're done. What's our response?” Tony said.
“Let them come,” the team said, mocking T’Challa, king of the dead country of Wakanda.
“Boss, our satellite has shown Rogers and his team, as well as the Avengers, moving towards S.H.I.E.L.D. They used a Russian Quinjet, the old S.H.I.E.L.D. model, the ones before we upgraded them. Shall I shoot them down?” Friday asked.
“No, Friday, it's my destiny to kill Maximoff,” Mikaela said.
“Okay, Mama,” Friday said, making Mikaela coo.
“Yeah, she's right. Let them reunite with Fury, and Fury get his little super-secret boy band back. Even with them, Fury won't be able to do anything to regain the power S.H.I.E.L.D. once had because they are nothing compared to us. We are the new Avengers. Each of us replaces Cap's team and brings more to the table.
They have a Black Widow, we have Diana, the Ghost, who is the better spy. After all, she went into the so-called most advanced nation and destroyed it from the inside.
They have a Hawkeye, an average archer. We have God's Arrow, aka Vikram, who can't miss and can make divine arrows that shoot elements, and has divine-level strength.
They have an ex-king, T'Challa, of a dead advanced nation, otherwise known as the Black Panther. We have the heir to the strongest
all-enhanced ninja nation, Shin Kemmochi, otherwise known as the Sword Saint.
They have a super soldier, Rogers. We have Grog, a weather lord whose powers surpass Thor.
They have the one destined to destroy all, the Scarlet Witch, an insane witch, Wanda Maximoff. Well, we have my lovely anti-witch, Mikaela who’s destiny is to destroy the scarlet witch.
And finally, they have people who stole or use other tech. Well, I make better tech and use it. I am Iron Man,” Tony said as the team all agreed.
“What my Tony means is, let them come. We crush them all. Hydra couldn't last against even one of our members, Diana Carter. She did what teams spent their entire lives doing in a few months. Obviously, they are a failure,” Mikaela said.
“Boss, I got an announcement. President Ellis just pissed off the world. He announced the pardon of Captain Steve Rogers and his team. It seems Fury was working on their pardons,” Friday said.
“Well, it's a good thing we weren't spying on Fury. Knowing would have prevented the surprise. After all, we are so much more superior to them that they are just prey … food we are playing with,” Diana said.
“Yeah, let them be pardoned. Ellis has no control over Yamato and the rest of the world, so he can't pardon them for the world outside the States. Let's see how this plays out. This is starting to become fun. Friday, make sure to put up defenses in the USA branch of Stark Industries. Mikaela, could you help create magic defenses?” Tony said.
“Sure, Tony,” Mikaela said.
“Let's see, Rogers, if you can make this game interesting,” Tony said.
