Rocket let out a gasp as he started seizing again, he was close to death - and had minutes. Peter ripped the mask off his muzzle and tried CPR, but to no avail. Among the chaos Star tried her best to reach Rocket, pushing her teammates out the way as she managed to leap on the table Rocket was on.
Peter and Nebula yelled back at forth as Star pressed her hands against Rocket's chest - firm thrusting to keep his heart beating.
He weakly opened his eyes for a moment- his chest hurt. Star stared down at him- her expression being one mixed with horror, grief and pain. Yet in that brief second .. She saw he was ready to say goodbye, and to finally join their friends.
"- LIVE! You MUST live!" She screamed at Rocket as his eyes closed. Screams of sorrow came from Peter and Star as Rocket flatlined.
Lylla walked with Rocket as they went to accompany their friends, Rocket was finally at peace before the Otter asked him a question.
"How is Star ..? Is she alright?"
Rocket turned to his long, lost friend. Knowing she would be proud of how far they came. "Yeah, she's .. breathtaking."
