"Sorry— can't help it." Miles apologize before sitting back down on the couch.
Milo is annoyed by his twin or— doppleganger constant apologies towards him and his family, he has already said it multiple times that it was fine.
"It's just— your apá would've still been here if it wasn't for me! I'm at fault here and.. I wish our lives switched so that you had your apá!"
"Por favor— It's not your fault! It's the universe' doing and we have to deal with it." Milo snapped, seeing that his counterpart shrink into the couch made him feel guilty.
"Sorry." Miles muttered before looking down to his hands, tears threatening to fall any second.
"Look. I don't hate you maybe I did at first but now I see you as my hermano. We both lost someone important to our lives so we are even."
Milo sat next to Miles, a few inches away from him unaware of the tears dropping onto his counterpart's lap.
One drop.
Two drop.
Three drop.
"Are you seriously crying?"
"What do you fucking expect? Hermano, It's my fault! Ay even Miguel said that I am a mistake! He told me that I wasn't even meant to be—"
Miles was cut off before Milo threw a pillow at him resulting in a glare to him.
"Please. Don't listen to that cabrón, you are no mistake and you are meant to be a Spiderboy."
"It's Spiderman."
"I don't give a fuck."
Miles scoffed before laughing joined by Milo who just laughed silently, the two playfully had a pillow fight.
At least Miles has someone to talk to other than his parents.
