3 - "Catch Me In Your Spiderweb"
Spider-Man gets a lot of appreciation(and hate), but what about Peter Parker? He should be loved and appreciated more.
How is Peter not one of the most popular kids in his school? And not like popular kids in movies but how a popular kid would be in real life. I feel like no one, especially his schoolmates, sees just how much of a catch Peter Parker is, he is smart, kind, strong, good-looking, and funny!!
*This is based on how I see Peter Parker as a whole, across multiple Peter Parkers. These are the traits you almost always see in him.
I also don't understand how no one in Peter's school knows that he is at least a bit strong.
All his classmates see that Peter is more than the weird nerd kid.
Ok... What I'm thinking is that they have always thought he was better looking than most, smart, a nerd, kind, and sometimes funny, but those were the kids that paid attention to him. Everyone else doesn't have an opinion of him, excluding, of course, people like Flash who bully/are rude to him and just see him as a weird nerd.
For this Peter got bitten by the spider during the early summer, and then all the things happened, his uncle dying and becoming Spider-Man. So by the time it was time for school, he was a freshly traumatized baby.
He now has more secret admirers! Yay!
*I have no idea where to go with this one anymore...
IDK just people appreciating Peter Parker or something?
Whatever

HA HA (imagine this in a posh British voice)
Not even a week later I am back to add more!
The lovely Pelapor022 left a comment and I was like, "Oh! Yes, the angst >:)"
They mentioned the comics, but I haven't read the comics, so I'm going to leave the specifics up to you. You don't need to have read the comics to add angst to a story.
One thing that needs to be kept in mind for when other people are going to be finding out about Peter's suffering is to be careful of it coming off as cringy.
I feel like it would be super easy for something like this to come off as cringy, so I'll try to give some ideas that shouldn't come off as so; at least in my opinion, they shouldn't.
Someone, like Flash, is acting annoying to Peter, and he is in a not "nice" mood this year (because of all the things that happened in the summer) Flash says something wrong like "Go cry to your uncle or something."
I got a few different reaction ideas of how Peter would react to this.
-he punches and storms out of the classroom
-he slaps and storms out of the classroom
-he shoves him away and storms out of the classroom (my personal favorite)
You can add him saying something that would make great a "trauma reveal!" Also maybe add in "shut up" or Idk.
A different way for the trauma to be revealed is...
I feel like the staff at Peter's school are gossipers so they most definitely talked about how Peter's uncle died and some kids overhead.
Peter is still a new Spider-Man, so he makes a lot of mistakes and gets hurt = he gets scars, so I can see him in the changing room for physical education(PE). They would see his scars and his muscles.
*All of these ideas can be edited to make it fit in with something else from the comics. Just make it make sense, not cringy. If I knew what happened in the comics, I might have a different picture of how his classmates would find out.
