not a perfect hero (but definitely a great father)
For this idea, basically Steve Rogers adopts Brandon Breyer, and has to figure out how to raise a super-powered, homicidal tween alien by himself, while also simultaneously hiding his existence from both SHIELD & the Avengers. I also imagined this as including Stucky eventually, but you can go with/not go with that depending on how you feel.
I also figured that Loki, being a alien himself with magic powers, would be best fit to serve as Brandon's uncle-figure, so in my mind here, he was being controlled by the Mind Stone & Thanos here, and Steve would break him out of prison upon learning this and, as thanks, Loki would stick around to help him take care of Brandon and yada yada yah happily ever after
I also entertained the possibility of eventual side Frostiron here if Loki got pardoned of his crimes, and the Avengers realized he wasn't guilty, and Tony let him stay in the Tower afterwards - but yeah, that's a bit off topic, though, so you definitely don't have to do that if you don't want to.
