Goodbye, Spider-Man...
"Oh, God..." - someone in the crowd said.
"Yes... That's how Carnage was born..." - Croakus explained as everyone in the theatre heard the sound of a loud scream coming from the screen
The screen showed Kasady laughing maniacally before flying away towards the center of the city. The scene then switched to Peter swinging around the city looking for the escaped criminal.
"I'm so tired... Sometimes I wish I never had these powers. The life would be so much easier without them..." - Peter was thinking out loud while still looking for anything suspicious.
But Peter's trail of thoughts was interrupted by the loud explosions and the sirens coming from. - "Well, duty calls." - The superhero went to check if there're anyone who needs help.
Once Spider-Man landed on the ground he looked for the one responsible for the destruction. Peter couldn't find any clue before he heard the screams for help coming from debris,
"I'm coming!" - The teen said before going to help. - "Please, keep calm, miss! I'll help you get out." - Peter started to lift the one large column under which the young woman was trapped.
But sadly for Spider-Man this woman didn't want to be saved by him. - "Hey! Don't you dare touch me, you murderer!" - The woman yelled at him as Peter took her in his arms.
"Please, ma'am, stop struggling! I-I'm just trying to help!" - Spidey tried to calm the woman down to no avail.
This woman started to wriggle in his hold and while trying to get him off of her scratched Peter across his cheek tearing his mask with her manicured fingers in the process. The young man hissed in pain but still managed to get her out. Once Peter was sure that there weren't anyone else under the debris, he went to the nearby roof to see where he should go next. Strangely, there were no signs of destruction anymore. Spider-Man was already going to just look around the city. As he was about to jump his spider-sense went off. Spider-Man turned around only to be met with the foot in his face. The teenager superhero crashed into the boxes someone left on this roof. He looked up to see Felicia standing above him with eyes full of rage and hatred.
"Finally I got my hands on you, Spider..." - Black Cat spat at him.
"H-hey, Felici..." - Peter nervously tried to greet the thief but was interrupted and had to dodge the punch.
"Shut it! And don't you dare to call me by my name!" - Felicia yelled at the teen making him shiver as she continued her assault.
Peter was saddened by the fact that she was still pissed off at him but he didn't have any other choice. - "Look, Cat, as much as I would've loved to chat with you and let you beat the crap out of me, I'm really busy at the moment." - Peter said while continuing to dodge her attacks.
"So, you can kill someone, but when I asked you to break the law just once to help free my father, you turned me down!" - Felicia yelled at Peter as the tears started to well up in her eyes.
"Cat, I didn't kill Norman... And I have my reasons why I didn't... Couldn't help you... Please, Cat, let's just talk this out..." - Peter pleaded with her but Black Cat didn't want to listen and sent him flying across the roof.
The Cat was sitting on top of Peter as she pinned his hands above his head using just one hand while the other was moving towards his mask.
"Don't lie to me, you hypocrite!"
Meanwhile Felicia in the theatre looked away from the screen as she rubbed her hand.
'If only I knew...' - Felicia thought barely holding back the tears.
"Now, let's see who's under that mask. I want to see your face as I kill you."
Before Cat was able to put off his mask, Peter kicked her in the stomach before webbing her up on the roof.
"I'm sorry, Cat... I really am..." - Peter looked at the struggling girl one last time before flying off to look for the one responsiblt for all the destructions.
The scene then switched to Peter swinging around the city trying to find the criminal but having no success. Peter just sighed and swinged towards his home. The scene switched again to the Ravencroft where we can see Eddie Brock having a chat with the therapist Doctor Ashley Kafka. And looking at the boy you could see him blushing a little. The coversation continued before the alarm went off. A lot off explosions could be heard. Then we could see Carnage ripping off everything he could see in the way letting the criminals like Electro, Vulture and Rhino escape. It seemed like the Cletus purposefully was moving towards the room where Eddie was getting his treatment. At the same time the black symbiote crawled out in the room and started to envelop Eddie's whole body.
Everyone in the theatre now had gloomy faces as they remembered that day.
"Father, we came to free you." - the voice greeted Venom before his eyes landed on Ashley. Cletus wanted to attack her but was stopped by Eddie.
"Leave her. We need to get out of here." - Venom said when another five voices entered the conversation.
"Gentlemen, would you like to join us?" - It was Dr. Octavius with Rhino, Vulture, Electro, Shocker and Molten Man behind him.
"What do you want?!" - Carnage asked him as his hand turned into scythe.
"Well, it's simple... We want to kill Spider-Man."
Venom grinned maliciously as the scene switched again. The scene switched to the next day as Peter was on a patrol since the moment he heard about the break down in Ravencroft. Spider-Man the flying Vulture and decided to follow behind him.
"Spider-Man took the bait." - Vulture said through the communicator.
"Good lead him to us." - Dr. Octopus responded before turning to other villains. "Well, soon Spider-Man will become a history."
"Hey, Beaky, where are you going? Can I tag along?" - Peter joked as he landed on top of Vulture's back.
"Get off of me!" - Vulture said as he started spinning in the air trying to get rid of wall crawler.
"Oh, someone's in a foul mood."
Then Vulture found a spot he needed at went down. He landed on the roof with Spider-Man on his tail
"Hey, Beaky, why stop all of a sudden? Don't tell me you want me to turn you in. Oh, I'm flattered, really." - Peter joked coming closer to the villain.
"Oh, you won't be joking for long, Spider-Man..."
"Hm? Did you say somet-" - Spidey was about to ask before he was kicked from behind by Venom.
"Long time no see, Spider-Man." - Venom sneered.
"What?! How?! I thought I've disposed of the symbiote!" - Peter was shocked at the revelation but didn't have much time as his spider-sense went off. This time it was Shocker who attacked from the blind spot.
Then all the other villains except Carnage.
"Oh, the reunion of the sinister six, how cute. Well, I suppose it's seven now."
Then the red liquidy substance enveloped hero's neck and started to choke him. Peter managed to slam the attacker on the ground.
"Wait! Since when there are two of you?" - Peter asked confused before the realization hit him. - "Cletus Kasady?!" - It was the only logical explanation since Pete didn't manage to find any clue about the serial killer yesterday even though he checked every corner of the city and now the sudden appearance of the second symbiote.
"WE ARE CARNAGE!" - the red and black version of Venow screamed at Spidey.
The fight started as Peter had to take the losing battle. While he was trying to dodge an attack from one villain he got hit by the other one and even if he managed to dodge the two hits, there were eight of them. Spidey was thrashed around as he was costume was torn with the only part of it intact of it being the mask. At the end of the fight Carnage held Peter against the wall as one of his hands turned into a scythe. But as he was about to deliver the final blow the voice of Octavius stopped him.
"Wait! Don't kill him yet. Let's find out who's under that mask first."
"NO ONE ORDERS CARNAGE AROUND!" - Carnage hissed at Otto.
"Just think about it. Wouldn't it be better to kill the ones he cares about right in front of him before ending his pathetic life."
The Carnage released Parker as Octavius took the symbiotic villain's place. But as he was about to pull off Spider-Man's mask Venom slapped his tentacle away.
"That's not what we've agreed on. Kill Spider-Man, yes. But not harming the innocents."
"What are you talikng about, Father? We can do what we want!"
The villains started arguing and it gave Peter the opportunity to escape.
"Hey! Spider-Man is trying to escape!" - Electro yelled but Otto was fast to calm him down.
"I have a plan B and Spider will come to us himself. But for now we need to take care of the traitor."
All the attention was now on Venom. The Shoker was first to attack using his gauntlets. The vibrations made Venom scream in pain as the symbiote started to leave his body. Eddie was left completely exposed as the black substance crawled away.
"Carnage, please, do the honors." - Otto said as he stepped away.
"Weaklings must die!" - Carnage said as he pierced his chest.
"Eddie..." - Gwen muttered as she remembered the moment she received the news about Eddie's death.
Meanwhile as the Carnage killed Venom's host, he threw away his dead body as the scene switched to Peter swinging towards his home.
'I need a plan... There're Molten Man, Electro, Shocker, Vulture, Rhino, Dr. Octopus and two symbiotes... And I can't forget about Mysterio and Kraven who didn't show up but still were free... But first I need to get to my room.'
Spider-sense went off as Peter had to dodge the attack from a certain felline.
"Cat, I don't have time for that!" - Peter started to get annoyed by the fact that he needed to fight Felicia. - 'I need to finish with cat as fast as possible...' - Peter thought and saw only one way to do so. - "You want to know why I didn't want to free your dad, right? You know my photographer, Peter Parker, right?"
"The one who manages to take your pictures? And what if I do?!"
"Your father killed his uncle! Ben Parker, a good man who had a family! Have you ever thought how it feels to lose someone precious to you?!"
"Like you do how it feels! You were the one who killed Norman Osborn and left his family without their member!"
"I didn't kill Norman... But I admit that there's my fault in Norman's death. And it will haunt me forever... But Peter not so long after he managed to take a picture of me, became my friend. And freeing your father would be a betrayal to him!"
"So you just chose to betray me instead! I thought I was special to you!" - Felicia yelled, tears spilling from her eyes as they landed on another rooftop.
"And you were... Still is special to me..."
"Then why?!"
"You know what Peter wanted to do before I met him? He wanted to get revenge... I was the one who told him to let go... Because revenge wouldn't have brought his uncle back... Because his uncle wouldn't have wanted him to stain his hands..." - Peter was half lying to keep his secret identity. - "Would've you forgiven him for killing your dad?"
The realization hit Felicia as she stopped attacking Spider-Man and just looked at the floor. - "Go..."
"I don't know if you'll ever forgive me, Cat... But I hope you'll understand why I did what I did..."
"Just go already!" - Felicia yelled as she slumped against the wall watching the superhero fly away.
Felicia's heart skipped a beat when she remebered this conversation and that even after what happened between them she still was special to him.
'I need to apologize to him as fast as I can.' - The cat burglar smiled a little.
Meanwhile on the screen the scene switched again to the villains as the Octavius was explaining his plan.
"We will split up in three different groups. First team: Rhino, Shocker and Electro. You will go here." - Dr. placed a finger on the marked spot on the map. - "Since Spider-Man is most seen around Queens, our best option is to start here in Newtown. When you'll see Spider-Man, you'll give a sign to the second team: Vulture and I to start wrecking a havoc at the other end of the city. If he'll manage to defeat the first team, once he reaches us we'll give a signal to the last team: Molten Man and Carnage. Even if our two teams will lose, Spider-Man will be too exhausted to deal with Molten Man and Carnage."
Scene changed to Peter entering his room from the window and starting to look for something.
"It's time to try out these babies." - Peter said as he looked at the new set of web-shooters that were able to absorb electricity. (Just imagine the ones from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie)
After Peter got a new camera, he started to put some money aside for the Spider-Man gear. He got enough money to create web-shooters and fire resistant web. But he was able to test only fire resistant web. And still Peter wasn't sure if the web will be able to help with Molten Man. As Peter was about to leave, the black symbiote pulled at his leg and soon enough enveloped his whole body.
"Peter!" - Aunt May yelled but Ben put his hand on her shoulder.
"He'll cope with it." - Ben reassured his wife.
The scene switched to Peter's mind.
"What do you want, Venom?!"
"Take us back." - The black monster said.
"And why would I? I remember that all you want is to destroy me. What changed?"
"They killed Eddie... They killed our partner..."
"YOU'RE LYING!" - Peter couldn't contain his anger and didn't want to believe what the symbiote was saying.
"We don't... Carnage did that... We want revenge."
"Even if it's true... Why would I want to help you?" - Peter was sad sensing that symbiote didn't lie about Eddie.
"We are sorry... We just wanted to be with you and were angry when you've abandoned us... Left us alone. We never meant to harm innocents."
"Sounds unconvincing coming from someone who tried to harm the ones closest to me."
"Please take us back. We promise not to interfere in your life and try to capture your body again."
"Sorry, symbie, but I don't work with someone I don't trust. Now, go away from my mind!"
Peter made symbiote release him and put the black liquidy substance in a jar as he had to leave. As Spidey saw destructions around Newtown and immediately went there to check only to be met by the group of Shoker, Electro and Rhino.
"Hey, guys! Why is there only three of you? Is the group is disbanded?"
"Oh, everything is going according to plan." - Electro said as he used his lightnings to attack Spider-Man.
Then Peter heard the police cars but some of them were going somewhere else instead of coming towards where the Rhino's team was. Spidey sensed that there was something wrong and took his phone out to check the news. He saw that on the other end Otto and Vulture were destroying everything.
'Only Dr. Octopus and Vulture? Where are Mark and Carnage?' - Peter was thinking while successfully dodging attacks from Electro, Shoker and Rhino. - 'Are they... Are they trying to get me exhausted?' - Pete's mind came to a conclusion. - Ok, then I should save as much strength as possible... Let's see... Rhino is very strong but stupid... The problem is getting rid of Shoker and Electro who cover him.'
Spidey made Rhino run at him and in the last moment dodged as Rhino got his horn stuck in the wall. All Peter had to do is wait for the right timing as he was dodging from combined powers of Shoker and Electro and the moment Rhino freed his horn Spidey stood in front of him. And just as Electro and Shoker attacked, Peter dodged in the last moment making the blast hit Rhino and stunned him. As the massive supervillain fell unconcious, Peter used this opportunity and threw him on the Shoker and Electro.
'Well, it seems it's a new record for me. Three down, four more to go.' - Peter thought before the voice of a police officer stopped him. - 'Sadly I didn't get to try out the web-shooters' full potential.'
"Spider-Man, you're under arrest!"
"Oh, come on!" - Peter groaned as he easily disarmed the police. - "Sorry, I got to go!" - Peter waved and flew away towards the next stop. - 'Well, it'll take about 15 minutes to get to the other end of the city with my web. I need to hurry.'
As Spidey thought about the plan against Otto and Vulture his trail of thoughts was interrupted by the ringing of his phone.
"MJ?" - Peter answered the phone.
"Hey, Tiger. I just wanted to ask if you are free today. I decided to part-time as the model. But agency asked to send them a portfolio if I want to work there. The services of a professional photographer are quite expensive and you're the only photographer I know who could help me."
"Well, I might consider it for a price. How about one smile from you? Does this sound good enough?" - Peter said while facepalming. - 'Nice job, Peter, that sounded very cheesy.'
Mary Jane laughed on the other end. - "Look who's got confident. Good for you."
Peter laughed nervously before replying. - "Uhm, MJ? Is there any time limit to send portfolio? I'm just a bit busy right now."
"Not really, I just wanted to do that as fast as possible."
"How about you come to my place, let's say at 8 p.m.? That way you can send the portfolio tomorrow morning?"
"Thanks, Tiger! You're the best!" - Mary Jane said happily as she hung the phone.
In the theatre Felicia was furious, feeling jealous.
'Just not so long ago he told me that I was his special one and the next moment he flirts with this readhead!'
Fifteen minutes later Peter arrived to see Octavius and Vulture causing destructions.
"Oh, Spider-Man, seems like our first team lost to you."
Spidey didn't want to lose time knowing that there were Carnage and Molten Man to deal with. Peter immediately shot the web to Vulture's back while Dr. Octopus was trying to hit superhero from the ground.
'Octavius relies too much on his tentacles. He's an easy target. That means it's better to beat Beaky first.'
Spider-Man got on Vulture's back and led him towards the ground. When Pete was sure they were close enough, he started swinging around villain's torso and wrapped him up in a cocoon. As they landed, Peter went straight to Otto and tore off his tentacles from the base. Spider-Man grabbed the doctor by the collar.
"Where are Mark and Carnage?!"
"Oh, I'll tell you... But how many victims there will be when you get here?" - Octavius said evily.
Peter lost control and knocked out the villain. He looked into Otto's pockets and retrieved the communicator. Spidey looked in horror when they saw the location.
'Oh, no... Liz!'
But as Peter was about to swing to the location he was surrounded by the police.
"Spider-Man, you're under arrest."
Pete's eyes twitched under the mask. - 'I swear if I'll hear this one more time I...'
But Peter couldn't finish the thought as the spider-sense went off and teen had to dodge bullets coming his way. Spider-Man had to disarm the police officers again but one of the managed to shot him in the leg as Parker hissed in pain.
"Peter..." - aunt May thought she'll faint.
Spider-Man quickly got as far as possible. The pain in his leg was almost unbearable as Pete had to make a stop on one of the nearby rooftops.
'Ouch! I don't have time...' - Peter told to himself as he webbed up the wound.
The scene switched to the slaughter Carnage brought: piles of dead bodies, destroyed buildings and unending screams of agony.
Everyone who were watching this from the theatre gasped in horror. Tears ran down Liz's cheeks as she remembered the horrors of that day.
The screen became black with the title 'a few hours ago'. The screen showed Liz lying in her room talking on the phone with someone.
"Hey, sweetie, one of our waitresses caught a flu. Can you help your father and I today?" - Mrs. Allan said entering her daughter's room.
"Uh, sure mom." - Liz replied as she went back to the phone call. - "You heard that, Sal. Sorry, I won't be able to come with you"
The scene changed to the few hours later to the moment of the attack from Carnage and Molten Man. Liz served one of the tables as people outside were running away and screaming. All the guests in the restaurant started to run out of the building as the cheerleader went to kitchen.
"Mom, Dad! We need to run! Something bad is going outside!"
Liz's parents turned off the stoves and started following their daughter. Their family restaurant was at the corner of the building, so there wasn't a backdoor and they had to move from the front. At the meantime Carnage was moving forward while destrying everything in his way. Then the symbiote spotted Liz and went to kill his next victim. He was about to launch spikes at the youngest Allan family member but Molten Man saw that and balsted a stream of fire in Carnage's back making the symbiote scream in pain and miss the shot.
"Don't touch my sister!" - Mark yelled making Cletus turn around and hiss.
The spikes went to the roof of the Allan's restaurant trapping Mr. and Mrs. Allan inside.
"Mom, Dad!"
Spider-Man make it to see Molten Man and Carnage fight each other. He wanted to interfere but saw Liz running to the ruins.
'Hm? What's even happening here?' - Peter looked around and saw the dead bodies. - 'I was too late...' - But Spidey had no time to think about it.
Since it seemed that Carnage and Molten Man were too enamoured with each other, Pete landed near Liz Allan to ask what's wrong.
"Ehm, Miss, is something wrong? You should run from here as fast as possible."
"Spider-Man!" - Liz said turning around. - "My parents are inside! Please, help them!"
"I'll help, but you need to get as far a way from here as possible." - He showed to the place where police were trying to evacuate people.
Spider-Man cleared some of the debris that were blocking the exit and entered inside. As he entered, Spidey saw Liz's parents. Mr. Allan got his leg stuck as Mrs. Allan tried ti help him.
"Mrs. Allan, you need to get out of here. I'll help your husband." - Peter reassured as he led Liz's mom to exit.
"But how do you know my name?"
"U-uhm, w-well, I was there once, good cuisine and interior might I say." - Spider-Man hurried to justify himself.
Liz's mom looked at him suspiciously but still listened to the hero. Spidey lifted the pillar and hissed from the pain in his leg.
"Please, hurry! I won't be able to hold for long." - Peter said as he was about to let go.
"I'm glad he was there." - Mrs. Allan said to her husband.
"I'm too, dear."
As Spidey helped Liz's family to get away, he switched his attention to two fighting villains.
"Hey, lovebirds!" - Spidey called out as he shot the web.
The web successfully enveloped Mark but Carnage teared off the web with raw power.
'Glad the fire resistant web worked.'
"Thanks for the help!" - Carnage said as he launched the spikes at Molten Man.
"No!" - Peter screamed as the spikes went through Mark's body.
Even though spikes hit Molten Man thanks to the fire damage didn't have that much of an impact but it certainly weakened Mark as he passed out and fire from his body went out. Spidey grabbed Mark's limp body and brought him to the evacuation zone.
"He needs medical help and fast!" - Peter said as he went back to Carnage.
Spider-Man was getting completely destroyed by the symbiote and thrown around like a ragdoll. And the wound in his leg didn't help at all making Peter's movements slow.
'Come on, Pete, think! There should be a way.' - Spidey was trying to work out a plan as he remembered his last fight against Venom. - 'Gene cleanser! Last time when I forced it down Venom's throat, it made the symbiote weaker.'
But as Pete came up with the plan, spider-sense came off. Carnage shot the spikes at him. In normal circumstances he would've easily dodged but his wound made itself felt. Spidey couldn't move out of the way as some of the spikes scratched him and one pierced through his webbed up wound making the teen scream in agony.
"Petey/Pete!" - Liz and Gwen were barely able to hold back the tears.
"You're weak! Even weaker than our Father was!" - Carnage sneered.
Peter was furious but he needed to keep his had cool.
"If I'm that weak, why didn't you kill me yet?' - Spidey tried to provoke the villain. - "Catch me if you can!" - Pete webbed Carnage's eyes and flew towards the ESU lab.
Peter led the villain straight into the trap that was ESU.
'Good, there're still some cleansers left.' - Peter grabbed one and all he had to do is find a way to make Carnage drink it.
Even though Spidey had a plan the situation didn't change since Carnage was still easily overpowering him. Peter had only one way out, destroy the lab and make some explosions to weaken symbiote's defence. He started breaking the expensive equipment as the explosions created vibrations. Superhero forced the liquid down the throat of Carnage. The symbiotic villain started to hiss and scream as he held his head. The red and black liquid started to dissolve and started to crawl away.
"Not this time." - Peter said his voice tired as he remembered what happened when he let one symbiote go.
Spidey put the symbiote in an empty test tube before knocking out Cletus Kasady and webbing him outside the lab to let police handle the rest. Peter stopped for a moment before walking back to retrieve another vial with gene cleanser. He used it to fill in the test tube where Carnage symbiote was. The teen watched the symbiote slowly dying and dissolving into the cleanser. Peter forced a weak smile exhaustion from all the fighting and blood loss catching up. Spider-Man broke the vial and went to the dark alley to take off his suit. Well, it couldn't called a suit anymore. As Parker made a couple of steps out of the alley, he blacked out as he heard the sirens coming this way.
In the theatre Aunt May and Pete's female friends were crying at the sight of his beaten and wounded body.
The scene switched to the hospital showing Liz Allan and her parents sitting in the waiting room. The group of doctors and nurses rushed in with someone on the gurney. Liz recognized Peter as she looked in horror at his wounds. She immediately went to one of the doctors to ask what happened with Petey.
"We don't know, miss. The police said they found this boy near ESU lab in that state."
The scene switched again to the perspective of Peter Parker as he woke up to see the white ceiling and lamps blinding him.
"Peter, you're awake!" - Aunt May hugged her nephew once she saw him open his eyes while crying the tears of joy.
"A-aunt May?!" - Peter was startled but then he remembered passing out. - "MJ!" - Peter yelled as he sit up on hospital bed. - "I promised to help her with portfolio!"
"Calm down, Peter, she's right here." - Aunt May told him making him turn around.
"Hey, Tiger."
"I met her when I got a call from the hospital. What happened to you?! Do you know how worried I was when I got a call?! I couldn't lose you too Peter."
"Sorry, Aunt May... I was walking near ESU when that thing attacked. But Spider-Man saved me." - Peter said.
It wasn't really a lie since if not for his spider abilities, he would've died already.
"Sorry, MJ, I couldn;t help you today."
"Don't worry about it, Tiger. It can wait, but now you need to rest." - The redhead smiled at him as she stood up.
"She's right, Peter." - Aunt May nodded standing up as well. - "I'll visit you tomorrow."
The scene then showed Liz again as she paced in front of Petey's hospital ward.
"Oh, Liz. Are you here to check up on my nephew. I'm sure he'd love to see you." - Aunt May smiled.
"How is he?"
"He woke up and doctors said he just needs rest."
"I-I'm glad... I better go..." - Liz said as she hurried back to her parents.
Liz was afraid that Peter wouldn't want to see her after she made a scene back when they broke up.
Liz in the theatre was smiling sadly. She wanted to apologize to Petey but was too scared to approach and since Peter was now at Horizon it seemed impossible to do so.
A weak later Peter was let out from the hospital. He was sitting on the bed with the mask of his spare Spider-Man suit right now. The whole week while he was at the hospital he heard news about the victims of Carnage.
"It's all your fault!" - Parked said as he clutched the mask tighter.
Peter noticed the suitcase laying in the closet and pulled it out. He threw the Spider-Man suit and gadgets inside before locking the suitcase.
"Does that mean..." - someone in the crowd asked.
"Yes, sadly..." - Croakus replied.
Then we see the scene change to show Peter walking on pier lost in thought.
'Too bad no one told me that being a superhero is impossible game to win.'
The scene switched to show Eddie's funeral.
'Or that the ones closest to me would always suffer the most.'
A scene switched again to show Harry Osborn walking alone and angry before showing the Black Cat doing the same.
'Some will hold a grudge against me.'
Then scene showed Liz sittig beside Mark who still didn't wake up while crying before showing her parents' restaraunt in ruins.

The scene switched one last time to show Peter looking at the water with the suitcase in hand.
'I don't want to cause anymore pain here... I can't live with that burden any longer... So, it's time for me to say... Goodbye, Spider-Man...' - Peter finished his thought as he threw the suitcase into the sea.
