Time doesn‘t heal all Scars (If looping brought back Scars as well)
The Tesseract started spinning. Clint looked at it in Alarm and grabbed his bow, drawing an arrow. The Tesseract started spinning faster and faster, until it let out a blue beam of energy, opening a portal of some sort that kept getting bigger, until it collapsed and a blue shockwave was sent out. Clint had to squeeze his eyes for a second because of how bright it was.
A man had appeared, with black, greasy hair and dressed in some kind of green and black leather clothes. In his hands was a spear or something like that, a glowing blue stone at the tip of it. The unsettling about the man though was his face.
It was completely black.
No Eyes, No mouth, No nose, nothing, just completely black. Like Space, but without any stars.
When he looked closer he realised that it was a mask or something, but it still looked creepy as hell. He shook himself out of it when Fury began speaking.
„Sir, please put down the Spear.“, he says. The man looked at it, then at the Agents who tensed under him.
He did, in fact, not put down the spear but instead jump at one if the agents and stab it through him and then immediately shoot at the others with it. The bullets that hit him didn’t have any effect and bounced off as if they were plastic.
Before Clint could even shoot an explosive arrow the man was in front of him and put the Spear at his chest.
Everything went blue.

Thor charged at his brother, who used his sceptre to block him.
„Look around you! All this Destruction- Do you think it will end with your rule?!?“, he shouts at him, desperately hoping that his brother would finally say something. Loki, though, stayed silent, that black mask of his still covering up all of his face. „Say something!“, Thor demands. Loki once again stays silent.
Thor drops his hammer onto Loki‘s foot, and even though not a sound of pain came out of his Brothers mouth, it served as a perfect distraction for Thor to tackle him to the ground.
The Sceptre clattered to the ground somewhere next to them and Thor used his foot to push it over the edge of the tower, down to the other Avengers. Loki still didn‘t even make a sound to acknowledge that and Thor turned to him with another desperate shout on his lips, only for it to shatter the moment he saw his Brothers face. The Mask had been knocked off his face.
Loki‘s face was covered in scars.
A big scar, looking like it was from an explosion, littered the skin around his mouth, down to the neck and up to his left eye, which was milky and unfocused. Blind. When he looked closer he swears he could see a something carved into the scared skin under his other eye.
And there were scars over the rest of his face, looking like cracks in porcelain. Thor was pretty sure some of them were Lichtenberg Scars. And cuts, most fresh and not healed yet.
Loki kicked Thor of him and frantically scrambled to his legs, glancing around for his mask.
“Loki?”, Thor said because it was all he could say. What had happened in his fall to the void for his face to look like…this? What about the rest of his body?
Loki looked him dead in the eye and raised his hands. Thor tensed, but instead of attacking, Loki made some gestures with his hand. Thor had no Idea what they were supposed to mean.
“…What?”, he asks and Loki rolls his eyes at him. He moved around his hands again. Thor only looked at him bewildered. Loki groaned and crossed his arms over his chest, looking very annoyed with Thor, who was annoyed at the fact that loki wouldn’t say anything and only do strange hand gestures. Thor shook himself. That wasn’t important right now.
“Loki what…happened?”, Thor asks carefully. Loki’s eyes get darker and he sighed and then shrugged.
“You…don’t know?”, Thor asks hesitantly, disbelieving. Loki always knew everything. Loki shook his head, still staying quiet.
“You don’t care?”, he guesses, which would already be more like the Loki he knew. If that Loki still existed, he wasn’t sure.
This time Loki nodded and Thor felt vaguely sick. That definitely did matter. From the fact that this must have been extremely painful to the question of how that happened.
“Loki, how did you think this wasn’t relevant?”, he asks, disbelief clear in his voice. Loki’s faced morphed through a few emotions, too fast to get a look at them, but in the end settled onto bone-deep tiredness.
“It doesn’t matter.”, he says and Thor winces because Loki’s Voice sounded awful. It was raspy, as if he hadn’t spoken in years. “It doesn’t change anything. I’m still trying to take over Midgard.”
That…was correct. Even if Loki…changed, it didn’t excuse his actions. But…
“Why are you doing this? You-You told me you didn’t want the throne and now you say it’s what you desire! You’re not making sense!” Loki’s working eye widened just a fraction, but the surprise was obvious on his face. Like he didn’t think Thor would notice something was off.
“You-”, Loki winced and then steadied himself. “You’re right. There’s more to it.”,
Thor was getting more concerned with every sentence.
“Loki…What happened? Why are you doing this?”
“I’m not doing anything..”, he murmured under his breath, but Thor caught it. And puzzled pieces snapped into place. The Scars. The sudden change in behaviour. Him confirming something is going on but not what.
“Is someone…forcing you?” Thor is hoping, desperately hoping, that he was wrong, while at the same time he wanted to be right. Because that meant that Loki was still Loki. But it meant that someone had…forced his brother.
Loki doesn’t say anything, but the ever so slight darkening of his eyes was all the answer thor needed.
“Oh, Norns, Loki-”
“I’m sorry.” Thor stops. “I’m so sorry.”, Loki didn’t look at him, staring at the floor instead. “For everything.” Loki’s voice only whispered the end.
And Thor…
Thor hugs Loki.
Loki tenses up visibly under the sudden contact, it made Thor’s heart clench. Then loki relaxed and buried his head on Thor’s shoulder. Like this he could feel the scared skin of his brothers neck.
Suddenly all he felt was rage. Utter rage. Because someone had hurt his Brother. Someone was responsible for all this. Someone tortured Loki into attacking a planet. Someone tortured his brother while he had been sitting in Asgard. Thor was going to find whoever did this and rip them apart. He would make them suffer.
No one harmed Loki like this and got away with it.
Thor would make sure of it.
