The Impossible Reunion
A whirring sound surrounded the room the doctor and her companions were in, the body of the blonde on a table in the med bay of the TARDIS. The Sonic Screwdriver scanning her, the Doctor brought the sonic back to her and looked at the readings, confusion etched onto her face, her brows scrunched in confusion. "This just does not make sense. She isn't supposed to be here," The Doctor spoke, her sonic falling to her side as she looks at her companions, who all wanted answers.
"What do you mean Doc, who is she?" Graham asked, looking at the young blonde. She hasn't changed that much since the last time the Doctor had seen her. Her attention went to the older companion.
"Rose Tyler, one of my old companions." The Doctor admitted to them, "she's not supposed to be here, in this universe. I have no clue how she even got into the TARDIS. It should be impossible." The Doctor let out a frustrated groan, she hated not knowing things. Yasmin went next to the blonde, a comforting hand on her shoulder, the Doctor smiled over at the young woman.
Unbeknownst to the Doctor and her companions, the blonde on the table was starting to wake up, her hearing was the first thing to have picked up the unfamiliar voices in the room, "A different Universe? So like, another planet?" Ryan asked, standing near Rose who tried to make it seem as if she was still asleep. The Doctor turned her head to him.
"Try, another Earth. She came from a whole another universe, one that's totally different from ours. The only problem though, is that she's not supposed to be here, it's not possible to travel between universes." She sighed. Ryan let out a yelp as Rose slipped behind him, a home made sonic pointed at his neck as she held him there, the others turned to them, the Doctor holding up her hands towards Rose who had Ryan in her grasps, her once brown optics were glowing the same yellow regeneration energy as the doctor.
"Who are you?" Rose spoke, her voice sounding as if it was multiplied.
"Rose, hey, it's me, drop the sonic and hand Ryan over, okay? You're not in danger," The Doctor. Rose held the sonic closer to his neck, glaring at the woman in front of them.
"How do you know my name? Are you with them? Have they followed me back here?" She hissed out, Ryan grimaced at the pain he was feeling from the oddly sharp sonic.
"Whoever you think we are Rose, we aren't. Now, please, will you release Ryan," Rose's hands gripped tighter onto him, before shoving him into her companions. She still held the Sonic out in front of her, pointing it at the Doctor.
"Okay, I've let him go. Now, do me a favor, and tell me who you are and what you're doing here? and Don't lie, I really hate liars," Rose spoke in irritation.
"Alright, alright. These are my friends, That's Yas," Yasmin waved, saying a little "hello" to the blonde, "This is Graham, and that's Ryan," Graham waved nervously towards the blonde whose gaze only hardened. She didn't trust these people, whoever they are. Ryan merely rubbed at his neck in pain, watching her with caution.
"And you? Who are you?" She asked the Doctor, who calmly walked towards her, her hands stilled raised as she put her hands on the sonic.
"It's me Rose. I'm the Doctor," Rose's eyes widened at the revelation, her mouth slack jawed as she stared at the slightly taller woman before.
"No, you can't be," She whispered, the Doctor put the sonic down, it now being in her hands as she put it into her pocket, before grabbing Rose's shoulders.
"I've changed, since the last you've seen me Rose, but I'm still me," The Doctor said. Rose was being overwhelmed with feelings, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as she looked up at the Doctor. The Doctor pulled the blonde into her, hugging her tightly, her own eyes becoming watery as well from the forgotten feelings of seeing Rose again. The shorter woman sobbed into her chest, words tumbling from her mouth.
"They're gone Doctor, everyone is gone..." She spoke through her sobs. The Doctor held her tighter, a little hug is all Rose needed, after everything she had been through to get here. The Doctor and her companions would ask her questions later, right now she needs all the support she can get. There they stood, her companions watching off to the side, too afraid to get closer to the hostile blonde, and saw the way the Doctor was treating the mystery woman. For some reason though, they all felt sympathy for this girl. Just what had happened for her to Dimension hop here?
