"Babe, you gotta try this."
Miles turned his head to accept the bite Margo was offering from her fork, a satisfied moan flowed from his mouth as the flavor hit his tongue.
"Oh wow,"
He mumbled around his mouthful, making his girlfriend giggle.
"That's really good,"
"My mom makes the best Mac and cheese in the family,"
Margo said with a note of pride in her voice.
"Only rivaled by my Auntie."
Miles laughed as he spooned some of his dish and offered it to Margo, who eagerly accepted.
"Hmm,"
She hummed happily, making Miles smile at her cute contentment.
"Tasty, what's that dish called again?"
"Arroz con gandules,"
He responded, taking his own spoonful.
"Rice and red beans, simple yet delicious."
"Ah, the best kind of food."
"You lovebirds know you don't have to bring your own lunch to headquarters right?"
Peter. B chimed in, making the two look away from each other for possibly the first time since sitting down to eat. The older Spider-Man was munching on his cheeseburger with Mayday playing with a teething toy in his lap.
"They have perfectly good food here, ya know."
"Not everyone wants to eat burgers for lunch everyday, Peter."
Miles said matter-of-factly, reaching into his bag and retrieving two cans of Arizona ice tea before handing one to Margo.
"Yeah, some of us like to mix it up sometimes."
Added Margo, cracking open the can and taking a sip of her beverage. Peter shrugged and turned his attention back to his lunch.
"To each their own I suppose."
Margo made a soft sound of agreement before reaching into her own bag, and pulling out a big piece of red velvet cake.
"Wanna share?"
