How the day started
Loki was sleeping soundly in his bed when someone started shaking him. Loki rolled in his sleep batting away the arms trying to wake him.
“Come on Loki wake up we have to get going,” the voice to the person trying to wake him said as it proceeded to yank Loki’s blanket off.
Loki whined and sat up rubbing sleep from his eyes. I front of him was Tony stark trying his best to wake him and Stella up. Loki looked at the clock and could see that it read 7am.
“What’s going on stark?” Loki asked as he swung his feet off the side of his bed. Loki was wearing a t-shirt and shorts pajama set. It had space ships on it, as well as wearing an avengers themed pull-up. Said pull-up was currently wet. Loki could see Tony take Stella over to the changing table in the room. He got up off his bed and walked over to the two. Stella was half asleep as Tony began undressing her from her night gown.
“You know you’re not supposed to call me that,” Tony said as he changed Stella’s diaper.
“So why are we being rushed awake and out the door?” Loki asked as he yawned.
“Because all team members are needed so I have to take you two to a daycare,” Tony said as he put Stella into a black and red dress with ruffled and puffed sleeves.
“Now Loki do you need a change too?” Tony asked looking over at Loki as he sat Stella on the ground. Loki just nodded his head yes not wanting to verbalize it.
“We’ll come on get up here, the rest of the team is already on their way there. I have to drop you kids off and meet up with them,” Tony said ad he helped Loki up onto the changing table.
Tony took off Loki’s pajamas and then the wet pull-up. He wiped Loki down with some wipes and Loki hid his face in his hands. He would never get used to this. Tony finished getting him into a new pull-up and sat Loki back on the ground.
“Go get dressed while I get a bag put together for the two of you,” Tony said and Loki nodded his head.
Loki went to his dresser and pulled out his grey shirt with the robot bear and then some blue jeans. He pulled the shirt on then the jeans. While he did that Stella had found her way into a bean bag chair and fell back asleep on it.
“Come on princess work with daddy. I need you to wake up so I can take you and Loki to daycare,” Tony said trying to get her back up.
“Daddy I dun wanna go to daycare!!” Stella whined as she allowed her body to be dead weight against Tony’s pulling.
“I know but this one is that new one that’s inside an arcade. I think it was called Freddy’s Mega Plex,” Tony said pulling Stella up into his arms with some effort.
“Isn’t that the name of the bear on Loki’s shirt?” Stella asked pointing to Loki.
“Yeah it is. Now come on. Loki can you brag yours and Stella’s cups please?” Tony asked heading towards the door.
Loki looked around quickly finding the cups on the coffee table. Stella had a stitch tumbler and and he had a wolf one. Loki grabbed them and headed to the door to catch up with the other two.
“Thanks Loki now what do you want to drink guys,” Tony said as he walked to the kitchen.
“Water peas,” Stella said yawning.
“Apple juice please,” Loki said handing Tony the cups.
Tony sat Stella down on the counter before grabbing the cups from Loki. He went to the fridge and filled Loki’s cup first and then Stella’s. Once he is done he hands Loki his cup back and then hands Stella hers before picking her back up.
They head to the elevator and once in there Loki hits the ground floor button for Tony.
Once they land on the ground floor the trio rush out the front doors of the tower. The sun has barley risen, but there was a limo out side waiting for them.
“Thanks happy for coming so quickly,” Tony said to his favorite chauffeur as the man opens the back door for them.
Loki crawled into the limo first, then Tony set Stella in next. He then slid into the vehicle himself. Happy closed the door behind Tony before going back to the drivers seat. Happy checked the rear view mirror to watch Tony buckle the kids in before he began to drive to the Mega plex. Loki looked out the window as they drove. He glanced over at Stella who was down for the count in her seat. They had been on the road for about 20mins when Tony’s phone rang.
“Tony what’s your location?” Loki could her Steve on the other side of the phone.
“I’m about halfway to the daycare,” Tony said back.
“You’re still in NewYork?”
“Yeah you try waking up two sleeping kids. Then having to change them, dress them, get them something to drink, and then rush them out the front door. Don’t mention the 40min drive to the daycare,” Tony said with a scowl on his face.
“You’re driving them?” Loki could hear Clint’s voice.
“Well yeah. Don’t you remember the last time I tried taking them somewhere while wearing the Ironman suit Steve went ballistic on me?” Tony argued.
“You Have a point there. So you’re going to be at least 20 more minutes then?” Steve asked.
“Yes,” Tony answered. And with that the phone call ended.
Loki sat across from Tony just sipping his juice.
“Daddy, how long are you guys going to be gone for?” Stella asked, cracking her eyes open.
“Probably all day baby,” Tony said, petting her head.
“You forgot to brush her hair this morning before we left,” Loki pointed out Stella’s bed head.
“You could also use a brushing Loki. I did pack a hair brush in the bag,” Tony said as he handed the bag to Loki.
Loki took the offered bag and dug around in it looking for the brush. Once he found it he began brushing out his hair. By the time he had finished brushing his own hair and then giving the brush to Tony so he could do Stella’s hair the limo was pulling into the parking lot.
“Alright Stella, Loki. Tell me what are the rules?” Tony asked, looking at both kids.
“Always stick together,” Loki and Stella said at the same time.
“And?” Tony asked.
“No fighting while out in public,” the two kids said, rolling their eyes.
“Good, Loki, what's your rule,” Tony asked looking at the boy.
“I’m the older brother and need to keep an eye on Stella, because of her curse she is easy to lose and be taken away,” Loki said in a ‘don’t care’ attitude.
“I didn’t need the attitude, but good,” Tony said ruffling the boy's hair.
“Sorry it’s just you have us say it every time we go out somewhere,” Loki sighed.
“Well, do you blame me? After what happened at the park,” Tony said, raising an eyebrow.
“You’re right, sorry for bringing it up,” Loki said as he cringed at the memory.
“Now I don’t either of you leaving this place without someone from the team picking you up,” Tony said as he unbuckled Stella.
“Yes sir,” both kids responded.
“Ok I put both of your credit cards in the bag as well. There should be plenty of money to buy things for yourselves in there,” Tony said as he opened the door.
He and the kids got out of the limo and into the parking lot.
“You guys behave, we will try and be back as soon as we can. Watch out for each other and stay safe,” Tony said, kissing the top of Stella’s head and pulling the two kids into a quick hug.
Loki and Stella hugged him back. Before they went into the building they watched Tony hit a button on his suitcase and it transformed into his Ironman suit. Tony waved at the two before he launched off. Stella grabbed Loki’s hand and the pair walked into the megaplex as Happy drove away. Upon entering the building they could see just how massive this place was. There were large statues that were golden. It appeared that there was one for each of the animatronic cast. There was Chica, Freddy, Montey, and Roxy. As they walked further in the bear animatronic named Freddy came up to them.
“Hello little super stars! Where are your parents? We are not open quite yet,” Freddy asked looking at the two.
“Daddy just dropped us off here to have fun all day while he is in business meetings all day,” Stella said and Loki nodded his head.
“I can’t allow you to walk around unsupervised. Especially when we are not open yet,” Freddy said walking closer to the pair.
“Hey Freddy! It’s alright their dad called ahead and explained everything. The megaplex staff has agreed to keep an eye on them for the day,” a lady in a security uniform said as she ran over to the three of them.
“So we have some VIP superstars with us today then,” Freddy hummed thinking it over.
“Yes. So I will take it from here. Thanks for the help, Freddy!” the lady said as she ushered the kids towards a desk. As they walked away Freddy waved goodbye.
“Alright I believe the info I got was you are Loki and Stella right?” The lady asked them.
“Yes,” Loki answered while Stella nodded her head.
“Ok good. Now the mega plex isn’t quite ready to open. So I’m going to take take you guys over to sunny. He will watch you until it’s time for us to fully open,” the lady said, “Oh by the way my name is Sabrina.”
Sabrina then led the two through the mega plex. She paused for a moment before taking the two to another security station and grabbed two bear shaped watches.
“Here put these on. Once we open you guys can contact staff members of you need anything,” Sabrina said as she handed Loki and Stella each a watch.
They began walking further into the building. Once they came up to two big wooden doors they stopped. Sabrina went up to the big doors and knocked on it.
“Hey sunny could you come here real quick?” Sabrina called out.
After a minute or two the big doors opened creaking as they did. Once fully open a very tall animatronic came out. It was wearing a jesters costume and its head was shaped like a sun.
“Hello Sabrina! How can I help you?” Sunny said in a high pitch chipper voice.
“These two are our VIPs for the day. I was hoping you could keep an eye on them while I help the rest of the staff finish setting up for the day?” Sabrina asked.
“Of course I can that’s my job after all as the daycare attendant.” Sunny said cheerfully.
“Thanks sunny. Alright kids follow sunny into the daycare and remember if you need anything you can contact me using the Fazz watch,” Sabrina said before waving goodbye and walking away.
Stella and Loki followed the daycare animatronic into the daycare. Once inside they could see a giant ball pit, some big climbing structures, an arts and crafts section, as well as just some big open space to run around at.
“So my little VIPs what do you want to do first?” Sunny asked cheerfully.
Loki and Stella looked at each other then back at their surroundings nodding their heads they pointed to the arts and crafts area.
“Alright here we go!” Sunny said before picking up both kids catching them off guard.
Stella and Loki grabbed onto the animatronics clothes worried they would fall. Sunny walked with both kids, one on each hip. He made a mental note that both were padded. Sunny made it over to the crafts area quickly and sat the kids down on the ground.
“So sun beam what’s in your backpack?” Sunny asked noting Loki had a bag with him.
“It’s just mine and my sisters things for the day. Like our credit cards and extra clothes,” Loki said with a hint of a blush not mentioning the diapers and pull-ups.
“I can take it and put it away in a cubby for now so nothing gets lost,” sunny offered reaching out a hand to grab the bag.
“I’d rather hold onto it,” Loki said looking worried.
“Ok superstar, but Freddy’s is not responsible for lost or stolen items,” sunny said as he walked over to some closets and digging threw them.
Stella sat at the table looking like she might go back to sleep.
“What craft would you like to do?” Sunny asked.
“Do you just have plain paper and crayons?” Stella asked looking over at sunny with sleepy eyes.
“Sure do sun drop. How about you sunshine?” Sunny asked Loki.
“The same is fine,” Loki responded as he sat next to Stella.
Sunny sat some blank paper down and a bin of crayons on the table next to the pair.
“Thank you,” Stella said as she grabbed a piece of paper and some crayons.
“Yes, thank you,” Loki said before doing the same.
“Wow such great manners,” sunny praised the two.
Stella started writing scientific equations and formulas, as well as quadratic equations. She was hoping flexing her brain muscles would help her wake up. Loki on the other hand was just doodling random things like animals from Asgard.
“Well super stars we have about 30mins until more sunny kids will be arriving and I have some things to finish. If you two need anything just holler,” sunny said making another not in the children’s files noting that Stella was very intelligent for her age. He then proceeded to walk away and set a few more things up for the day.
Stella and Loki stayed there for the next 30mins until they heard children squealing. They turned around and could see kids coming down a slide into the big ball pit. Within a few minutes five kids have joined Stella and Loki in the daycare. Sunny got the other kids situated before checking in on Loki and Stella.
“Wow Stella you are so smart, and Loki you did so well on your drawings,” sunny praised the two.
“Thank you,” Stella said putting down her crayon.
“Thanks,” Loki said doing the same.
“Do you think we could leave now that the plex is fully open and go the the arcade?” Stella asked.
“Not without and adult sighing you out,” sunny said as he turned to great more kids coming in.
Stella and Loki sat for a moment and pouted before Stella remembered something.
“The watches! We can ask for a staff member to come check us out,” she said looking at Loki.
Stella opened her Fazz watch and figured out how to send messages. She found Sabrina’s name and typed a message: Hey Mrs.Sabrina me and Loki would like to leave the daycare but sunny said we need an adult to check us out. Could you come or send someone to come check us out please and thank you.
Stella and Loki waited for a few minutes before Stella got a message back.
