The killer trio
Tony landed with Steve in a little place where Aloy and Pietro were, followed by Vision.
"Everybody is ok?" Tony asked.
"Just a little dizzy but overall fine." Aloy said a bit weakly.
"That is the same for me." Steve said.
They all saw the city of Meridian and were amazed by it.
"No wonder it is called the city of the light. It literally shines." Tony said.
"Before we go near, I must give you something." Aloy said as she got out of her bag some common clothes of the nora and passed them to each of them. "I think that it's better that no one here knows that you are Old Ones. You saw the reaction of Nora. Vision, you should stay since they see you..."
"Don't worry Aloy. I have other ways to hide my identity." Vision said. His entire body glowed and he looked like a normal person wearing the nora clothes. Aloy was amazed. "I can change my appearance when I want so no problem."
Tony pressed his reactor and the armor vanished. "You will have to tell me how your armor works." Aloy told him.
"I will tell you later." He responded.
"And please Steve, keep that shield hidden with a cape in your back." She suggested. Steve put it there and a cape hiding it.
After everybody got dressed up, they continued their way to Meridian.
When they got to the bridge of Meridian, the guards stopped them.
"Stop right there. No one that isn't allowed can enter." One the guards said.
"They are with me so why not?" Aloy asked them
"Because they need to be given permission. Not because they are with you means that they can enter here." The guard answered.
Just when Aloy was gonna reply, a familiar voice said: "Aloy. There you are."
Aloy saw that it was Erend, looking a bit worried, but happy in other aspects. "Hi Erend."
"I'm glad that you are here. And who are you people?" He asked, looking at the others.
"We are Nora and we are traveling with Aloy to help her on her journey." Steve answered.
Erend didn't look totally convinced, but decided that there would be time to talk about that later. "If you say so. Aloy, Avad wants to talk with you, and I think that your friends should come."
"Ok." She said, The others followed them through the city until they reached the place where the sun-king was located.
"Here is Aloy sir, and some of her friends who could help with a problem." Erend announced when they arrived.
"Thanks Erend." He said as he looked at the 4 avengers. "Who are you and what tribe are you from?" He asked.
"I'm Tony and they are Steve, Pietro and... Lukas from the Nora tribe." Tony said, as the others understood that Lukas was Vision.
"Weird names, but ok." Avad turned to Aloy. "I must inform you Aloy that Dervahl has escaped while we were taking him to be executed."
Aloy was surprised and worried about what he could do. "Has he done anything in Meridian?" She asked.
"So far he has only made a hole in the ground a short distance from here." He said. "I want you to go and check that area with your friends and Erend and find out what is in that hole, if you want."
"Of course." Aloy answered.
"And we will help her." Steve said.
"I will be waiting back here then." Avad said.
When they arrived at the hole, they saw that Dervahl had put some ladders to climb down, so they used them and they managed to get to the bottom, where they saw a giant metallic door.
"Can you open it Aloy?" Erend asked her.
"Let me try." She said as she stepped in front of the door and pressed a digital pad with the shape of a hand in front of the door, which opened it. "Done."
They entered what looked like a facility with the SHIELD logo. Just when they passed into another room a weird light activated.
"Intruders detected. Initiating defense protocols." Said a robotic voice, as the door closed behind them. After that 5 drones appeared from the ceiling and started to chase Erend and Aloy.
"Look out!" Erend shouted, trying to hit the drones, but these were too quick. Even Aloy had problems aiming for them. Just when one was about to shoot Erend, Steve took out his shield blocking the bullets and used it to take out the drone, surprising Erend.
Meanwhile the others were fighting the drones, as more of these kept coming. Pietro using his speed, Tony activated his armor and shot the drones with his beams, Aloy with her arrows and spear and Vision, who returned to his normal look with his beam.
"JARVIS, disconnect the drones." Tony ordered.
"Almost done sir."
Just when the number of drones was increasing, they shutted down and stopped working. "Done sir." JARVIS said.
"Right on time, JARVIS." Tony said.
"What was that!?" Erend shouted standing in front of Tony. "Where did you get that armor from? What is the metal of that shield? How did that guy runned so fast? What is that robot? Are you even real Noras?"
"Erend we are going to explain but first we gotta see what is inside this place." Aloy said, trying to stop the situation from getting worse.
"No! They are going to explain to me who they really are!"
Steve exhaled, deciding that he should tell Erend the truth. "Ok Erend. Just please don't tell anyone, ok?" At the lack of response he continued. "We are Old Ones. And we were a group named the avengers with special abilities."
Erend was shocked. "But the Old Ones got exterminated a long time ago."
"We don't remember what happened, but we do know that we need to protect this world." Vision said, making Erend uneasy. "Let me explain our origins."
Half an hour later, Vision had explained the origins of the four avengers. When he finished, Erend said: "I still have doubts about all you said, like the nearly indestructible shield. But the thing that gave you life and speed to that runner comes from the stars?"
"From beyond the stars."
"I will ask you my doubts later, but right now we gotta see if Dervahl is still here." Erend said.
The next room was almost empty except for two weird containers. Tony recognized them instantly.
"Please still be working." He said to himself, as he ran toward them. Suddenly, a voice, similar to the one Tony heard when he woke up, said: "Hello Mr. Stark. Do you want to wake up the black, widow and hawkeye from the sleeping state."
"Yes." He said. The pods started to open and all of them saw how Natasha and Clint walked out of the pods a little dizzy. Tony was relieved and happy. "Clint and Nat, you are alive!" He shouted when he went to hug them.
"The hug is a bit strong." Clint said.
Erend asked Vision: "Are these guys more old ones?"
"Yes they are."
"Hey Steve." Pietro got near Steve and started whispering to him. "If we include Aloy it would be a killer trio. Don't you think so?" Steve gave a smirk.
Meanwhile, in his secret base, HADES managed to enter the repaired body of Ultron, getting a bit of Ultron's personality.
"Finally a decent body. Time to put my plan in action." He said as he turned on other humanoid robots.
