It hurt that you couldn't be a reporter anymore. Mac and the others understood why you were going into retirement and made you promise to call them up once in a while to let them know you okay. Your bookshelf took of a bear wall, the pictures you took on your travels filled the walls and dresser. Clothes and other items now mixed with Jigens...and the room looked more lived in...if felt nice.
When you did start moving, against Jigens wishing might I add, you wondered around the hide out.
You were lucky him and the boys went out to shop for food and other things, so you could make a getaway in exploring.
The hide out it self was nothing and yet everything you expected it to be. You never thought it would be a big place but it was. Paintings of the Lupin family hanged on the wall along with other things. A lot of thing you remember seeing being taken were on display, which you kinda enjoyed seeing up close.
"Shoul you be up?" The voice spooked you making you jump...which kinda hurt
"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." Looking up you see a woman with redish brown hair. "No no your fine...I'm still getting use to" You look aroud "all this." She smiles and helps you to the chair where she was sitting. "I'm Fujiko." And your eyes light up. "I thought you looked familiar." She smiled even brighter and you started talking like old friends. She told you stories of her capers and you told her about your undercover works.
"So that's how you seduce our grumpy gunmen." She plays. "I guess you can say that. I was almost half tempted to interview him then do my actual work." You smile as you remember that night back you first met Jigen.
Reporting
"Not use to not being able to report yet?" Fujiko could see it in your eyes. How you looked like someone died. "Yeah...but I knew what I was getting into when I start dating Jigen...we both did...I just never thought it would happen " you didn't realize the target you have on your back till now. Yeah sure people like Mac or your neighbors would know of you in a relationship with Jigen, but others would. People who either didn't like Jigen or didn't like Lupins Gang now had advantage...and it was you.
"Hey...your looking a little skittish." Fujiko puts a hand on your shoulder helping you ease out of your panic. "I-I'm fine...just a little I dont...out of it...like a fish out of water." You mumble.
Fujiko made a face. She was thinking of what to say, she seen your articles, watched your reporting. You were the best thing to happen and tried to make a difference. You took down really criminals, fought for a difference...and you had to walk away from that.
"I know it's hard for you...but things will get better..."
"It not really that I'm worried about...I love reporting and stuff...but I'm worried about this happening again. I don't want to put Jigen through that again." She smiles a bit. "Of course you would be worried about your man." And that starts a whole new conversation between the two of you.

A month passed as it seemd like you were getting use to things.
You still needed rest and a doctors visit to give you a 100% recovery, you moved around more and settled a bit better.
The stuff you had you went through with Jigen. Obviously you couldn't keep everything, so things needed to be sorted. "Ooo what's this?" You looked up to see Lupin holding a red leather book. Jigen also gets up to see what Lupin has while your still thinking what it could be as they open it.

"Lupin!" He eventually let's you have it and you sigh and flip through the book and sure enough you found the picture they were looking at. "I didn't know you could draw." Jigen mutters while looking over your shoulder. "It's really good (Y/n), who's the guy anyway." Lupin adds making you sigh.
"To be honest I forgot I still had this." You flipped through more pages to see the rest of your drawing you did. "You know that's how I got the job at the paper." You smile at the memory. "I use to do the court room drawings when cameras weren't allowed, before I got into reporting."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I loved drawing, but the money was better for investigating reporting and I switched."
"So who was the guy?" Jigen asked again, you can see a bit of jealously in his eyes, that makes you smile. "Old ex, nothing to worry about." While you and Jigen talked Lupin looked through more of the box where he found your sketch book. He found more Sketches and other things. Compared to his drawings when it came to planing his heists yours are far superior. "Say (Y/n)...how do you think your drawing skill are now?"
"I don't know. I'm probably rusty. " Lupin looks around and spots Goemon outside meditating. "Think you can draw Goemon."

The boys stopped arguing and went to see your drawing

Begrudgingly you actually really good at collecting information and of course drawing. Your drawing helped out a lot, while you reporting gave them a lot of information about the place, the structure, and to who and now owns the places they robbed. Sometimes you would let your real face show to get more information.
Since many people still recognize you from your former job and think your here for a vacation and you kind of let them believe your doing this for a vacation blog you write. And well it works.
As time goes on things get better.
And eventually it's time to head back to the hide out.
This is were new problems lie
On travels it was hard to have time....alone......with each other....
It proved to be worse when you came back home.
"That would have been nice." Jigen agrees.
Since being back you still haven't had time alone yet. Not with Lupin, Goemon, and Fujiko in the hide out. It was probably worse when you out on heist with them.
