"Boss, we have found a way to fix everything without Mr. Rogers and Mr. Lang's stupid Time Heist Plan," Friday said as Tony raised his eyebrows, turning to the screen. He had finished tucking Morgan into bed and telling her the greatest story known to mankind.
"I just figured out time travel using the quantum realm, and you're telling me we can do it without time travel?" Tony asked, his eyes wide, as he walked down the hall towards the elevator. "I think Scott proved the quantum realm works."
"Boss, I'm telling you my plan will work, but there is a 0% risk. According to calculations and what Sorcerer Supreme Wong knows, the plan I have come up with has a 50% success rate without any risks. If it fails, and if it does, we can do the time heist. Don't you want to exhaust all options before breaking time? You know that plan made by Captain America the biggest fraud strategist. I mean, from the Mark 50 footage, yours and Quill's plan to ambush Thanos would have gotten the stones if it wasn't for Mr. Quill's outburst. Meanwhile, Team Cap and Wakanda, led by Captain America, couldn't even defeat the Chitauri. Your War Machine armor bombing run was more useful than any Wakanda tech. So, are you sure you want to skip and use a plan created by idiots who have a 70% fail chance without you? So boss, do you want to use my plan?" Friday said as Tony stopped at the elevator.
"Ok, fine Friday, show me," Tony said as the door opened, and he stepped out of the elevator and walked back to the lab.
"The plan we came up with is to make new physical forms for the Infinity Stones using the element your father discovered and you synthesized from the Tesseract," Friday said as the gears in Tony's head started to turn.
"You mean we could use the Baddasium—I refuse to change the name, by the way; it sounds the best—which is a synthetic, powerless Infinity Stone capable of holding the power of the Infinity Stone to create new physical forms for the Infinity Stone's power to return to?" Tony said as his brain processed the info.
"That is correct, boss. We have a 50% chance of success," Friday said as Tony rubbed his eyes and nodded.
"And the information Wong gave you about the Infinity Stones supports this theory?" Tony asked, his eyes still shut.
"Yes, boss. The information Wong gave me proves the theory that the Infinity Stones' powers and the stones themselves are separate," Friday replied as Tony opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling.
"Contact Rhodey and Rocket, tell them to come alone. If we are doing this, we are doing it without Steve Rogers. He is dead set on time travel. Friday, destroy all research we have done on time travel. Luckily, I will remember it as a failsafe, but we can't let Rogers, Barton, or Romanoff get the information. It's a good thing we destroyed Romanoff's bugs in the house and gave her a black eye the last time she put some in since she compromised Morgan's security. I loved leaving her in jail with prisoner Dreykov for a few hours, with him having free access to do anything he wants to her. It taught her discipline. I can see why the late Maximoff loved using past trauma. It's an effective way to keep someone in check," Tony said as Friday agreed with him.
"What about the other Avengers like Thor or Bruce? And what about Carol?" Friday asked Tony.
"Thor's lost his touch. He's gone into depression since Loki. I do go and check up on him, but Morgan needs more of my time. The rest of Avengers don't care. Rogers is doing all these talks for civilians, but he hasn't helped one of his family members, aka the Avengers. Bruce, I'm not sure. He's easily swayed, but Romanoff wanting to… don't know what he sees in her personally. She's not even worth that much. She's been used by men for years in the red room, and you can smell it coming a mile away. She should really get some vagina spray. Carol, yes, she will be helpful and knows the galaxy. We will need to go to the planet where Thanos snapped and destroyed the stones, Planet 0259-S, the garden," Tony said.
"Okay, I have contacted them. They should be here tomorrow," Friday said as Tony got up and walked into his bedroom and sat down on the edge of his bed.
The next day, Tony sat across a table, Morgan on his lap, Pepper sat on his side, as Rocket Racoon, Carol Danvers, and Rhodey sat across from him. Wong stood on his side.
"What's this meeting about, Stark? I heard you refused to help Steve with the Time Heist since it puts your daughter and the world at risk," Carol asked, kind of pissed. She can understand wanting to protect his daughter; I mean, Morgan was a precious gem that needed to be protected, but still.
"First, I refuse to call the Time Heist plan made by Steve a plan. It's a disaster. You mess with time; it messes back with you. But I have a better plan. I can only tell you if you promise Rogers won't be involved," Tony said as Carol nodded.
"Okay, Tony, tell me, and I will decide whether or not the rest of the team can join in," Carol said as Tony sighed and started to explain the plan.
"Well, as you know, there are six Infinity Stones—space, time, reality, mind, power, and soul. Space and time were destroyed, but that was just their physical forms. The stones themselves, what we use to interact with the stones, but the power of the stones, according to Sorcerer Supreme Wong, still exists. Isn't that right, Wong?" Tony said, looking at Wong.
"That's correct, Stark," Wong said as he nodded.
"Right. So, the idea I have is to use the element my dad discovered and I synthesized from the Tesseract—Baddasium at the location of the stones' demise to create new physical vessels for the stones that can handle it. Then Ms. Danvers here, someone who has been blessed by the Tesseract, can snap and bring back the people who were snapped. After that, we will separate the new Stark Stones. Rocket Raccoon will take the Power Stone, Ms. Danvers the Space Stone, I will take the Reality Stone, Thor will have the Mind Stone, Sorcerer Supreme Wong will take the Time Stone, and we will return the Soul Stone to Nebula, who will take it since her sister was used by Thanos to get it," Tony said as Carol and Rocket nodded.
"That sounds like a plan," Rocket said as Carol agreed.
"Yeah, Tony, we can do it without Rogers and the others," Carol said as Tony smiled and thanked them.
"Good because I wasn't gonna make the elements with them around. They are selfish. We can't trust them. So, Rocket, can bring the repaired Guardians ship around, and we will do this ASAP," Tony said as Rocket got up and walked out of the house.
A few hours later, Tony, Rhodey, Wong, Carol, Rocket Raccoon, and Nebula were on Planet 0259-S, The Garden.
"So this was Thanos's retirement plan after he did mass genocide," Tony said as the others who were already there nodded. "Seems peaceful. Never thought a Galactic Terrorist could be so peaceful. We should have introduced him saving near-extinct species. Maybe he could have changed paths," Tony joked as he landed near the others.
"It's too late for that, Stark," Nebula said as Tony walked out of the suit.
"I'm joking, Nebs. So, we are gonna make vessels for new Reality, Mind, Power, Space, Soul, and Time stones. Okay, I'm going to start synthesizing the element," Tony said as Nanotech formed into a prismatic accelerator. He then started using it to synthesize six Baddasium elements in the shape of stones with the word 'Stark' engraved in them because why not?
"What's he doing?" Nebula asked.
"He is making new physical forms for the Infinity Stones. He has made a prismatic accelerator that will synthesize the element into six stones," Wong replied as he sat down, watching as soon as the Stones were made, each of them started shining. The first one turned blue, being imbued with the power of space; the second one became yellow, being imbued with the power of mind; the third one turned red and was imbued with the power of the reality stone; the fourth one turned orange and was imbued with the power of soul, and the fifth one was purple and was imbued with the power of power, and the last one was green and was imbued with the power of time.
"Whoa," Rocket Racoon said as he looked at the stones.
"Wow," Carol Danvers said.
"It worked," Rhodey said as Nebula looked at the stones in awe.
"This is amazing, Stark. You created new physical forms for the Infinity stones," Wong said as Tony gestured for Carol to snap using a Stark infinity Gauntlet to bring back the people that were snapped.
"You ready, Danvers?" Tony asked Carol as she nodded and put the gauntlet on her hand and placed her fingers on the stones.
"Here goes nothing," Carol said as she snapped, and a bright light appeared.
"Friday, did it work?" Tony asked Friday, who, thanks to Rocket, could now connect to Space Internet.
"Yes, sir. Mr. Strange and Mr. Parker have returned and are on earth," FRIDAY said.
"Okay, let's get back to earth," Tony said.
A few hours later, Tony arrived at Farm House to see Peter and Strange and hugged Peter.
"Hey Pete, you okay?" Tony asked as the teenager nodded.
"I'm okay, Mr. Stark, but where are we? What happened?" Peter asked as he looked around, seeing a lot of new people and places.
"Thanos won. You got snapped. But Friday made a plan to recreate the Infinity Stones after Thanos destroyed them using an element my dad discovered based on the Tesseract and synthesized long ago to save my life, making the element called Baddasium to make the new and improved Stark Stones," Tony said, showing Peter the Stones.
"Wow, Mr. Stark, that's amazing," Peter said as he saw the new Stones.
"Okay, I will talk to you in a bit, but first, we will separate the new Stark Stones. Rocket Raccoon will take the Power Stone, Ms. Danvers the Space Stone, I will take the Reality Stone, Thor will have the Mind Stone, Sorcerer Supreme Wong will take the Time Stone, and we will return the Soul Stone to Nebula, who will take it since her sister was used by Thanos to get it," Tony said as he handed the people the stones.
"STARK, HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO RECKLESS WITHOUT INFORMING US? WE ARE YOUR TEAM," Rogers yelled, running in with the Rogues, as he had seen a live stream set up by Friday, who wanted to PR for Tony. That showed Tony bringing everyone back by recreating the infinity stones, otherwise known as Stark Stones since she didn't want Romanoff to convince Tony to share the credit. Of course, she blurred the synthesizing process so nobody else can make Baddasium.
"Because I didn't need you and knew you would stop this safe plan to play hero and create time travel, which would have had a high risk and would have caused chaos in the universe," Tony said.
"Tony's right, Rogers. We used the safest way to bring everyone back and didn't cause chaos. Now that the stones are in new safer physical form and will not be able to be abused by anyone but us," Nebula said as Rogers scoffed.
"How did you guys make the Stones?" Natasha asked.
"None of your business, Romanoff. It's a Stark family trade secret," Tony said.
"I can't believe you made the stones without us, Tony," Bruce said.
"Well, unlike some people, I'm not selfish. I was willing to risk myself but not my daughter," Tony said.
"So you left us to try and create Time Travel alone, knowing we wouldn't be able to and get stuck in some random time period," Clint said as Tony laughed.
"Don't try to guilt-trap me, Barton. You will do what you want. Even after I refused, you brought Bruce on, and Bruce, you were so hesitant about Ultron, a peacekeeping program. But you were so eager to create time travel, something a billion times worse than a peacekeeping program. Also, I didn't leave you; I was working on another plan. The one we did. One that didn't put my daughter at risk," Tony said.
"Why are you being so selfish and not sharing the credit, Stark?" Steve said.
"I don't see how this is selfish. You are just angry I proved Iron man doesn't need the Avengers." Tony said as the team scoffed.
"Whatever, you have the stones," Steve said.
"Yep, and you will not get them. We have decided to split them up, and the Stones won't be able to be used or held by anyone than I have predetermined due to precautions I have put in before using copies of my AI Friday and the ones in the stones have gained sentience so they can't be hacked to be changed. And since I'm feeling nice, I will tell you who will hold the STARK stone and which one. Rocket will hold the Power Stone, Carol Danvers will hold the Space Stone, Thor will hold the Mind Stone, Wong, or Strange basically whoever the Sorcerer Supreme is allowed to hold the Time Stone, Nebula will hold the Soul Stone, and I, the Avengers representative, will hold the Reality, and no, I can't be changed, so don't bother," Tony said.
"What? You can't just decide that, and what did you say about your AI becoming sentient?" Steve said.
"Of course, I can. I am the creator of these new STARK Stones, and the AI was in the Baddasium. When the stones were imbued with the power of the Infinity Stones, the AI became sentient. They can't use the power of the stones; they are there to safeguard the stone and to make sure only those who I predetermined can use the stones. It must hurt to know you're not needed, but you need to accept the fact that you aren't important and haven't been since World War 2. If it wasn't for SHIELD or me, you would be a man out of time," Tony said as he smirked and walked away.
"Tony, you need to build Time Travel to fix this. You are becoming too controlling," Rogers said as Tony got annoyed.
"It's only because I didn't leash you up that Thanos won. If I didn't spoil you, you wouldn't have broken the team for my parent's murderer Barnes, and we would have won. And why are you so desperate about making time travel?" Tony yelled, losing it.
"I can answer that; it's because he wants to go back in time and steal Peggy Carter's husband's life and abandon the future like a coward," Dr. Strange, who had seen a different outcome, said.
"Is that true, Rogers? You want to time travel to steal someone else's future?" Tony asked as Steve sighed.
"Fine, I do want to time travel and marry Peggy and get the life I deserve and change time to fit my standards," Rogers said as Tony rolled his eyes.
"Rogers, do you really think that would work and it would be good for the universe, and you're a fugitive?" Tony asked.
"What about the others?" Tony asked as Friday spoke up.
"Ms. Romanoff wants to save her past self and raise out of the red room; Mr. Wilson wants to be a sidekick to Rogers and go with him to the past, being his servant. Mr. Lang just wants to impress Rogers, Mr. Barton wants to do it because he doesn't like you getting credit, boss, and Ms. Maximoff wants to go back in time and save her parents."
"That's why you have to make time travel, Tony, please," Rogers said as Tony held the Reality Stone and made it make a cage around Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, Scott Lang, and Wanda Maximoff—one that made their attacks ineffective.
"Strange, I believe that messing with time is under your jurisdiction, and I believe you will take care of these criminals plotting to mess with it, especially since the universe has been restored since the stones have been recreated, so we don't need time travel anymore," Tony said as the other Avengers looked in anger.
"Of course, Stark, and I will handle the prisoners," Dr. Strange said.
"I'm not a criminal; I didn't do anything," Scott said.
"Mr. Lang, you were planning on time travel. That's a serious crime that could destroy the universe," Strange said as he took the prisoners away.
"What are you doing, Tony, giving away our freedom?" Rogers said.
"I am saving the universe," Tony said, pausing. "From you. You are too dangerous. Mr. Lang brought up time travel, and you all want to use it for your own selfish means. Why? Because you think you are owed this. You are owed nothing, Rogers, not you, not your team. You be heroes for nothing in return, not to be owed favors. You don't see me going up to the president, saying I saved you from AIM terrorist; now, you owe me money, do you?" Tony asked.
"You're rich," Rogers said as Tony rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, and I earned everything. If I was just rich, I would have lost my money making suits that cost billions of dollars and are destroyed every fight. Unlike you, every time I put on the Iron Man suit and go out to fight, I lose billions of dollars. I have to work hard in R&D for Stark Industries to earn enough money back to fund being Iron Man. And let's not forget cleaning up after you children who can't stop doing property damage. You're lucky you're going away for good because if not, you would be ripped open to pay for the damages you will make since Stark Industries dropped funding for your team, Rogers, long ago," Tony said.
"And I don't like being called selfish when it's not true. You left us out of the plan to make it about you and your new team that you're recruiting and replacing us with. And you won't give us the credit," Steve said as Tony shook his head.
"I don't have to talk to you, and by the way, I didn't know Friday was streaming me making the Infinity Stones and bringing everyone back. It's funny, the less selfish person of your team is Mr. Barnes, the man who killed my parents, and he's the only one who isn't caged up because he isn't going to mess with time for selfish purposes. I'm gonna leave you with Strange, and the wizard is a doctor, unlike you. Maybe he can teach you there are rules to be followed and not breaking time or traveling multiverse is one of them," Tony said.
"No, Stark, you can't do this," Rogers said as he was taken away.
Tony turned to Morgan and Peter, who hugged him as Tony smiled. He had both of his kids back and didn't have to fight this time. He did what he said and kept his promise to Pepper, and now there would be no more Iron Man, only Iron Dad.
