Summary
What if Peter snapped instead of Tony. Will he live, will he die? Will he succeed? Will he save the universe?
Note
Hey readers! I got this whole idea for a new fic from a post I read online. I re-watched some scene to get it as accurate as possible and when I was watching the scene where Peter gets dusted and when Peter and Tony reunite I was crying so hard! Hope you enjoy!

Peter stared at the closed phone with disbelief.

He gulped down the stone of saliva in his throat before shoving the device at the stranger who provided it.

He ran without thinking where he was going. Angry tears streamed down his face as his heels hit the ground.

He screeched to a stop when he realised where he was. He was standing outside his building he shared with his aunt.

He opened the door and angrily stomped up the stairs and was outside the door where he heard his aunt hum a happy song. Even though the song was happy, the humming sounded sad.

He knocked three times, each matching his heart beat.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

After a deathly long moment the door creaked open. Standing there was May with her long brown hair tied up into a messy bun. Her eyes widened at the sight of her dead (now not dead) nephew.

“Peter?” May mumbled.

With her shaking hands she lightly touched his face before grabbing him into a fierce hug.

“May, I’m so so sorry.” Peter said into her shoulders, crying.

“How?” May croaked as tears slid down her tired face.

“I don’t know.” He said as they both slid down to the ground.

Together.

May was not planning on letting him go anytime soon.

After a very long while, they hesitantly let go of each other and stumbled into the room.

“Peter, how?”

“I t-think it's my super healing.”

May had an unreadable expression as she locked eyes with her nephew.

“Never do that again. Never leave me again.” She lightly scolded, her voice breaking at the end. Then they both embraced again.

*MEANWHILE*

Tony was sitting stunned.

His fist closed around the phone, his mind racing with questions. He shuffled his way to his basement, which he converted into a lab.

“Fri? Use the voice ID and tell me who called me.” He asked his A.I

“It seems to be Mini-Boss.”

“No. Re-check and tell me.” He refused to believe it.

“Peter Benjamin Parker called.”

The man was about to ask her to do it again, but was interrupted by his phone buzzing.

He looked and he was getting a call from someone alive.

May.

He pressed the green button to be greeted by a teenage voice.

“Mr. Stark?” Not-Peter said.

“Who is this?!”

“I-its P-Peter. Peter Parker.”

“Stop lying Not-Peter and answer my question. Who. The. Hell. Is. This!!”

“M–m-Mr S-S-Stark I’m-m no-t lying.” Not-Peter sobbed.

“Sir the voice ID is concluding it indeed is Peter.” Fri added.

Tony heard someone grabbing the phone.

“Tony? Are you still there? Come to my apartment.” May commanded.

“Wha-”

“Now.” May growled, before disconnecting.

Tony sighed before heading to his car, shaking his head in disbelief the entire time.

How?

It’s not scientifically possible!

Who dares pretend to be Peter!!

Maybe this is all a dream. If I pinch myself… ow.. Never mind. Definitely NOT a dream.

This is all a prank.

Yeah a prank.

Should I tell someone?

What if someone is in danger?

What if I have to fight someone?

What if…

What if…

What if… Peter really IS back from.. from the dead.

Wait, is Peter a zombie?

WAIT what if a zombie apocalypse starts!!!!

He almost drove right by May’s apartment.

He marched up the stairs, sweating. He was not getting any younger.

He made it to the door and knocked to match his racing heart beat.

THUMP!

THUMP!

THUMP!!

Not even a second passed before the door swung open. Tony half-hoped half-expected Peter to stand in the doorway but it was just May.

She tilted her head, indicating him to go inside.

They both sat down on the couches.

“Where is he?” Tony asked, scared for the answer.

“Washroom.” May said, staring at the bathroom door.

After a lifetime of deadly silence the bathroom door opened.

Steady footsteps came towards the living room.

A boy standing in front of the man.

Who looked an awful like Peter Parker.

His Peter Parker.

“No.” Tony grabbed the gun that he hid in his pants and pointed it at Not-Peter.
