Note
Hey readers! I got this whole idea for a new fic from a post I read online. I re-watched some scene to get it as accurate as possible and when I was watching the scene where Peter gets dusted and when Peter and Tony reunite I was crying so hard! Hope you enjoy!

One Snap

“Mr Stark?” Peter breathed, “I don’t feel so good.”

“You're alright.” Tony reassured, knowing it was a lie.

“I don- I don’t know what’s happening.” Peter knew what was happening. Peter hobbled up to the man.

“I don’t understand.” Peter fell into Tony’s arms, hugging on for dear life.

“Mr Stark, I don’t want to go. I don’t want to go. Mr Stark please. Please, I don't want to go. I don’t want to go.” Peter cried.

Peter was on the ground with Tony holding onto his shoulders. Peter stared at the sky. It was a deep shade of orange-ish yellow. Peter locked eyes with his mentor.

Peter whispered, “I’m sorry.”

Then the boy’s world turned black.

Tony shot the aliens coming at him. One big one hit him, making him fly backwards. He turned around and started shooting the big one over and over again, but it just kept coming. The alien was about to stab Tony when familiar sticky webs stuck onto the alien hands and pulled him back. The alien fell to the ground then Ant-Man’s big foot squashed it.

Tony’s nano-tech uncovered his face as a familiar boy in a red suit came towards him. Peter uncovered his face and grabbed the man's arm and helped him up.

“Holy cow, you will not believe what is going on. Do you remember when we were in space?” Peter started, “And I got all dusty, I must have passed out because when I woke up you were gone but Dr. Strange was there, right?”

Tony smiled at the boys rambling he missed.

“He was like ‘It has been five years! Come on, they need us!’ Then he started doing the yellow sparkly thingy he does all the time.” Peter held two of his fingers and made a circle shape showing Dr. Strange’s spell.

Tony could not stop himself; he walked towards Peter and hugged him.

“What are you doing?” Peter asked breathlessly, though Peter knew what Tony was doing.

The boy only hesitated a moment before hugging the man back. Tony hugged Peter tighter.

“Oh, this is nice.” Peter mumbled.

An alien attacked Peter. He used his spider legs to stab the creature. He looked around at the chaos that was unfolding. They lost once before, will they lose again?

Peter felt as if someone was watching him.

He turned around to see Dr. Strange staring sadly at Peter. The boy uncovered his face wondering why the wizard was staring at him.

Dr Strange held up one finger.

One.

One.

One.

One.

One……

“Excuse me?” Mantis started, “But does your friend often do that?”

The group turned to see Dr. Strange's head shake with great speed.

“Strange! You alright?” Tony asked.

The man did not seem to hear Tony’s question. The man walked closer to the floating wizard.

All of a sudden Strange fell to the ground and gave a small yelp.

“You're back, alright.” Tony said as Stephen caught his breath.

“Hey, what was that?” Peter asked.

“I went forward in time to view all the alternate futures, to see all the possible outcomes of the coming conflict.” Strange replied.

“How many did you see?” Quill questioned.

“14,000,605.”

“How many we win?” Tony asked, although he felt like he already knew the answer. Everyone knew the answer before he responded.

“One.”

“One.”

“One.”

“One.”

“One.”

“One.”

Dr. Strange’s voice echoed in Peter’s mind.

Peter nodded.

He knew what he has to do.

Peter reached Thanos as he put the last stone, the Power Stone, on his gauntlet.

The teen grabbed the alien’s glove. He kept pulling and pulling but Thanos’s fat hand made it so the gauntlet did not move.

Of course Peter knew it would not budge. He had a plan.

Spiderman always had a plan.

Thanos punched Peter hard making him fly backwards.

Thanos smiled, “I am inevitable.”

Thanos snapped.

A metal clunking sound greeted him.

He snapped again.

Same sound.

Confused, he turned his hand around to see his gauntlet empty. He turned to see Peter on his knees, the stones crawling up until it reached his hand. Once it did a blast of energy went through the boy.

Sharp white sparks of pain came from Peter’s hands.

He looked straight at the eyes of the alien.

His ears were pounding so loudly it felt as if a drum was beating inside Peter’s mind.

“PETER NO!! DON’T DO IT PETER!! NO!!” He heard a male voice screeched.

He turned to the left where the noise was coming from to see Tony with a beaten up suit run towards the boy.

Tears started to swell up in Peter’s eyes.

“I just wanted to be like you.” Peter said, smiling sadly at Tony.

He turned to glare at Thanos.

Peter moved his middle finger and thumb into position.

Peter inhaled.

SNAP!
