Chapter 3
One month, it's been one month and not even one page had been written. This wasn't acceptable, she could not for the love of all demons believe that she was experencing the hiddeous writers block. She had to do something, make a sacrifice, kill someone for fun, have an exorsism if it was necessary but her novel was not going to finish itself, Viper still had a lot to go through, so it's decided, today was the day for something to change.
-6 Hours later-
Absolutely nothing, even Thing was getting worried at the goth so he did was he had lernt from Enid was expected to do and asked her what was goign on. He walked (If you could call it that) in his fingers towards the black bed where Wednesday had been for the las 45 minutes, staring at the ceiling and lightly tapped her on her shoulder. A few hairs fell on her face as she tilted her head to the side to look at the appendage, giving him her attention.
"I do not know what is wrong with me Thing" She said with a sight, turning her eyes back at the ceiling, not needing to look at him again. "Ever since the fight, I have not been able to formulate a propper thought, every time I try to make my braincells work, they refuse to do so, It is becomeing incredibly upsetting"
Thing, trying to be supportive, put two of his fingers on her upper arm, a gesture of I understand how frustrated you are.
Wednesday tilted her head to the side again, but this time it wasn't to look at Thing, she was looking to the colorful side of the room, Enid hadn't been to the room in over 7 hours, no that she had been counting, but it was weird for the blonde, she usually came by every two hours or so. Maybe that ment that Wednesday hat to get out of the room for a bit, take some fresh air, maybe she would come across the girl of her current thoughts.
Grabbing a dark coat, because even if she was a person of the cold, she did not intend to get sick any time soon, she headed to the patio, maybe a walk in the woods would do her some good.
Enid had been in Yoko's room all day, she was definetly not trying to avoid Wednesday and that's why they were currently in this situation.
"Pup, I love you and all but you are not sleeping here, so, whatever it is the reason why you are avoiding the sociopath, you are goning to have to fix it, so grab your big dog balls and go to your room to talk" Yoko said, she loved her best friend, truly, but the had been together all day and it was becomeing pretty clear the wolf's intentions, so she knew her friend needed a little push.
"I'm not avoiding her, it's just, she's been different, and not in a bad way, but I don't know if this is her truly or if she is just being nice to me because I saved her life. I want her to be like this with me because she really feels like it" Her doubts were true, maybe all this nice facade was just a thank you behavior and nothing else. Now, about why she wanted her to be like this? Well let me tell you.
Enid knew two important thing right now. One: werewolves felt every little thing ten times stronger than humans, their hearing, theis sense of smell, and their emotions and that was on a day to day basis. Of course, there were moments when this was even stronger, such as the full moons, their heats and when they shifted for the first time. And two: she had never in her life felt anything like this for someone else, so protective, so caring, and so so needy, not with Ajax, not with Yoko, not one single person in her life had made her feel like she felt with Wednesday.
Now, she was a new wolf, yes, she had little to no experience with this, but she had been a teenager for almost four years now and she was not clueless to emotions, so when the first thought of falling in love with your roomate came to mind, she knew she was lost. She had been thinking about it ever since Wednesday first looked at her scars, touched them so lightly that it was almost imperceptible, withm so much love in her dark eyes that Enid felt she could get lost in them. Everything after that moment had just been the same, Wednesday beeing soft, loving and Enid getting more confused by the second, although savouring every moment like it was the last.
So, how do you face the person who you are in love with, but is emotionally dense and has close to zero experience with human relationships? Well, no one knows apparently, so her only option was just to go back to her room and pretend like nothing is happening.
Enid came to a stop at the door of their room, not really knowing what to say on why she had been avoiding the other girl all day, and to be true, all week. Maybe she should just run to the middle of the woods and sleep there for the next two months, avoid all interaction and become a creature of the woods, a colorful one at least.
But no, eventually she was gonna have to talk about it with Wednesday, the tension between the two was steppping into uncomfortable and she would not have that, ont after all the progress she had done with the girl.
So with a deep breath, and a low "come on" whispered to herself, she pushed the big wooden door into the room.
"Wends?" She called as soon as she didn't spotted the raven. When there was no answer, she looked in the bathroom, nothing.
"Well maybe she went to the cafeteria or something, Enid said to herself. She decided to get into some comfortable clothes and plopped on her bed, headphones in hand and her laptop. Maybe a good nigth of gossip and music could help her clear some thoughts.
The cold wind and the rustling of the leaves with every step she took had some type of calming effect on her, she had to admit that her shoulders felt a little lighter. Still, nothing could help her understand her feelings for the blonde. She had come to that conclusion, she had feelings for the girl, not sure which ones, but that was a step. Wednesday knew she wasn't the best in that subject, or good at all for that matter, but something in her told her that if she didn't try to figure this out, she would somehow lose her only friend, and that mad her guts twist in a very uncomfortable way.
So, thinking back to her interactions with every kid in the school, she could easily point the differences, where she didn'l let anyone touch her in any way, Enid had touched her all the time, and she didn't pushed her away. When not one person dared to scold her when she said something out of line, Enid would instantly correct her, and she let her. The way they protected eachother, It didn't happend with anyone else, she may have jumped in front of an arrow directed towards Xavier, but she would that and much more for Enid, the way she wolfed outand fought a Hyde to save her.
Of course she saw what was there, It was just like her parents, the always talked about how they would die for eachother, and kill and so much more, she never understood it, it felt foreign to her that feeling of doing so much for one person, in her mind no one should be like that but she felt that with Enid now, and once that conclusion sat with her for the las hundred feet before she stopped in her tracks, it was the scariest thing she had ever felt.
So, she was in love, she was in love and it made sense, where she was all dark and gloomy, Enid was all bright and cheerful, where she apreciated death, the other girl loved life and colour, where she had almost no feelings, Enid wore her heart in her sleeve. The were the complete opposit. The sun and the moon, they complimented eachother, and that was all she needed to turn right back and go to her room, in hopes of finding said girl there.
