You're not the real villain of this movie
Summary
Basically what if Amber survives Scream 5, based on the original script only here Jill babysat Amber and not Liv. Gale is a mother hen with her survivor chicks, never mind that they are 30 and a gun."I think you all know Jill, right?" Amber calls everyone's attention in the kitchen."It's impossible," Sidney says, maybe delirious from the loss of blood. How is her cousin still alive? The girl looked older with some scars on her face, her hair was now blonde, but other than that, she had the same psychopathic look on her face."Surprise, Sidney," Jill uses the Ghostface voice changer, giving the woman deja vu of Mickey and Stu when they revealed themselves as the killers. "Welcome to the real Act 3. I'm sorry for the trouble of that idiot, I got bored of his monologue too, it seemed like it was never going to end. It really felt good to kill him."I only want Amber in Scream 6.

This is my first time writing a Scream fanfiction, leave your comments to know if I managed to capture something of the essence of the characters. English is not my first language so sorry for the translation.

Surprise, Sidney

"Hey Tara!"

"You're alive!"

"How are you, Tara?"

The shouts and applause of welcome began when the sea of drunken teenagers saw the girl of the moment arrive at Amber's party. Obviously, they were happy that their friend survived after the attacks. Not many have that luck in Woodsboro.

Sam rolls her eyes as Tara is immediately swarmed by sympathizers asking if she's okay, how she's feeling, etc. Sam and Richie try to help Tara navigate through the crowd.

"We don't have time for this," says the eldest Carpenter with frustration. She just wanted to get her sister's inhaler and disappear from that damn town as soon as possible. It didn't help that Tara was trying to be friendly with the rest of the kids surrounding her, She was only delaying them from their main objective.

"Can everyone please back away from my girlfriend?! Make some space!" shouted the host of the house from the stairs. Sam was a little surprised by the recent update on her little sister's relationship with the girl who seemed to hate her since she was a child. Really, a lot had changed since she left.

Amber, surprised to see her girlfriend out of the hospital, rushes down the stairs as fast as she can and clears the people away from Tara.

She reaches her and they hug.

"What are you doing outside the hospital? Shouldn't you be up and walking around?"

"I needed to come get my necklace and inhaler," Tara responds, somewhat tired but happy to at least see her girlfriend before leaving. She didn't want to leave without saying goodbye.

"Why? Are you going somewhere?" Tara looks at her, agonizing over not being able to speak. She promised her sister she wouldn't tell where they were going.

Amber clearly notices that her girlfriend is holding back information, and she doesn't blame her. After all, everyone at the party is a suspect. "No, you know what, don't tell me. I understand. Stay safe. It's in my room. I just want to talk to you alone for a second before you go."

"Absolutely not," Sam intervenes. She wasn't going to let Tara go alone with Amber, girlfriend or not. She doesn't trust her, in fact, she doesn't trust anyone right now.

Amber turns to her. "I'm glad you've finally decided to take your duties as a sister seriously, but we've been together for over a year."

"Congratulations, I'll buy you a cake. We have to go."

"Sam, please..." Tara pleads with her typical unintentional puppy-dog face.

Sam exhales, assuming that if her sister trusted the other girl with something as important as her father's necklace, then she could give her the benefit of the doubt, but she still wasn't going to leave them alone.

"Okay, but I'm coming with you. Where's your bedroom?"

"At the back," the dark-haired girl looks around at the party-goers. "Thanks for coming, but the party's over! It's time for everyone to leave!"

The party-goers boo the hostess's announcement profusely. But still, they don't go anywhere. Sam looks at Richie for help.

"Could you...?"

"Attention teenagers! Sam and Tara have been attacked by the killer twice now and are here, which makes this house a big target! So, you should all fuck off!"

The general murmurs among the teenagers begin to grow, Richie made a solid point, so many begin to move towards the exits. Sam looks at Richie, who mimes taking off his hat before following Tara and Amber towards the back of the house.

Soon the three girls stop at the last door on the second floor. "I just want to talk to her alone for two minutes."

"Why?" the older girl asks, not seeing why there's so much insistence.

"Because I love her and you're clearly taking her away from me," Amber maintains eye contact with Sam, the other girl since she met her, she believes for the first time she's seeing sincerity in her eyes.

"Okay. Two minutes, I'll be standing right outside this door. Shout if you need anything," She said yo Tara, as she closed the door leaving her sister in the hallway.

Without wasting any time, Amber leaned in to kiss her girlfriend in a loving and needy way. Tara tried to get closer, but her crutches were a big obstacle. She wished she could just stay there.

"Baby...we don't have...much time," Tara said between kisses, letting out a small moan when Amber began to suck on her lower lip.

Amber gently placed her hands on the younger girl's cheeks, and Tara could see the concern filling her eyes. "Babe, you shouldn't have left the hospital," said Amber. Having the younger Carpenter sister on stage for Act 3 was not part of the plan. Tara was supposed to be knocked out by painkillers in the hospital.

"I know you're worried, but I'm fine and Sam will take care of me. Trust her," Tara reassured her.

"No, Tara, you don't understand," Amber knew that Richie must be executing the next part of the plan at that moment. Mindy was probably bleeding out on the couch, and Amber needed to come up with a new strategy to keep her girlfriend alive. She had already saved her twice, but she knew her chances of saving her a third time were slim. Sam was foolish to bring her sister here.

"I don't understand what?" Tara was starting to get scared.

Before Amber could explain, a piercing scream came from downstairs, both turned towards the noise and rushed out. When they reached the first floor, they found Sam with blood-covered hands pressing the wounds of an unconscious Mindy.

"What did you do?!" Amber asks, following the plan, keeping up appearances for a few more moments.

"I didn't do anything! Why did you close the door?"

"We were saying goodbye," Tara notes that's not a sufficient excuse for her sister. "We were kissing!"

Amber runs towards Mindy, trying to wake her up. "Oh my god, oh my god. She's dying."

"What the hell?!" Richie reappears from the nearby door that leads to the basement, dropping his beer, causing a mess of glass and beer on the floor.

"Stay back!" Amber warns him.

"Where the hell were you?" Sam asks angrily.

"I went to the basement for a beer," Amber has to admit, the idiotic boy improved his acting.

"You went to the basement alone?"

"I asked her to come with me, she said no!"

The sound of the front door startles everyone, turning to the sound to see Liv running in fear.

"Guys, we have to... Oh my god!" Liv is on the verge of a mental breakdown, first she found Chad stabbed in the yard, and now her boyfriend's sister is bleeding out on the living room floor.

"To hell with you, stay back," Amber says when Liv tries to reach her and Mindy.

"Oh Jesus! Oh Jesus Christ!" cries the girl with pink hair, this was a shitty night, the worst night of her damn fucking life.

Amber takes advantage of the situation to increase tension among everyone. "I was with Tara, but the rest of you were wandering around somewhere. One of you is the damn killer!"

"Screw you, Amber," Liv couldn't believe her friend was seriously accusing her of being the killer.

"Why do you have blood on your hands?" Sam asks suspiciously, the girl with pink hair has her hands covered in blood, with doubt planted, Amber moves away from Liv, putting Tara behind her, protecting her from what's to come.

"I found Chad dead," the girl cries as the image of her stabbed boyfriend's body invades her mind. "I slipped on him."

"You're lying!" shouted the black-haired girl, putting a protective arm around her girlfriend, while she grips Dewey's gun in her back pocket.

Liv panics, the blood on her doesn't look good, but she could never murder someone, let alone the person she loved. "No! No! We have to call the police!" The redhead takes out her phone nervously, but her hands are slippery with blood, and the trembling doesn't help much, so she drops it on the floor.

"Liv," Amber tries to get the attention of the girl who is now crouched down trying to retrieve her phone.

"We have to call them, so they can come here and see for themselves," the girl, still with trembling fingers, tries to call emergency services.

"Liv, just stop!"

"Fuck you, Amber, I'm not the fucking killer!"

"I know." Amber pulls the gun out of her pocket and shoots the girl in the head, her brain splattering on the bookstore shelves. Liv's body crashes to the ground, as everyone stands in shock. Amber feigns a smile, getting into character. It was time to become her favorite character, Stu Macher. "Welcome to the act three." The girl points the gun at Sam.

"Run."

Richie grabs Sam and pushes her through the kitchen door. Bullets pierce through the wall behind them as Tara attacks her girlfriend, deflecting her aim. Sam grabs a knife from the knife block on the island, before Richie pushes her towards the garage door.

Amber begins to defend herself from her girlfriend's punches. Tara was obviously angry; she couldn't blame her for killing one of her friends in front of her and attacking her twice. "Baby, stop. I'm not going to hurt you."

Tara didn't know what to do, she just kept hitting her with her crutch until Amber immobilized her. "Let me go."

"Tara, calm down!" The girl exerted a little more pressure on her grip, still trying to avoid hurting her any further. Tara notices how Amber genuinely panics when she hears someone entering from the back door. "I'll explain everything later, but I have to get you out of here."

"I'm not going anywhere with you." The shorter girl struggles when her girlfriend lifts her and starts dragging her away from the two bodies on the ground.

"You have to come with me. If she sees you... I won't be able to save you again." Amber gives Tara a pleading look. The footsteps are getting closer to the entrance, so the black-haired girl acts as quickly as possible, lifting Tara up in a bridal carry. Both of their hearts are racing uncontrollably.

Tara doesn't know who her girlfriend is so afraid of; Amber wasn't a girl who let anything or anyone break her. The black-haired girl leaves the younger Carpenter in the closet, it was the first hiding spot she saw. If it worked in Stab 1, it might also work in its sequel.

Amber carefully ties up her girlfriend. Tara was a very stubborn person; she had to make sure she wouldn't leave that safe place. "I'm sorry, love, but you'll be safe here." The black-haired girl quickly kisses the brunette before covering her mouth with duct tape. "Don't make any noise, you don't want her to find you. It will all be over soon."

Tara watches as her girlfriend pulls out the Ghostface tunic and mask from behind some boxes in the closet. She should have known; she accompanied Amber to buy the damn costume three years ago for a Halloween party. She didn't know that her obsession with Stab was so great that it would lead her to try to replicate it all in real life. It seems like something directly out of the saga. As soon as the other girl closed the door and left her in the dark, she heard someone else arrive in the room.

"I see you already have your uniform," Tara hears a woman speak. "I came from the hospital, apparently your little girlfriend discharged herself."

"Don't worry about that, I took care of her."

"And... What about your idiot accomplice?"

"He's with Sam, he doesn't suspect that he's a pawn in your real plan."

Tara sees through the small crack in the door as the woman approaches her girlfriend. "I'm proud of you, my little ghost, you've done a good job."

A car stops at the entrance, which makes both women return to action to complete the plan. "I think we have company."

"Carry on with the plan, I'll see you at the plot twist of the reveal."

Tara can't see anything anymore, only the light from outside that passes under the door. She was very confused; there was only one person who called Amber "Little ghost," and as far as she knows, she's supposed to be dead for eleven years. There was no fucking way her girlfriend's former nanny was still alive.

Amber screams and stumbles out of the house, pretending to press a large, bleeding wound on her side. Sidney and Gale observe her silently, deciding if she's a threat or not.

"Help me!... He stabbed me..." The girl falls to her knees, screaming in pain. Gale starts to advance, but Sidney grabs her arm and stops her.

"It's a trap," says the survivor woman with great certainty.

Amber abruptly stops screaming and raises her weapon. "Fuck this."

Gale receives a bullet to the stomach. Sidney dives behind her friend's car and returns fire. The teenager retreats, shooting wildly, in a big, careless shootout. Windows shatter, and wood chips scatter throughout the room.

Amber manages to enter and slams the door. Sidney keeps her eyes on the door as she walks crouched toward Gale, who is pressing her gunshot wound.

Inside the house, Sam follows the blood trail through the master bedroom to the closet at the other end of the room. The girl crawls towards it, puts one hand on the door, and lifts her knife with the other...

She opens the door. Tara is on the ground, tied up and gagged, her eyes wide with fear.

"Tara..." Sam says, relieved to see that her sister is still alive, and quickly kneels down. Tara lifts her tied wrists so the girl can cut the rope. The elder Carpenter sister prepares to cut it, but stops. Uncertainty fills her face. Could her sister really be the other killer?

Tara looks at Sam, pleading...

Upstairs in the house, Amber, now dressed as Ghostface, emerges from the room behind Sidney and knocks her to the ground. Sid's weapon flies out of her hand and lands at the bottom of the stairs.

"HOLY SHIT, IT'S GHOSTFACE!" Richie screams.

Sidney and Amber Ghostface fight for dominance. It's a street fight, but Sid knows many moves. She drops and uses the killer's momentum to throw him against the railing.

Amber crashes through the railing, going over the edge and disappearing from view. Sidney cautiously approaches the hole, unexpectedly grabbed by Ghostface, who's hanging on the ledge. She falls, dragging Sidney with her.

Both hit the floor of the front foyer, losing their breath. Sidney gasps and struggles to speak. "Richie... gun... get the gun..."

Richie limps as fast as he can towards the stairs. "It's a little hard since you shot me in the leg!"

Richie runs limping up the stairs. Ghostface crawls towards the gun. It's a race where the boy almost makes it, but a third person arrives first. Sam takes the gun as her boyfriend comes up behind her.

"Shoot him," the woman ordered.

Richie feigns relief at seeing his girlfriend. "Thank God you're okay..."

Sam aims the gun at Ghostface's head, pulls the trigger. Before she can shoot, Richie stabs her in the side.

"Because I really wanted to be the one to kill you." The brunette looks at him in disbelief. She sinks to her knees.

Ghostface takes off the mask, revealing Amber. Bravo . Richie leans down next to Sam. He takes the gun from her gently and gives it to his accomplice.

"I know. It sucks that it's me," the man lifts Ghostface's voice changer. "But it's really the best twist for the movie."

The eldest Carpenter looks in horror at the man she loved. She feels utterly betrayed. What were the chances that her boyfriend would be a psychopath just like his father? "No," Sam wants to force herself to believe that this isn't real.

"Yes. I'm sorry."

"This isn't... a fucking movie..." The brunette spits.

The man considers Sam's words. "No. But it will be. And that's the point, right, Amber?"

"Of course, honey." Amber feigns interest in the boy; she honestly finds him disgusting and would never sleep with him. It was torture to seduce him, but she needed him for the plan. Fortunately, men like Richie only think with what's inside their pants. It only took a couple of revealing photos and making him believe that this was all his idea, and she manipulated him perfectly. "Third act bloodbath, check. Killers revealed, check... It's time for the grand finale. Let's take them to the kitchen."

The raven-haired woman forces Sidney to stand up, pushing her with the gun while Richie takes the bleeding Sam.

"Look, no one's made a good Stab movie since the first one. Actually, no, and this latest one? Jesus Christ. Talk about a "fuck you" to the fans." Richie begins his monologue.

Sidney sinks into a chair while Amber points a gun at her.

"After all we've given to this franchise, they're gonna make it three killers? No inherited characters? Some fucking Mary Sue who apparently can whip the ass of a 200-pound guy with no training? We deserve better."

Amber explodes. "It's like Rian Johnson didn't even try!"

"Exactly, baby. You wanna go get her?" The girl hands the gun to the man and leaves. Richie turns to Sidney, suddenly shy. "I know you probably get this a lot, but I'm a big fan."

"Fuck you," Sid says hostilely.

"Aw. Well, you know what they say: 'never meet your heroes.' Did you see the last Stab movie?"

"I'm not a big horror movie fan..."

Richie laughs. "Fair enough. Anyway, it sucked balls. I mean, the whole StabHead community online was freaking out about this piece of shit. Some of those 4Chan losers tried to write petitions, do a Kickstarter to reshoot the movie." The guy talks with genuine concern; it's clear that his fandom has messed with his head. "But Amber and I knew petitions weren't gonna work. Nobody takes the true fans seriously anymore, not really. They just laugh at us, and why? Because we love something special. We're just a joke to them! I mean, how can fandom be toxic? It's about love! They don't understand shit! These movies are important to people!"

"Richie..." Sam tries to snap him out of his delusion.

"Hollywood is completely out of ideas, so we realized we needed to give them some new source material to work with, to get back to basics! That's how you make a great Stab movie, Sam! Based on real events!"

Amber re-enters with her crazy and childish vibe learned from Stu, smiling and dragging a severely injured Gale. "Too bad no one reads books anymore." The girl practically throws the journalist onto a chair, mocking her. "They'll have to choose the list over this for the movie. 15 fun facts about the house where Buzzfeed found Gale Weathers dead."

Sidney runs to her friend with an involuntary protective instinct. "Are you okay?" Gale is not okay, she is pale, bleeding. Her eyes can barely focus on anything. Amber roughly grabs Sidney, shaking the knife.

"Sorry, Sidney, but we were in the middle of explaining our damn incredible plan. We worked really hard on this!" Amber pushes Sid against the island.

Sam, holding the knife wound next to the sink, stares at Richie with a look of hatred. "Did you do all of this... just to turn me into the hero of your fucking movie?"

"Oh, honey. You're not the hero. You're the villain. The daughter of Billy Loomis who sees fucked up visions of her dead father?" The boy points to Sidney with his knife. "Sidney Prescott killed your father and your grandmother. You did all of this just to bring her back to Woodsboro."

Sam and Sidney look at each other. Amber laughs. Sam signals to Sidney with her eyes: the block of knives on the kitchen island.

"Look, you know what the biggest problem with Stab movies is?" The teenager holds up the Ghostface mask. "There's no Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, no bad guy to keep coming back. Every time it has to be a new idiot in a Ghostface mask with increasingly ridiculous reasons for committing a series of anonymous grisly murders. But the illegitimate daughter of the original mastermind? Now that's a damn villain!"

"It was so perfect, it almost felt like a real-life retcon!" Richie looks at the surviving woman. "And to think: if you had just opened your legs for Billy before, like he wanted, Sam wouldn't even exist!" The boy pretends to explode his head with his hands.

"How did you know?"

With Richie and Amber's attention back on Sam, Sidney approaches the island. The women, working together.

"On your father? It's a small town. My uncle went to school with all of them, knew Billy was banging your mom behind Sid's back. Do a little math that adds up to nine months...bingo." The girl gives her accomplice a fake smile. "I met Richie on Reddit. StabHead sub fan. I've been obsessed since my parents bought this house. We quickly realized we had similar ideas."

Richie smiles at Sam. "It wasn't that hard for me to find you in Modesto. It wasn't that hard to fuck you either. But I guess being a sexually available woman is supposed to empower these days."

"Fuck you."

"Now you're just quoting the original."

Sidney is closer to the island. Amber and Richie don't seem to have noticed. The woman tenses, getting ready to make her move.

"But it wouldn't work with just you, Sam. Look, you have to bring back the legacy characters for it to matter. You can't have a goodwill Halloween without Jamie Lee. Dewey had to die to make it happen, to prove this wasn't a shitty sequel. Our movie has fucking stakes." Amber smiles in a deranged way, Sid is starting to believe this girl might be something of Stu's. "Because anyone can die in a re-quel."

Just as Sidney jumps to grab a knife, Amber turns around and stabs Sidney in the stomach.

"No!" Sam and Gale shout at the same time.

Sam rushes to help Sidney, but Richie hits her in the back with the weapon. The woman falls to her knees. With her hands full of blood as she tries to hold them to the wound. Richie looks at her, almost as if he's delivering bad news to a child.

"I'm so sorry... but we can't let you live either, Sid. Surviving so many times would just be ridiculous. This time, the fans will be the ones who win. Does that cover everything?"

"Nailed it, baby." Amber was grateful that the stupid monologue finally ended, this is the signal to execute the real plan.

"Go get Tara out of the closet. We have to stage the bodies," Richie orders. "You should have listened to Dewey. Always be wary of love interests."

Sam lunges towards the block of knives. Putting her hand on the closest one. Her obviously ex-boyfriend hits her with the gun again, throwing her against the wall.

The girl groans, holding onto her knife wound. Richie moves his thumb back on the handle of the knife, annoyed.

"Nice try. But the villain has to die in the end, Sam. There are rules. Jesus, I even convinced you I could be your sister..." He smiles at the idea, thinking he's the person who has power over everyone in this act. The boy is so into his monologue and role that he doesn't realize Amber hasn't moved to bring Tara, nor does he realize a new Ghostface figure appears behind him.

"You're right, the villain must die in the end. Unfortunately for you, you're not the real villain of this movie," Richie doesn't have time to react, as soon as he turns around, he's stabbed in the stomach.

The three women on the floor were completely surprised, but this is not the first time a Ghostface has betrayed another.

"But...my movie," Richie says with difficulty, blood pooling in his mouth.

"You're so pathetic, Richie. Who the hell cares about movies?" Amber stabs Richie in the back. "Did you really think my motive was a damn movie? We just needed you to find Sam, it wasn't that hard to manipulate you into doing everything we wanted, and since you're a potential pedophile, it was enough for someone like me to pretend to be interested in you to have you in the palm of our hand."

Ghostface kicks Richie and he falls with a dull thud. Amber hands the weapon to her true accomplice. "Thanks for your cooperation, Richard, but you're no longer needed for Act 3, Part 2." The killer removes the mask, revealing Jill Roberts, and everyone is stunned that they didn't even react when Richie received a shot in the forehead.

"I think you all know Jill, right?" Amber calls everyone's attention in the kitchen.

"It's impossible," Sidney says, maybe delirious from the loss of blood. How is her cousin still alive? The girl looked older with some scars on her face, her hair was now blonde, but other than that, she had the same psychopathic look on her face.

"Surprise, Sidney," Jill uses the Ghostface voice changer, giving the woman deja vu of Mickey and Stu when they revealed themselves as the killers. "Welcome to the real Act 3. I'm sorry for the trouble of that idiot, I got bored of his monologue too, it seemed like it was never going to end. It really felt good to kill him."

"At least you didn't receive his constant nudes, it's because of guys like him that I became a lesbian," Amber's attitude was different, no longer crazy and childish, but cold and calculating with the same humor as Jill. "I mean, why would I sleep with him? When I have Tara, she's definitely sexier than any guy. I really admire you, Sam, it takes courage to get involved with someone like him."

"Fuck you, Amber," Sam flips her off in anger.

"My little ghostie, you're rambling, save it for later," Jill hands her the weapon.

"Sorry, Jilly."

"She'll shoot if you move, you may look injured, but don't underestimate them," Jill wasn't going to make the same mistake twice.

The blonde returned as fast as she could, dragging Tara with her, it wasn't difficult to catch her again when her sister untied her. Amber had to keep her composure when she saw Jill throw her girlfriend with force next to Sam, Tara cried a little, the pain in her wounds increased with the fall.

"Okay, let's make this quick. We have little time before the police arrive," Jill says, retrieving the weapon from her accomplice's hands. "I know you're all wondering how you're alive, well, it's not that hard to fake your death in prison if you have the necessary contacts."

"What's your motive now, Jill? Being a TikToker?" Gale asks.

"Really, now I just want revenge."

"And what's the motive of your pet?" Sid spits blood.

"Don't underestimate her, cousin. I've been training her since she was a baby," Jill strokes Amber's hair and gives her a slow kiss on the edge of her jaw. "Being her babysitter during the summer wasn't as bad as I thought. She learns quickly, and I have to say, adolescence suits her well. Don't you think so, Tara?"

Tara doesn't respond because she still has a tape over her mouth. She just glares at Jill angrily and tries to lunge at the blonde, but she's stopped by Sam.

"She's got guts. I see why you like Amber," Jill smiles smugly. "Sweetie, do you want to tell our audience your true motive?"

"Revenge."

"Why?" Jill asks again.

"Because they took you away from me," Amber answers as if the responses were programmed. "Sidney, Gale, and Dewey hurt you, just like Sam hurt Tara."

"Exactly, and if we eliminate them, they'll never hurt what you love again."

"Don't listen to her, Amber. She's going to betray you," Sid tries to persuade the girl. She knows they're screwed. The only way they'll get out of there alive is if she manages to turn Amber against her cousin. It's clear that she's been manipulating her for a long time. She did the same with Charlie, but this time it was deeper. "If you don't believe me, ask her what she did to Charlie."

"Don't listen to her, baby. She wants to play with your mind."

"Shut up!" Amber kicks the woman. "Jilly is the only person who loves me for who I am. She helped me find my true self."

"No, girl. She's just playing with you," Gale says, joining Sid's plan. "She made you kill the people who really loved you."

"That's not true."

"She killed her best friend, her boyfriend, and her mom. Why do you think it'll be different with you?" Sam intervenes, trying to get closer to her sister to remove the tape. Maybe only she can make her see the reality that is Jill. "She'll discard you just like she did with Charlie."

"I love you, I've already shown you," Jill says. "I killed for you." The blonde takes Amber's chin with her free hand so that she can look her in the eyes, with the other still pointing the gun.

"I know."

"I'm the only thing you need, no one else. Not even Tara, she doesn't love this part of you, she's afraid of it, afraid of you, even though you did most of it for her. I'm the only one who loves you, understand? Everyone else is a fake who will never understand you." Amber nods her head slowly with her gaze on the floor. "Now the question here is...do you love me?"

"Of course, I do."

"Will you kill for me?"

"Of course, I will."

"So prove it, my little ghost, prove that you're not hesitating. Kill for me," Jill lightly brushed her lips against Amber's. Tara didn't know how to feel, aside from the fact that the status of her relationship with the raven-haired girl was inconclusive due to everything that was happening, she didn't like seeing Jill in that way with Amber. There was obviously some kind of grooming going on. Tara knew that Jill was very special to her girlfriend, she made her feel welcome and safe when she first moved to the town, she was her first friend, made her feel special and gave her all the attention that her shitty parents never gave her, which is why she also had a little childhood crush on her. When Jill supposedly died, Amber fell into depression, she didn't play with the other kids, didn't speak, didn't smile, she never became the same again, that's when they became friends and Amber started to smile again.

The raven-haired girl nods and starts walking towards Sidney with her knife in hand.

"Not her, honey, she's mine," the blonde points to Tara, Amber's heart starts beating faster, she had wanted to delay that moment.

"That's not part of the deal, I killed Liv and Sheriff Judy as you asked, but not Tara. I told you she survives."

"We can't leave any witnesses."

"Jilly, please no," Amber pleads, her eyes beginning to feel teary. "Not her."

"I'll do it if you don't and I promise I'll do it very slowly," Jill warns, she knows very well that Tara was always a threat from the beginning, she only let her live until now to fulfill Amber's whim and not jeopardize the plan.

"Can I say goodbye?" the girl asks in a small voice.

"Make it quick."

Sam tries to stand in front of her sister, seeking to protect her, but was thrown far away by Jill. "No, no, no. Amber, don't do it," the brunette pleads with difficulty, she's already losing a lot of blood, she doesn't know how much longer she has to stay conscious.

Amber crouches down to Tara's level, the girl is crying, she's very scared. "I told you, you should have stayed in the hospital, Ta." The girl carefully removes the tape, then places her hand tenderly on her girlfriend's cheek. "Now I can't save you."

"Please Amber, I don't want to die," Tara's voice sounds broken, she wasn't ready to die, especially not at the hands of someone she loves so much. "You can still stop all of this."

"I can't."

"You know she doesn't love you, love shouldn't be conditional. Kill me if you need it, but I won't fight you," Gale and Sidney couldn't believe that the youngest Carpenter was laughing. Amber used her right hand to point the knife near Tara's abdomen. "Just remember, she would never die for you, but I would. I love you."

Amber joined their foreheads and both closed their eyes before kissing goodbye, the kiss tasted salty due to their tears, Tara's lips were sensitive due to the tape, but it was still a kiss that took their breath away. The brunette sighed in relief when she felt the knife cut her restraints.

"I would die for you too," Amber whispered against Tara's lips, the other girl couldn't help but smile, she hadn't lost her Amber completely. Sidney and Gale saw and heard everything, so they were preparing for a final fight, waiting for the girl's next move.

"Amber, if you don't stop kissing her now, I swear I'll shoot you!" Jill shouted impatiently, growing desperate as it was only a matter of seconds before she started shooting everyone in the kitchen.

"I'm sorry." Amber tightened her grip on the knife handle. Tara's words sounded more genuine than the blonde's; there was no malice behind them, as there always had been since they met. Without thinking, she lunged at Jill, tackling her to get her away from Sam.

Soon, a fight for the firearm ensued. The struggle was intense and brutal, with punches and kicks thrown in all directions.

Sid and Gale Weathers entered the fray, trying to take control of the situation. But chaos reigned and the fight continued, growing increasingly violent.

In the midst of the chaos, the gun went off, causing a deafening roar. Amber staggered back, her hand covering her stomach as blood began to gush from a bullet wound.

Amber fell to the ground, feeling her wound burning. She didn't want to die; panic began to overwhelm her as she started breathing rapidly, feeling her lungs heavy. Tara and Sam dragged the girl away from the fight.

"This hurts more than I thought it would," Amber said in pain as Tara applied pressure to her wound.

"Hold on, you'll be okay," Tara said, trying to calm the girl and herself.

Sidney grabbed Jill from behind and slammed her forehead into the kitchen island. Jill's agitated hand dropped the gun to the ground.

Jill retaliated by slamming her head back into Sid's face. Blood gushed from Sidney's nose as she staggered back. Jill grabbed a knife from the block, screaming as she advanced with it raised.

"I'm going to kill you!" the blonde screamed with hatred.

Gale's hand caught Jill's arm. "I don't think so." The reporter punched the blonde in the stomach. Jill doubled over, and Sidney kneed her in the face.

Jill backed away as her cousin grabbed a glass bottle from the counter and smashed it into her face. She screamed, trying to wipe the viscous, stinging contents from her eyes.

"Damn, is that hand sanitizer?"

She dropped the knife, howling, trying to remove the gel from her eyes. Gale threw her to the ground. She and Sidney stood over Jill.

"I'm really going to enjoy this," her cousin said.

"Not as much as I will," the reporter assured her. Sidney and Gale proceeded to assault Jill with brutal De Niro kicks ruthless.

Jill stabbed a fallen fork into Sidney's foot. Sid screamed, kneeling down to remove it. Her cousin slammed her head against a cabinet. The woman collapsed, dazed. As Gale stabbed downward, Jill pushed her thumb into Gale's bullet hole, the knife sinking into the blonde's shoulder. Both women screamed.

In an instant, Jill had the upper hand over Gale. She had her pinned to the ground, hands wrapped around her throat. "I was also the last thing Dewey saw before he died. I can't believe I killed both of them."

Gale looked at Sidney, who was still on the ground, semi-conscious.

"No one will save you at the last minute this time. Your story has ended. It's time to pass the torch."

Gale groans in pain. "It's all yours, bitch."

The reporter pulls Jill's face towards hers and slams her forehead into her nose. The blonde is pushed back against the stove, spinning, her hip jumping over the burners.

"You want to do the honors?" Sidney asks her friend. She's fully regained her senses.

Gale retrieves the gun and tosses it to Sid. "No. She's all yours."

Sidney shoots her cousin in the chest three times, throwing her backwards onto the lit stove. The hand sanitizer covering her arms and face ignites. She screams as the flames consume her, thrashing from side to side. Slowly, finally, her legs stop kicking.

Sidney and Gale watch as Jill burns. "Enjoy that torch," the surviving woman shoots the blonde in the head, ensuring she won't return.

As they return to the Carpenter sisters, they see them trying to keep Amber conscious.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," the girl says when she sees Sid and Gale. "I didn't kill Dewey, but I did kill the Sheriff and Kirby's niece. Could you kill me quickly?"

The veteran women look at each other, this has never happened to them before. Amber was just a girl who had the misfortune of meeting Jill and falling into her games. Sidney looks at her friend and nods. "We're not going to kill you, Amber. You'll have to live with your mistakes and pay for what you did with the authorities."

Amber chokes a little on the blood beginning to accumulate in her mouth, it's fair, it's better than dying, no doubt. "I feel tired, Tara."

"Hey, no, no, no, no, no. Keep your eyes open, help is coming," Tara cries, not wanting to lose her. "Look at me, okay? I forgive you, but please stay."

"I forgive you too," Sam says, knowing what it's like to have someone in your head constantly telling you to hurt people, she knows that at some point anyone can succumb, she can't imagine what it's like to have a real person with that degree of manipulation over her.

The police and ambulances arrive a couple of minutes later. It turned out that Chad and Mindy had survived the stabbings, Tara was taken back to treat the reopened wounds, while Amber was taken to emergency surgery, if they had arrived three minutes later, the girl would have died of blood loss.

"Can I ask you something?" Sam turns to Sidney.

"Sure."

"Are we going to be okay?"

"Eventually."

Gale nods her head. Sam looks past Sidney to see Billy reflected in the mirror of a police car. He nods towards Sam. The expression of a proud father on his face. "You did well, kid."

Sam pulls her pills out of her pocket. This particular struggle is ongoing. The girl limps back to Tara as they help her into the ambulance. Sam climbs in behind her.

"Don't worry, your girlfriend will be fine, and I'll hold your hand all the way. I'm not going to let go of you anymore," Tara smiles, finally having her sister back and hopefully soon getting her girlfriend back.

The doors are closed. The ambulance turns on its sirens and drives away from the property. A reporter begins her live coverage.

"Twenty-five years ago, almost to the day, a tragic story ended in this same house. Tonight, Jill Roberts brought a new chapter of killings that fortunately came to an end…"
