Summary
Otto jumped off the bridge, letting himself sink deep into the river.Norman wasn’t going to lose him again.
Note
I’m sorry, so sorry…No I’m not.

Tears fell down Otto’s face. He felt like he deserved this, to let go. His actuators clicked at him, trying to keep him from jumping, but he didn’t listen. His emotions were getting the better of him.

So he jumped.

Norman rushed to the bridge on his glider, reading the message that Otto sent him over and over.
I’m sorry Norman, I can’t take this anymore. Just know that I love you.
“Otto you idiot, why have you done this!!” Norman said to himself. He hopped off his glider at the bridge, looking over the edge. He could faintly see an actuator going dim, sinking to the bottom. He dived over the railing, splashing into the water.

Otto let the water fill his lungs, his vision going blurry and dark around the edges. As his eyes were closing, he could see a faint outline, like someone was reaching out for him, before everything went black.

Otto coughed and spluttered, suddenly back to life. Every noise was drowned out and his vision was slowly returning, but he could hear someone crying.

“Otto, Otto please! Say something, anything!!” Norman cried, trying to shake his partner back to life. “Please…come back to me…”

Otto’s voice was hoarse, but he attempted to speak anyways. “Norman…?”

Norman’s face lit up, eyes filled with delight as he hugged Otto “Please don’t ever do that again, I love you too much to lose you”

Otto could barely hug back, closing his eyes as he sighed, tears blurring his vision again. “I’m sorry…so sorry…I shouldn’t have pushed you away…I love you too…”

They both hugged each other in mutual silence, tears streaming down both of their faces.
“I never want to lose you again…”
