Loki's Pet

You have been his Asgardian servant for several months, but you have noticed he treats you rather differently from the others. He never raises his voice or gives you tasks that would be too difficult. There are moments when it seems as though you are just cosmetic, something beautiful to keep him company just as a trophy would.

This special treatment has gotten you the nickname, ‘Loki’s pet’ between the other servants, and because of your treatment, they have grown jealous of your position. He dresses you well and treats you with gifts occasionally. He makes the excuse that you need to look better than an ordinary servant if you are going to be this close to him. Even though you get dirty looks from others, it is worth your position.

As you are making your way around the castle from your own chambers, you can hear Loki calling for you. He uses his powers, not needing the use of his voice when you could be anywhere in the castle. You are sure to change your plans and make your way to Loki as fast as possible.

Loki calls from his quarters, wondering how you could come to his every whim. Sometimes he would just call for no reason from anywhere to see how fast you would arrive. Just as he thinks you may take longer than usual; You walk into his room looking quite winded. Upon realizing you most likely dropped everything to make your way to him, and rather quickly, he smirks softly.

He motions for you to come closer to him with a single flick of his wrist and you oblige dutifully.

“Come here, lítill einn,” And you come much closer, finding it strange that he is sitting below you and hasn’t stood.

In any other situation, Loki would have been standing when you arrived. However, he is sitting down in a loveseat made of fine Asgardian leather, looking quite comfortable in his normal green and black attire. Before you get a chance to question what he needs, Loki wraps a hand around your wrist and pulls you down, so you’re face to face. A mischievous smirk overtakes him, making an expression you’ve grown to love and fear equally. You can imagine this reaction is from the small gasp and wide eyes coming from yourself. He merely stares at you, a familiar tension growing between you that has been festering for weeks, but neither of you have made any advancements; Something that has both frustrated and disappointed you.

“Is there something you require from me?” You finally speak up and attempt to make your question sound as respectful as possible, your voice barely above a whisper.

You are so close that Loki can smell the perfume you wear, the sweetness of it making him feel drunk. As the moments pass between you, an urge bubbles up in his mind to pull you down into his lap and finally make you his. He wants to steal a kiss from your lips and feel your skin underneath his fingertips. However, at the last moment, he never does anything.

He releases you swiftly as though he has touched something hot, and you hesitate before standing straight once more, not understanding the game he plays.

He doesn’t speak for a moment before shaking his head, “I’ve changed my mind, now leave me.”

“But-” You attempt to protest, and he interrupts with a raise of his hand.

“Now,” He says sternly, and you hesitate for a moment, but leave with a slight bow.

His surplus of nerves in addition to the stakes of initiating anything would be grave, so he never makes a move despite wanting to. However, he has begun to question if the two of you could keep a secret.

You would have to, or you could die.
