Summary
Gwen runs into a redheaded Arya Stark.Rahne is enough of a nerd to play along (she is Arya Stark of Winterfell under the skin of a damaged child all grown up (she will not bow to destiny))
Note
Initially inspired by the fact that people go up to Maisie Williams and ask her to add them to Arya's list.

Gwen was enjoying Krakoa. The weather was always good, and she got to visit Jeff and Wade at new Staten Island pretty easily.

Gwen's day got even better when she ran into Arya Stark (she didn't think Game of Thrones existed here, but isn't it great that it does).

She remembered (back when she was in her home universe) that a lot of fans would ask to be added to the kill list (Gwen asks the same of this girl).

Redheaded Arya Stark stares at her for a second (her blond friend seems a bit puzzled).

Rahne (nerd that she is) has read all the released books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Arya is one of her favorite characters (she and her normal friend have dressed as Jon and Arya before once they saw how American Halloween worked--they stayed in character the whole time). She has the list memorized.

She decides to play the part she has been given, despite Amara standing next to her.

She smiles and asks for the odd, bubbly girl's name (this is not her usual smile, there is cold steel in it).

-----****---****-----

Gwen grins, ecstatic. Redheaded Arya Stark (she should ask for the girl's name after this) asks if she is related to "Jeyne, her sister's friend."

-----****---****-----

Amara is a bit confused (Rahne has no sister; her actions are wildly out of character). When her friend starts reciting a list of names, she grows concerned (the pink girl's name is included on the list).

When her (anxious, sometimes painfully Christian friend) ends what she realizes is a kill list with "Valar Morghulis," Amara chokes.

She knows what the words mean, even if the world believes them to be merely part of a story (the Iron Bank openly exists in Nova Roma, rather than covertly as it does elsewhere).

Rahne jumps to her aid, and asks after her well-being with concern, and the stranger in her friend's skin vanishes.

-----****---****-----

Blondie chokes, and Redheaded Arya Stark (Gwen really should ask for her name) is herself again, and no longer playing as Arya.

Gwen excuses herself, and goes to tell Wade and Jeff all about how she met a Game of Thrones character (in real life).

(She added me to the list, Wade!!!)

-----****---****-----

When Rahne finishes the list, Amara chokes, and the girl (the ghost) she is playing slips away, as she frets over her friend.

(Sometimes when she plays as Arya, she does not know if she is acting or if she really is the girl (sometimes it seems like the ghost of Arya Stark is guiding, controlling, her actions))

(Rahne does not wish to be the second coming of a dead girl who despite it all became humanity's savior)

(Rahne knows a lot more of the story more intimately than most can imagine)

(this is not something she tells her friends)

(the ghost of Azor Ahai sits heavily on her shoulders and whispers in her ear)

(Rahne is more selfish than outsiders think. She actively buries what could be her destiny)

(She knows she will have to do something about the resurrection happening on Krakoa (the Eternals have a longstanding deal with the Many-Faced God; the mutants are burning through their leeway and swiftly approaching red ink))

(she pushes this inside ignore it and maybe it will go away and checks in with Amara)
