Betty brand love playing a detective. And Peter parker is a Mystery to her.
Betty hates mysteries. She likes when people are open book. So far all her friends are easy to read (Except Michelle she's kinda terrifying like that), Like betty knows Cindy loves to gossip and drama as long as it doesn't involve her. She knows Abe is a big Avengers fan. Flash is an asshole who likes to pick on people whose weaker than him. Ned can't lie for shit. Peter Parker is an adorable puppy can't even hurt a fly.
All in all Betty knew her friends. And she was quite content with her life.
So it's just perfectly normal to be curious how the fuck(pardon her French), Peter Parker a scholarship kid suddenly got to afford expensive shoes gadgets and all kind of jizz jazz. Not only that Peter Parker "never misses a class'' suddenly started flunking out most of his classes' or almost falling asleep in every class. Betty sure wanted to get to the bottom of this.

Cindy:
OMG!!!!! IKRRRR It's like bro woke up and decided to be Tony stark.
The other day in the gym I over heard him and Ned talking about The stark internship maybe it's a paid one?
Betty the detective :
Ok, let's be real here like I don't like Flash but I'm with him on this one stark industries don't hire high school interns ..
Cindy;

Betty :

The very next day she woke up from the bed with a hard determination to figure out Parker is a male escort or not. What she didn't expect was Parker coming to her.
“Oh, um… Hi?”
Betty raised an eyebrow "heeeeey?"
"So I need a favor..."
She stared at him, thoroughly confused.
"So um you know...My sister she needs a baby sitter for the night. You babysit right like ...would you ?"
Betty stood there with mouth wide open and blinked at him
"Are you like an orphan?"
Peter shifted his weight nervously
"um not really?"
"Dude you asking me?"
"Pft no.. So baby sitting ? would you I'll pay 40$ a hour,"
"yeah sure' just text me the address"
Later that day Betty stared at a house that can cost more than her whole life, and started questioning her life choices. Betty anxiously ring the bell. The door opened revealing Mrs. Potts.
Betty knew she is staring with her mouth open.
"Oh you must be Betty ? Peter's friend?"
"oh..um yes Mrs .Potts Ma'am Mrs.Stark" her ears are as red as a tomato'
"Please call me pepper''
"Mom..."
Pepper turned around revealing Peter.
"oh hi Betty" He waved
When she returned to school next day and Cindy asked about the evidence she turned around and walked away leaving a really confused Cindy.
