MJ was bored. Harry and Gwen had invited them to this fancy diner that was so rich it could buy her dads house and other two houses for fun. People came in and out but there were two that caught her eye, they weren't even dressed to the nine, they were just in sweat pants and an oversized shirt

" You see that's how you know they're rich, they don't care about this and they don't care if they dress up or not, I wish my dad was like that." Gwen nods, and then gasps dramatically," Peter! Oh my god,"

when the table looks at her to explain she sighs again," He's my ex, and he was dirt poor, he never got over his last ex, Micheal I think her name was?" Just before she disclose any information her phone rings " I'll tell all of you later." She walks off.

How she can walk in that dress is beyond her. Scratch that how hasn't she gotten at least a little cold?

Then the restaurant starts clapping, she asks Ned what's happening. " Dude he just proposed! Like with a diamond ring and everything!" Harry starts talking after " And they got their meal for free, they got the most expensive foods on the menu."

She rolls her eyes, hasn't any of them been on the Internet?
" It was scam." They look at her clueless " You know when people fake propose? To get they're food for free."

Ned frowns

" Come on MJ, you shouldn't assume people do that because they don't dress well."

But Harry defends her statement.
"She's got a point, I mean Gwen just admitted that he was dirt poor, at least when they dated." Speaking of Gwen she walked back, already finishing her call," - so anyway, Peter was like dirt poor and we just broke up a month ago-" MJ interrupted" Hate to tell it to you but he just proposed to someone else."

Gwen looked really mad, she looked like she was going to strangle the newly named Peter,poor guy," Ugh, that cheater I-I'm going to confront him!" She gets her purse "where did they leave!" Ned got up to follow them,so did MJ. She almost trips on a little girl " Sorry."

Gwen followed the way they went and quickly found him," Peter fucking Parker." She shouts with venom, Peter turns around at his name

"Uhh Gwen how are you?"

"Don't lie to me Peter, how long!"

"Where you seeing her!" She pointed a finger at the proposed. She then frowns " I'm sorry who are you?"

"I'm Gwen Stacy, Peters ex! We were dating for two months!" Harry gives a helpful tidbit. " We need answers, Parker."

The girl steps in front of Peter and speaks defend him," Hello I'm Karen, and have been his wife for three years, I'm sure this is a misunderstanding" calmness came from her in waves, her perfect bun not a touch out of place and her sweater making her look an effortless kind of pretty.

Gwen eyes soften when they look at her. "And I'm sure that you're wonderful but he cheated on you with me."

Karen clicks her tongue, and spares a glance at Peter" Ah, well we should, stop and calm ourselves."

But Gwen, the ever self righteous,is already speaking when Karen half finishes her sentence " Didn't you hear me? He cheated on you! You deserve someone who isn't a scumbag! I bet there were other women!" Peter winces, she feels bad even though she doesn't know the guy.

"Yes I heard you and we will talk at home," she throws a hardened glance at Peter"but I will not let you call names, goodbye."

Gwen is left there mouth left on the ground, as Karen saunters away, Peter sparing them, especially her, a glance before she and him leave, walking down the street, Karen talking to Peter casually,as though nothing happened.
