To The Afterlife
6/9/1945, Huaihua, Hunan Province
Jiaying was scared, she had been running from that man, she had been running from his soldiers, any westerner she saw, Jiaying ran from, she had no idea what had happened there, no idea why that strange object had only glowed when it killed the others, but she didn't want to be caught because of it, she wanted to hide from them and not be caged like they were probably planning again.
As Jiaying had walked the streets, scared, she had accidentally bumped into a person, making her flinch, “我很抱歉–！(I am so sorry–!)” She started as the man chuckled, “没关系，如果你回答一个问题我会原谅的。(It is alright, I will forgive if you answer one question.)” The man said, pulling out the same metal device that the man who had terrified her in her nightmares always held.
“你是如何在它的触摸下幸存下来的？(How did you survive its touch?)” he had asked, making Jiaying scared, she had moved to escape him, but he had grabbed her, “我不会伤害你，只要你回答我的问题。(I will not hurt you, as long as you answer my questions.)” he had said, making the woman nervous now, “这是怎么回事？我以为是美国人拿走的。(How do you have that? I thought the Americans took it.)”
Phaeder had smiled towards her statement, “您认为只存在一个吗？(Did you think there was only one in existence?)” he had asked, “现在说话。(Now speak.)” he had said, making the woman a bit nervous as she spoke, “我的村庄流传着关于我们的祖先如何使用类似物品来超越自我的故事。(My village has had stories of our ancestors using items like that to become more than they were.)”
That had made the man smile at that, “那么还有更多像你这样的人吗？(So there are more like you out there?)” He had asked, making the woman nod now in worry, “那么看来我们还有更多话要说。(Then it seems that we have more to speak of.)” he had said, going and escorting her towards a more private area so that they would be able to discuss the future with each other.

6/9/1945, The Royal Palace, Attilan
Black Bolt and the rest of The Royal Family had been looking at the news that Sterilon and some of the others had been looking over everything that had been told and as they had looked it over, Karnak had noticed something, “Auran and Maximus are missing.” he had said, making the Inhumans nod at that, “Where is Kadlec?” Medusalith had asked of her sister who had started to move.
“He should be lurking nearby.” Crystal had said as she had whistled for Lockjaw, the canine barking happily as he had went and started to teleport away than return with The Seeker, “My King.” Kadlec had said, seeming nervous at the moment, “What do you require?” he had asked and hearing that, Black Bolt had signed, “<We need you to discover the whereabouts of both Maximus and Auran Amakitsu.>” he had said.
Hearing that, The Inhuman nodded, “As you command, My King.” he had said with a deep bow, making them all watch as the man that had served The Unspoken had started to search it seemed, “I have found them.” he had said towards the group, walking over to The map and pointing, “They are here.” he had said, making them all nod, “Then I and Mesili will collect them both.” Gorgon said.
Hearing that, Black Bolt had nodded as they had started to walk towards Lockjaw who had barked, happy to see them, “Alright, let’s go.” Gorgon had said, the two of them vanishing to gather Mesili so that they would be able to find The Prince and then be able to deal with whatever they were scheming right about now, “Hopefully they would be able to rescue Auran from whatever was happening.

6/9/1945, Bolt Technologies, Bangor
Auran had been looking around everywhere when she had heard a noise, the noise of Lockjaw, “Maximus!” she had shouted towards her partner, he had fully adapted to the world he was in, his hair in an undercut, wearing a black vest and pants with a dress shirt as he had walked towards her, “Lockjaw is here.” she had said, making him sigh at that, “They most likely brought Mesili here.” he had said.
“It would make sense, she has the ability to interfere with your control over her.” Auran had said, recalling when he had tried to in the past but she had shrugged it off, “Then we’ll need to go through with the plan.” he had said and hearing that, Auran nodded as she had went and started to get him in an arm bar right now and then put him onto the ground now.
He had groaned, glaring towards her while Auran put the circlet on just as they had seen that there was Mesili and Gorgon coming in, making the employees starting to run now, they had started to move right now towards them and as they had done so, Auran had snarled at the pair, “What took you two so long?” she had questioned as the pair had approached with some surprise.
“Are you alright, Auran?” Mesili had asked, going and looking through her mind, trying to remove any sort of triggers that had been placed there and had found nothing, “Thank goodness.” she had said towards he friend, going and hugging her while Gorgon had went and started to make sure that there was nothing around there before he had went and cuffed his cousin.
“You’re going to enjoy your new home.” Gorgon had said towards Maximus, making Auran confused, “Are you planning to lock him up somewhere else?” she had asked, making the two of them nod, “With how dangerous he is, we had created a place safe for all in Attilan.” Mesili had said to her friend, making Auran nod at that, glad for her as they had started to move.
All the while though, they had started to move and as they had went to Lockjaw, Auran had nodded towards Maximus who had nodded towards her with a smile, Auran had started to move now, she had been thinking on how exactly they were going to get through all of this as each of them had went and touched the canine so that Attilan became their next destination.

6/9/1945, Maximus’ Cell, The Royal Palace
Maximus had found himself in a new cell now, looking around now, he had frowned, “Oh come on! Could you at least make it look like a jungle?!” he had shouted out loud, making there be a crackle from one of the machines that’s up above him, making the Inhuman glare towards the noise, “We cannot trust you with anything such as that.” The voice of Karnak had said.
Curious, Maximus had looked around at it all and saw that there was a bed, a slot that had appeared to allow food and water through, making the Inhuman give a whistle as he had looked around it all, “So this is my new home?” he had asked of them, making the speaker make a noise, “It was designed so that you cannot influence anyone else.” Karnak had said towards him.
“This is for the safety of you and ourselves.” He had said, but The Prince had went to lie on his bed now, smiling as he looked at the ceiling, “Fine by me.” he had said, “A cell like this can’t hold someone like me.”He said, already planning and thinking on how he was going to take over The Kingdom and make it so that he was the last member of their house when he took over.

6/16/1945, Jiaying’s Village, Hunan Province
The two of them had walked into the village and as they had done so, Phaeder had went and waved towards them, “你好，我的名字是 Phaeder，我和你们的祖先一样，是一个异人族。(Greetings, my name is Phaeder, and I am an Inhuman like your ancestors once were.)” he had said towards them, making the scared and hurt people approach when they saw his companion, “嘉莹？(Jiaying?) they started.
That had made the group start to approach now, wondering what exactly was going on before they had gotten excited, “嘉颖！嘉颖回来啦！(Jiaying! Jiaying has returned to us!)” they had been shouting out now, making the scientist annoyed right now when he had seen that one of the older members there had been approaching him, making The Man of Science confused.
“谢谢您将我们的一位家人送回给我们。(Thank you for returning one of our family back to us.)” the elder had said towards him, “如果我们能为您提供任何帮助–(If there is anything that we can do to help you–)” he had started to say, which made Phaeder smile, “确实有一件事您可以帮助我。(There actually is one thing that you can help me with.)” The Man had told them.
That had made him curious as Jiaying had noticed them and that he had revealed the Obelisk, “您希望怎样证明祖先的传说是真实的？(How would you like the legends of your ancestors to be proven true?)” He had asked, opening up the Obelisk to reveal The Terrigen Crystals inside of it now, making him amazed while Phaeder had thrown the crystal to the ground and made the Terrigen spread out to hit them all.

6/16/1945, USS Twiggs, Okinawa
“Kamikaze! Coming in hot!” Spectrum had shouted out as he had flown upwards to blast at some of them going towards The USS Twiggs, some of them were able to get past him, but there was one in question that had been aiming towards him, seeing that, Spectrum had started to create a field that had hit him, making the man start to plummet now towards the water while the planes hit The USS Twiggs.
Falling into the water, he had been a bit disorientated at that as he had noticed that there was Triton and one of the other Supers that had been running around in The Pacific Theater, The Fin, had been rescuing the drowning soldiers, getting them out and away from the destruction while Zarda was at the deck right now with a bow, firing towards a few when Howard grabbed her shoulder.
“We’ve gotta go! Come on!” he had told her, going and trying to drag her away, “I can’t just–!” “I am NOT losing you because you’re being bull headed!” he had told her, making The Utopian shocked that he would say that, at least until she had seen his desperation before her, “Fine! LET’S GO EVERYONE!” Zarda had shouted towards the ones still up there who had started to run now.
They had started to move right now and as they had done so, getting to one of the boats, The Human Torch and Toro took the place of Spectrum who had been getting up now, “Spectrum! Cover The Boats!” Jim shouted and he had aimed The Prism, firing and creating a field to protect them all now, giving them a bit of relief right now as they had started to get them safe for the moment at least.

6/16/1945, Beach, Okinawa
The American Soldiers there had been exhausted, breathing hard as they had seen that there was no one there at the moment, looking around until they saw a shimmer in the sky now, “That should keep us hidden for a little while.” Joseph had said towards them and hearing that, they had all been relieved for the moment right about now as Zarda looked towards The Fin and Triton.
“Do you think you could swim to The others? We could use a pick up.” Zarda had said and hearing that, the others had been in agreement with it as all of the Invaders had started to think about getting back to their main forces as The Invaders and the others had started to think about where they were going to go next right about now so that they could stop the danger Japan could pose.

6/17/1945, Cagayan River, Naguilian
The Utopian had been hit in the shoulder, but she was not going to go down without a fight, taking one of the swords that a Japanese Soldier had dropped, she had lifted it and then proceeded to leap forward, slashing down on one of the machine gun barrels that were there, “悪魔！(Demon!)” The Warrior had shouted, going to draw his own blade when Zarda had cut him down.
She had looked towards the others that were there and glared, “生きたいなら逃げろ！(If you wish to live, then run!)” She had shouted out as her comrades had started to move in, Toro and Liz giving their own blasts of energy towards the group, making the Soldiers there who dad started to wither before they had withdrawn now, getting as far as they possibly could away from them now.
The Allied forces that had followed after were all cheering, celebrating their attack with others such as Spectrum and a tired of it all right about now, looking towards them and each hoping that this would be the end, that they would be able to face off against so many of them right about now as they had started to move onward, each of them hoping that they’d stop the fight here at least.

6/22/1945, Jiaying’s Village, Hunan Province
Phaeder had been meditating, Alveus around his throat right now when there was a cracking, making the man look up from his work to see that there was the Terrigen Cocoon that Jiaying was inside, the young woman had started to gasp as she came out, looking around in confusion, “发生什么事了？其他人在哪儿？(What happened? Where are the others?)” she had asked.
“你们都被泰瑞根改变了，现在让我看看你们经历了什么变化。(You have all been changed by The Terrigen, now let me see what change you have gone through.)” Phaeder had said towards her, going and starting to touch her, looking towards it all as Jiaying had covered herself, scared at the sight of it all right now, “我感觉好像有一团火在我体内燃烧。(I feel like a fire is inside me.)” she had said.
That had made Phaeder curious, “好像它已经准备好出来烧掉一切，或者好像你可以给它喂食以便它能够持续燃烧？(As if it is ready to come out to burn all, or like you can feed it so that it will burn continuously?)” He had asked, examining her body carefully for it all, “第二个，菲德。(The second one, Phaeder.)” she had told him as more of them started to come out.
“触摸我，只带走一根树枝。(Touch me, and take only a twig.)” he had told her, making Jiaying take a deep breath as she went and touched him, feeling the ‘wood’ that had made up his life, how it seemed more like a tree before she had recalled what he said, the woman had went and taken a small twigs from the trunk, as she had taken it, Jiaying had stared to feel… more, healthier, stronger.
“和我想的一样，(As I thought,)” he had said more shaky now, “你吸收生命来增加你自己的生命，(You absorb life to increase your own,)” he had explained, “如果你经常食用这种食物，谁也无法预测你能活多久。(There's no telling how long you could live if you consume regularly.)” Phaeder had told her, making Jiaying scared, now as the others had started to come now.
“我们所有的孩子都会这样吗？我们所有人也会这样吗–？(Will all of our children, will all of us–?)” “不。(No.)” he had said towards her, “这不会影响你的孩子，只要不再给予 Terrigen，只会影响你。(This will not affect your children, only you as long as there is no more Terrigen to be given.)” Phaeder had started to tell her, while the others had started to gather, all of them curious at the sight.
“对你们来说很幸运的是，我恰好拥有可供一百年使用的这种储备。(And it is lucky for your people that I happen to have a century's supply of it.)” he had told them, making the group all start to get a bit confused right about now as they had gotten a bit interested right about now, “请告诉我们更多信息。(Please, tell us more.)” The Elder had said towards him, making Phaeder grin at that right now.

7/4/1945, Monastery, Nepal
Phaeder and The villagers that he had gathered as well as some others that had been told about it as they had begun to enter and look around at it all,each of them was a bit curious at the sight before they had looked at everything with a bit of surprise and interest before they had started to walk around and look at it all before they had started to look back towards him.
“你从哪儿买到的这个？(Where did you acquire this?)” one of the elders had asked and hearing that, Phaeder had sighed before he had went and pressed a button that was on the circular pad that was by his jugular, “That’s better.” he had said, making the group all confused by that when they had spoken, “How did you acquire this Monastery?” The man had said towards them.
“This was once an ancient colony of The Inhumans.” he had said towards them and hearing that, they had all started to look at that with some interest while Phaeder had went and brought out the crate that had the Terrigen inside now and as they had looked towards each other before the Scientist had went and looked back towards them now, “So then… there are some rules that must be followed.” he said.
That had made the group confused, “Rules?” Jiaying had asked, “Of course.” he had said, “If these are not followed, then enemies like the ones that took Jiaying and others could return and perform worse actions.” he had said towards them, making the new Inhumans all start to get spooked and scared at that as Phaeder raised his hands, “Here, you will be safe.” he had told them.
“Here, your people can grow and become more, away from the dangers that the world can bring to you.” he had said, making them all relieved at that, smiling and appearing to be happy for it as they had started to listen to his lessons, watching him as Phader looked at his little experiment and knew that there were a few that he was going to have to work with.
Jiaying was first and foremost, unlike the others, she was going to outlive them all, and if he wanted his experiment to last for his son, past his own lifespan, than Phaeder was going to have to work early with them all, grinning at the sight of it all before the scientist went and started to head to the center, “Well then, let us start with how Terrigenesis will be conducted.

7/4/1945, Maximus’ Cell, The Royal Palace
Maximus had received a harmonica from Auran now and with it, he had started to play some music, a little diddy that he had been working on that had made him feel like the world was burning and he had the torch causing it, smiling, Maximus had nearly missed the fact that a worm had crawled through the stone that was there, making him pause only for a moment before continuing to play.
Looking around at it all, Maximus had recalled how The Worm could speak in his mind, “Alveus?” He had asked, making a deep chuckle appear in his mind, “Hello again, Maximus Boltagon.” Alveus had said towards him, making The man curious, “I assume that you already have a plan out of here?” He had asked, making the Prince start to chuckle, liking the sound before he saw something in his friends mind.
“I take it that you have split yourself? That each of the worms is speaking to each other?” He had asked, making the worm start to nod at that as they had continued to look into each others minds, “Yes, and I assume that you put in a sort of landmine into Auran’s mind as well as a large alteration into her mind so that you have an agent on the other side?” Alveus had asked of him.
Maximus had almost chuckled at that before he had looked towards the roof, “And the best part is, I don’t have to have her in my range to speak to her.” He had told him, making the Worm go and look into his mind now to see and as he had done so, the creature had been surprised, going and entering her mind now, “Auran…” He had said as they had watched her walk, pausing now.
“Auran…” Alveus had said towards her, making Auran look around in annoyance at it all, “Ah… the things that we can do together…” He had said before Maximus cut him off, “Careful, she’s mine, not yours.” The Inhuman Prince had told him, not trusting Alveus with what was his as they both looked towards each other, “Unless you want me to play with your toys.” He had warned.
That had made The Worm look towards him before Alveus had started to laugh now, “I missed you, old friend.” The Ancient Inhuman had said towards him now, making The Prince smile at that, “And I could say the same.” Maximus told him, both of them started to laugh in their minds now, both of them starting to think on how they were going to come out on top, even if they had to burn the world to do so.
