Touching The Beyond
2/13/1945, Maximus’ Cell, London
The Inhuman Prince had been looking over the files that were there, thankfully, his cell had been upgraded since his assistance with HYDRA as the man had started to drink a glass of wine when Robbie had entered, “Hello there, Robbie.” he had said with a smile before pouting, “What now?” he had asked as Robbie went and sat across from him, “What did you find out about Pluto and Romulus?” he asked.
That had made the Prince sigh as he had looked them over, “Pluto is easy, he claims that he’s a Roman God to his soldiers and apparently he had shown that he was able to change his form.” Maximus had said towards the Speedster who had checked at what he had said, “Romulus though is a different story,” He explained, “No one has seen his face, no one knows his origin, he’s a shadow…”
That had made Robbie sigh, “But he seems to have a passion for wolves and always has two soldiers with him, one called Skoll and one called Hati.” he had said to the man which had made him nod, “Try and find the two of them, they’ll be your leak to him, but for Pluto, he surrounds himself with Supers and others no soldier has seen and lived.” he had said towards Robbie.
Hearing that, Robbie had smiled at that, “Thanks, Max.” he had said towards him, making the Prince wave him off, “Alright, now please go before I melt your brain for fun.” he had warned, feeling a mood coming on so The Whizzer had went and gotten up, ‘I hope you get better, Max.” he had said before walking off now and as he had seen him leave, Max had sighed and gotten up.
He had went and pulled out one of the wine bottles there, filled with a mixture of his own design before he had poured it onto the hinges of the air vent, making him sigh at that before he had started get down and crawl forward, shimmying through, Max had decided that a little bit of chaos would be pleasant for him as he had started to think that going to The States would be fun for him.

2/13/1945, Armory, The Royal Palace
Auran and The Lemurian Army that was there had prepared themselves to tear them all apart there until there was a horn which had made them all at the ready and started to swim upwards now, at the ready when they had begun to swim upwards and as they had done so, The Inhuman and The Lemurians had seen that there was the man that had tortured the two of them.
Auran and Nammu had bot readied to attack when he had spoken via a speaker, “Ich bin gekommen, um Frieden zu schließen.(I have come to make peace.)” He had said towards them, making the group all confused and looking towards each other before their leader had approached, “[Praise be to Immortal Naga.]” The Lemurians had all said as naga had approached him.
“Und welche Art von Frieden schlagen Sie vor?(And what kind of peace do you propose?)” Naga had asked, having been practicing thanks to Nammu and some prisoners they captured, making The German chuckle at that, he had looked towards the assembled group before he had started to twist at a dial now, making them all start to wince at the noise before he had spoken.
“Sie kontrollieren die Meere, werden aber an Land sterben. Ich kontrolliere das Land, werde aber ungeschützt im Meer sterben.(You control the seas but will die on land, I control the land but will die unprotected in the sea.)” Strucker had said towards him, “Wenn Sie uns Ihre Nichteinmischung mitteilen,(If you provide us with your non interference,)” He had told them all.
“Wir stellen Ihnen die Technologie zur Verfügung, mit der Sie Ihre blauhäutigen Feinde töten können.(We will provide you with the technology to allow you to kill your blue skinned enemies.)” The man had told them and hearing that, the pair of them had started to see how The Lemurians were looking at them both now, “I think we should start to move.” Auran whispered.
Nammu was in agreement with that as they had started to move as quietly as they could, “Das Einzige, was ich brauche, sind die beiden Spione, die versuchen, wegzuschwimmen.(All I require is the two spies trying to swim away.)” He had said towards the King and that had made him turn back and glare, “[Seize them!]” he had ordered before they both went to run.

2/14/1945, HYDRA Fortress, Krähennest Thal
Phaeder had been walking around it all and as he had done so, the Inhuman had started to see the bodies once more and as he had done so, The Scientist had sighed, “Wir brauchen neue Muster, China reicht aus.(We need new samples, China will do.)” His companion had told Phaeder and he couldn’t argue with The Kraken at that as they had started to walk now.
“Ich glaube, uns bleiben noch ein paar Dörfer zur Auswahl.(I think we have a few villages left to pick from.)” he had said and hearing that, Phaeder had sighed, “Wenn es nur etwas Interessantes gäbe–(If only there was something interesting–)” Phaeder had started to say when he had seen that there was a message from one of their contacts in Europe, “Der Rote Schädel ist tot!(The Red Skull is dead!)” he shouted.
That had made them both pause and looked towards him, “Was hast du gerade gesagt?(What did you just say?)” Werner had asked of him, “Red Skull hatte gegen Captain America gekämpft, Valkyrie war gefallen und beide waren verschwunden.(The Red Skull had faced off against The Captain America, The Valkyrie had fallen and both had vanished.)” he had said to them.
Hearing that, Phaeder had looked towards Werner now with some confusion, “Sollte uns das interessieren? Es ist ja nicht so, dass es unsere Projekte behindern würde.(Should we care about that? It's not as if it will hinder our projects.)” Phaeder had asked of him and Werner had nodded, not really caring for the man any way and the others that were serving under him.
“Okay, immerhin waren wir von Baron Strucker und nicht von Schmidt hereingebracht worden.(Fair enough, after all, we had been brought in by Baron Strucker, not Schmidtt.)” he had said before a man had approached, wearing a similar uniform to theirs, but there was a coat of arms instead of The HYDRA logo, “Eine Nachricht von Baron Zemo.(A message from the Baron Zemo.)”
That had surprised them, Zemo had been one of the allies that they had acquired for funding, he was a genius, but he had moved to his own tune, and that had made the man useful to them as they had started to think and then to plan for what was to come, the man had pulled out an envelop which had had then offered to Werner who had proceeded to tear it open now and read it while Phaeder had examined the man.
“Er möchte Ihnen mitteilen, dass er Ihnen gern seine Hilfe bei der Waffenherstellung oder der genetischen Weiterentwicklung anbieten würde.(He wishes to inform you that he would be happy to offer his assistance with weaponry or genetic advancement.)” he had said, his body appearing to become less detailed as he had said that, making Phaeder confused.
“Hier ist ein Beispiel meiner Arbeit mit Arnim Zola.(Here is an example of my work with Arnim Zola.)” that had made them look at the being that had appeared to be made of Dough now, “Dies ist ein Doughboy, und ich würde mich freuen, eine Beziehung aufzubauen.(This is a Doughboy, and I would be happy to create a relationship.)” he had said towards them.
Hearing that, Phaeder had looked towards them before looking back towards Werner, “Ich glaube, dass ich behilflich sein kann.(I believe that I would be of assistance.)” he had said towards him and hearing that, Phaeder had said towards him, “Ich hoffe, dass dies der Beginn einer wunderbaren Partnerschaft ist.(I hope that this will be the beginning of a beautiful partnership.)” The Doughboy had told them.
The Doughboy had smiled at that while Werner had sighed, “Denken Sie daran: Es gibt nur einen, dem wir gehorchen müssen.(Remember, there is only one who we must obey.)” he had said, Phaeder agreeing with that as he had started to prepare, sending a message to The Worm to begin bringing his son out so that he could get some hands on experience now.

3/1/1945, HYDRA Fortress, Krähennest Thal
Werner had been looking towards the man there while some of his students there had been watching while the latest subject had looked at them, “Wunderschön, nicht wahr?(Beautiful, is it not?)” he had asked of the man as the recording began, “Ihre Gruppe hat nachts im Boden gegraben.(Your group was digging in the ground at night.)” he had said towards the man.
“Wie Sie es gefunden haben, ist ein Rätsel. Erzählen Sie es uns.(How you found it is a mystery. Do tell us.)” he had requested towards him as The scientist had continued to circle him, but the man had paused before looking up to him, “Wir haben die gleichen Geschichten gehört wie Sie.(We've heard the same stories as you.)” The Chinese man had said in broken German.
“Nun, wir haben beide so lange nach etwas gesucht, das wir kaum verstehen.(Well, we've both searched so long for a thing we barely understand.)” Werner had told him with a smile as they had looked at the strange item, “Du kannst es halten, wenn du willst. Bitte.(You can hold it if you like. Please.)” he had told the man as the scientist there had hit the timer now.
The man there was scared now, nervous as they had looked towards them before going and putting his hand to it, as he had done so, the affect was almost instantaneous, his hand was beginning to blacken and spread now as he had watched, seeing as head become like the corpses of Vesuvius, a shocked expression appearing on his face before falling to the side now.
As it had thudded to the ground, Reinhardt looked to the one he liked, “Daran habe ich schnell gearbeitet.(Worked quickly on this one.)” he had said and his least favorite was examining the body, “Geschlecht und Rasse spielen also keine Rolle. Es lässt sich kein Muster erkennen.(So gender’s not a factor, nor race. No pattern emerges.)” he had said, still unsure how Phaeder got that baby monster.
“Faszinierend.(Fascinating.)” The German had told them, liking the thought that he would be able to get a leg up on the research compared to his strange compatriot, “Stecken Sie ihn zu den anderen.(Put himwith the others.)” he had ordered of them, “Dann bringen Sie das nächste Thema ein.(Then bring in the next subject.)” he had ordered as they had went to comply.
As they had started to do as much, Reinhardt had started to think that this was becoming interesting, how there was no difference, that all died to the touch of the artifact as they had brought in a woman this time, “Bitte nehmen Sie Platz.(Please, have a seat.)” he had requested as the guards had shoved her into the chair, “Fürchte dich nicht.(Do not be afraid.)” he had told her.
“Nehmen Sie es gerne in die Hand und sehen Sie es sich an.(Feel free to pick it up, examine it.)” he had said to her as she had looked at him and the item, “Bitte.(please.)” he had said to her, she seemed to be looking around now, and as the woman had done so, she had seen one of the remnants that had been left behind, she had went to get up, but the guards had caught her.
She had struggled, making the Obelisk start to tip and fall over, “不！请不要！(No! Please don’t!)” she had started to scream at that as they had edged her closer to it, “不要这样做！(Don’t do this!)” she had pleaded towards them, “Entdeckungen erfordern Experimente.(Discovery requires experimentation.)” Reinhardt had told her as they had continued to push him further and further.
Eventually they had gotten her face to touch the item in question and instead of turning her to a carbonized corpse, it had started to form symbols, writing that had begun to glow now and it had made all but Reinhardt back away while he leaned close, all of them watching as she had picked it up now, “Bemerkenswert.(Remarkable.)” he had said out loud as he saw her touching it unprotected.
“Was macht Sie so besonders?(What makes you so special?)” he had asked of her, making her begin to lean back now, “Ich denke, es ist klug, sie auf die Operation vorzubereiten.(I think it wise we prepare her for surgery.)” he had told them all, “Wir müssen genau untersuchen, was sie antreibt.(We must examine exactly what makes her tick.)” he had said to the assembled group.
“Herr Docktor Reinhardt. Die Invasoren und Kommandos werden morgen hier sein.(Doctor Reinhardt. The Invaders and Commandos will be here tomorrow.)” The soldier who had just rushed in had said towards him, angering Reinhardt at the interrupting, “Wir müssen retten, was wir können.(We must save what we can.)” he had explained towards them all, even the prisoner.
“Steck sie in einen Käfig. Wir werden dieses Geheimnis später lüften, ja?(Put her in a cage. We'll unravel this mystery later, yes?)” he had told them as they had started to move them, “Entdeckungen erfordern Experimente.(Discovery requires experimentation)” he had told them all, approaching his favorite student, “Und dieses Experiment wird Zeit brauchen.(And this experiment will take time.)”
Already he was starting to think on how this would work while Jiaying was scared, she had heard the stories of the artifact before, she had been warned of the danger, but now? Now it had felt like she had been one step away from divinity, and she had wanted to feel more of it right now as they had proceeded to grab her and began to shove her into a cage right now.

3/2/1945, HYDRA Fortress, Krähennest Thal
The Invaders had been charging in to attack the holdout, the soldiers had been charging towards them now, Namor had charged towards the gate now, “Imperius Rex!” he had went, crashing through not and giving them an opening that Peggy and The Commandos had used to enter, weapons at the ready as Jim, Spectrum, Toro and Golden Girl had aimed weapons towards them now.
They had been caught off guard, spooked by what they had been hit with, one was getting up but Dum Dum Dugan had hit him across the face with his weapon, “I’ll give them an ‘A’ for effort.” He had told the group, “Guten tag, boys.” Morita had said towards them, “All right, nice and calm.” He had warned as the HUDRA soldiers kneeled or raised their hands while Reinhardt stood with a strange item.
“No sudden moves, or we’ll tie blasting cap to your…” Mortia had started to say before he had thought, “Hey, Dugan, what’s the German word for ‘nuts’?” he had asked of his friend, “I don’t know, Jim.” he had said before cocking his gun, “”But tie a blasting cap to them, I’ll bet we’ll hear it.” he had sad, “I’ll be happy to help.” Namor had told them all, “Put it down.” Peggy had ordered the last leader of Europe’s HYDRA.
But he didn’t move at all, “Down.” She had told him, making the HYDRA officer kneel now, “These assets are now under the protection of the Strategic Scientific Reserve.” Peggy had said as the others had started to move, “They’ll be relocated and hidden out of sight, indefinitely, as will you.” Peggy had told them as The Human Torch moved forward now.
“Cut off one head, two more shall grow in its place.” Reinhardt had told them as Dum Dum had went to cuff his wrists, “Then I guess we’ll keep cutting them off.” Peggy had said towards the man, “Everything’s clear, sir.” one of the soldiers had said as they had moved him off, “Get him out of here.” Peggy had ordered as Dum Dum moved him off and turned towards the others.
“All right, boys, let’s pack it up.” he had told them as they had all moved to do as much, going to pack everything up now and pack it up, The Invaders going and heading towards the cells while Dum Dum got confused, “Agent Carter, what the hell is all this stuff?” he had asked, going to lift up the lid of a crate to see a bit of blue skin before Carter had slammed it down.
“Dangerous.” she had told him, “Right now, we need to contain everything and get it out of enemy territory.” she had told them before going to whistle out towards Whizzer who had been moving to pack up everything that he could lift on his own, “Mr. Stark plans to go through it tonight.” she had said as they had looked at the Obelisk, “And THAT, we must never touch.” she advised towards Morita.
He had nodded as Jim had approached to pick it up, the machine not hurting another machine while Peggy had looked around, “This is the last HYDRA site we know of in Europe.” Peggy had said towards them, “They’re finally beaten here.” “You don’t sound thrilled.” Dugan had said as The Human Torch had went to put the item in the crate now carefully.
“Well, these things can’t simply be boxed up.” Peggy had told them them all, “Some needs to establish a permanent unit during peacetime.” she had told the Commandos and Invader, “To keep dangerous technology contained?” Torch had asked, not liking the sound as the seam was fused, “And watch over people like Stark who are toying with it.” She had added.
“Until then, all we can do is box it up, lock it up, and dedicate ourselves to make sure it never sees the light of day.” Peggy said as #084 was ready and Peggy had went to take a photograph of the item in question, all of them wondering what was going on with everything that was there and wondering if the Invaderswould be finding something else that would explain what was going on right now.

3/2/1989, The Cells, HYDRA Fortress
Jiaying had been shivering in the cell with some of the others that were there when she had seen that the door opened, all of them were getting nervous and scared right about now before they had seen that there was some people in strange armor and clothing, one floating a glowing crystal that had illuminated them all, many of them had started to shout out but Jiaying was focused on the crystal.
She had been thinking that it was like the obelisk that the doctor had used on her, and as she had watched it, they had started to move them now, “Come on, you’re free!” the woman in purple had started to say and hearing that, they had started to panic with ones like Jiaying and others that knew English telling them the same and as they had started to rush out, all of them starting to leave now.
Many of them had started to go to The Invaders and were thanking them while Jiaying had started to walk through, nervous as she had remembered The Obelisk, remembered that feeling, she had no idea what it was, but it must had been important, must have been like the stories that her family had been told about the island made by the Blue Angels, she wouldn’t know, but she’d survive until she did.

3/2/1945, Castle Zemo, Zeulniz
Phaeder had been working on some of the experiments that were there before he had seen that there was something odd going off, making him look and see that there was one of The Doughboys there which had appeared to be the one they had connected to the communications, “Rei– Rrrrrrr Reinhardt Ccccccccccccaptured!” The creature had said, making him curious at that.
“Ob– Ob– Obeliskkkkkk hhad o– o– one successsssss.” The Doughboy had said in its cradle which had made him smile, liking the sound of that as Zemo had walked in, “Doktor–(Doctor–)” “I habe gehört.(I heard.)” he had told him before getting one of his cases, “Es sieht so aus, als müsste ich eine Menge Chaos aufräumen.(It appears that I'll need to clean up a mess.)” he had said.
Zemo had sighed but he had nodded, going and walking off while Phaeder had started to think that there was something there, there was a viable test subject that was able to react to one of the two containers that they had found and started to think on how he would track the possible Inhuman down, “I can help with that.” Alveus had said, making him smile as he began to plan.
