Internship Diaries
Part 1
Peter woke up in the morning to the sound of the alarm, still thinking about what had happened yesterday. In fact, he couldn't even believe it.
'Yesterday Mr. Stark invited me to the tower and said he was going to make me a new member of the Avengers, but I declined him.'
Thought.
Now that he was on summer vacation, he would be able to spend his day as spiderman. She got up from her bed, brushed back her messy hair with her hand, turned off the alarm on her phone, picked up the paper note May put up for her every day from the table and read it.
"Honey, I made walnut and date bread for breakfast. Don't forget to eat your food! I love you. May."
He was writing. No! Bread with walnuts and dates, he thought, was not Peter's favorite.
She got up in bed, took a short shower, and headed to the kitchen to make herself an omelet. He had just finished his meal when his phone started ringing. Ned thought it was MJ or May, but the caller section said MR. STARK in capital letters.
"Oh my God, why is he calling me?" she thought out loud and immediately ran over to her phone.
"B-Mr. Stark b-is it a problem, sir?"
He certainly wasn't supposed to pick up the phone like that.
"Hey Peter, calm down, man, it's okay. I actually called you for an invitation," Peter was surprised at this remark. He wasn't even a member of the family.
"What invitation is this, sir?" he asked again.
"I was originally going to call May, but I couldn't reach her."
May? Why had he called May first?
"He's working hard at the moment, sir, so he may not have been able to open it," Peter said in a statement.
"Listen, Pete. You know I proposed to Pepper in front of the press and it's going to be a nice party tonight, I wanted to invite you and your aunt because I proposed because of you."
"Is it because of me?"
"Anyway, the details don't matter, Happy will come to pick you up in the evening, and I want you to get ready and come. If your hottie aunt gets off work and isn't tired, let her come too."
"T-okay, Mr. Stark, I'd be honored, sir."
"Then I'll see you in the evening, kid. Anyway, I need to close the preparations and stuff."
"See you Mr. Stark"
Peter slowly put the phone down on the table, hard to believe what had just happened.
Mr. Stark had formally invited her to his engagement.
"Oh my God," he exclaimed. Then he panicked and said, "Oh my God!" again. How was he going to wait for the evening, how was he going to behave there, or how was Mr. Stark going to treat him.
"God, this is something I really want, but at the same time I don't want it," I was told.
He decided not to patrol today, and when May called him and told him she was going to be on duty and couldn't come, he panicked more. At least it would have been easier if May had been by his side. It was evening and Happy knocked on the door.
Peter opened the door, and Happy gave him a critical look.
"Are you sick, child?"
"Oh no, no, Happy, I'm just nervous" As soon as Peter confessed, Happy's gaze softened in an instant.
"Peter, there's nothing to be afraid of, it's going to be a nice party, everybody's going to be there."
"It's easy for you, of course, you're used to tuxedos and parties" Peter reproachfully invited Happy in, and he himself went to his room to put on his tuxedo.
White shirt, black pants, black vest, black jacket and brand new black Semi-brogue shoes were all missing was how to tie his tie. "Boy, are you ready?" Happy asked.
"Yes, Happy, I only have my hair and tie left," Peter said.
"You take care of your hair and I'll tie your tie," Happy suggested, and Peter agreed without thinking.
"Ok Happy thanks"
Peter stood in front of the mirror to do his hair. She liked her hair to be slightly curly, but it made it difficult for her to style her hair.
With some gel and hairspray, she managed to get her hair on foot a bit. When he left his room with an unmade tie around his neck, Happy got up from his seat and walked over to Peter, skillfully tying the tie.
Peter asked, frightened. "How am I?"
"Trust me, you're handsome, kid" Happy's reaction to him pleased her. After the plane incident, it was clear that he had been more lenient with her.
They both headed for the car, and Peter didn't forget to put his phone in his pocket before leaving.
The road to the tower was long. The newly built building was definitely larger and larger. When they finally got to the ballroom, Happy and Peter got out of the car and entered the room.
As soon as Peter entered, the hairs on the back of his neck swelled and there was a ringing down his spine that disturbed him.
"Boy, you forgot to say hello to the owner of the party." Tony's brought you to your senses.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, I didn't see you," Peter said embarrassedly.
"Don't be sad, son, I'm engaged today and I'm happy."
"I'm happy for you, sir" Peter was trying to speak or react, but the Peter tinkling didn't go away with the nickname May had given him.
"Come, let me take you to Pepper," he said, pulling Peter's arm. And he added, "By the way, the tuxedo suits you."
Mr. Stark was also dressed in a tuxedo, but Peter thought he wasn't as bothered as he was. God, the buzzing wasn't going away.
At the compliment, Peter smiled and blushed. Pepper greeted guests and accepted congratulations as they arrived by a table.
"Mr. Stark, Mrs. Potts seems busy. I can come back later if you want," Peter suggested, but Mr. Stark refused, saying, "No, son, he has time for you."
"Pepper, this is Peter, you actually know him, but this is the first time you've spoken to him." Tony introduced, and Peter would have screamed because of the ringing if he wasn't in a crowded place.
"Peter honey. It would not be wrong to say that I received a marriage proposal thanks to you. I'm glad you came."
Pepper looked like May. Strange. He even spoke like her. This way of speaking made him feel a little comfortable.
"I am honored, Mrs. Potts." Pepper smiled at this and Tony put his hand on Peter's shoulder.
"I'm going to introduce you to someone, but first I have to meet him. Okay? Would you be able to manage on your own if I left you alone for a bit?"
"Of course, Mr. Stark, please don't worry." It had been drilled into her brain after the ferry incident that she had started to think that Mr. Stark cared about her, but now she was sure.
As soon as Mr. Stark left, Peter slowly made his way to the bar table and sat down in a raised chair.
"Young gentleman, what do you want?" the bartender asked.
"Water, please." The bartender poured water into a glass and handed it to Peter. Peter took a sip and the ringing started to sound louder. It was as if someone was sounding a siren in his ear.
Hearing the name "Peter Parker," Peter turned around.
"Colonel Rhodes. Sir, it is an honor and an honor to meet you. Oh my god, the iron patriot, the war machine is in front of me."
Peter was a little embarrassed by his reaction, but Rhodes was just laughing at it.
"Boy, you can call me Rhodey. Tony talked about you so much that for a moment I started to think that you were his child. And you look a lot alike." As soon as the Colonel said this, Peter looked at him in surprise.
"No, sir, I am not Mr. Stark's child. I'm Marry and Richard Parker's children." He felt awkward for explaining this, but it seemed as if the Colonel did not hear him at all, and he examined it.
"You definitely look like him," he said. Mr. Stark broke the conversation. He had appeared on a large stage and was holding a glass of champagne in his hand.
"Thank you to everyone who came to witness Pepper and my happiness." As soon as Mr. Stark said this, there was a great applause.
"And Pepper, darling. I'm glad you're in my life. Glasses go up to the most beautiful woman tonight. To Pepper Potts," he took a sip from his glass and again there was a huge deluge of applause.
And the damn ringing kept ruining his day.
Mr. Stark and Mrs. Potts came to the bar table next to Peter.
"You don't drink alcohol, do you, kid?" As soon as Mr. Stark asked this question, Peter panicked.
"Ha-No, sir," he replied with a stammer. In response, Mrs. Potts laughed and poked Tony with her elbow.
"Tony, don't!" Pepper warned. Tony was laughing at this when Peter's body suddenly disobeyed him and threw his body in front of Mrs. Potts. A big noise, shouts
And at that moment, a wave of pain spread over his right shoulder, as if he were on fire. As soon as he fell to the ground, the pain imprisoned him. He had been shot.
"Pepper?" Tony shouted. Pepper replied frightened.
“İyim Tony.”
Tony looked around for Peter and knelt down next to him in a panic when he saw him on the ground.
"Peter! Are you okay?"
"Well, Mr. Stark just came over my shoulder." Peter was in pain and gritted his teeth as he spoke. Tony immediately tried to lay him flat, and when Peter reacted, he said, "Boy, let yourself go. I need you to calm down."
"T-okay, Mr. Stark, but it really hurts." As soon as Peter confessed, he regretted it because Pepper was looking at Peter with tears in his left side.
"Mrs. Potts, I'm really fine."
Pepper looked at Tony, looking in disbelief. "Is it good?" he asked.
"I don't know" As soon as Tony said this, Peter was terrified.
Tony laid Peter straight, carefully straightened his right arm, and pressed his hand to the place where the wound had spread, whereupon Peter let out a brief cry of pain.
"Okay, okay. You're fine, son, as you said, it's on your shoulder. Breathe in and out deeply. Don't panic" Tony spoke as if he was suggesting both himself and Peter.
"Rhodey! Come here, there are wounded. Call the medical teams!" Tony shouted and Peter was getting sleepy.
"Um, Mr. Stark, I'm sleepy," he slurred. Pepper answered before Tony.
"No, honey, don't sleep now."
Peter closed his eyes for a moment, and Pepper shouted again. "Peter Parker. Your eyes won't close!"
At the shout, Peter jumped awake. She was definitely like May.
"Tony"
Rhodey came over and Tony gave him room to look at. He knelt down just like Tony.
"It looks like he's hit one of the main arteries, so he's losing a lot of blood. Turn up the pressure, Tony, and you young man don't sleep."
When Rhodey gave the order, Peter tried to carry it out because he was a Colonel.
"All right, sir," he said breathlessly.
Peter continued to writhe on the floor as Tony increased the pressure, and Pepper cried more and more with each scream, fearing that something would happen to the teenager. A few minutes later, Helen rushed in to Tony's side.
"Tony, let me look." Tony stepped aside, and Peter couldn't stay awake any longer.
"What's your name, young man?" Helen asked.
"P-Pe-Peter Parker efendim"
"Peter is such a beautiful name, I'm Dr Cho, but you can call me Helen, Peter. Now you need to stay awake, okay? My teammates will take you on a stretcher. You don't have to be afraid. Stay calm and help us. Okay?"
Peter replied briefly, "Okay." A few seconds later, a stretcher and medical supplies came up to him. One put an oxygen mask on him, while the others cut the expensive jacket Mr. Stark bought him with scissors.
"Oh no." Peter didn't know he was saying that thought out loud.
"What's the matter, kid, are you in so much pain?" Mr. Stark asked, frightened.
"It actually hurts a lot, but it's not a problem, they cut off my jacket, Mr. Stark, you bought it for me." As soon as Peter said this, Mr. Stark smiled.
"Dude, I'll buy you a thousand suits if you want. Have you forgotten the billionaire thing?"
"Peter, we're going to take you on a stretcher." Helen let me know, and Peter agreed. A few minutes later, in front of the tower's new MadBay, Tony, Rhodey, and Pepper were waiting for Peter, who was taken to the medical room. When Helen left the room, Tony spoke.
"How?"
"I don't think there's nerve damage that I need to take into surgery, but the bullet is still there. It's a little stressful, so I was going to say, 'Come in to calm him down.'" Helen said she was stressed, but Tony didn't look any different.
They said "OK" and entered the medical room.
She was lying topless in the middle of the room, hooked up to machines. Tony panicked a little when he saw her, but he knew he had to keep her cat calm for the boy.
"Hey Son," he said, and walked over to him. They hadn't cleaned up the blood that had splattered on his face and shoulder, and Peter looked pretty stressed.
"B-Mr. Stark Sir" As soon as he said that, Tony felt the tremor in his voice.
"A minor surgery was necessary and Helen told me she was stressed about it."
"Actually, Mr. Stark, I have extraordinary healing powers. Is it okay if I don't have surgery? And May. Oh my God! He's going to be very worried, shouldn't you tell him?"
Peter grew louder and louder, and fidgeting began to dominate his body.
"Son, son, calm down. You have to have surgery because the bullet is inside," Tony said, with a hand on Peter's shoulder, helping him calm down.
"But May!" Peter was protesting.
"May won't know what's going on, just calm down. I'm going to call him and say it's an internship incident and ask for permission to stay here for 1 week, is it okay for you?" As soon as Tony said these words, Peter began to calm down.
"Thank you very, very much, Mr. Stark," said the young man
Tony smiled, "Thank you, Son, you saved my fiancée."
Helen interrupted Tony and Peter's conversation.
"The operating room is ready. Is our young person ready?"
Tony looked at Peter, waiting for an answer.
Peter nodded his head sharply, "Yes Sir," he nodded.
"I'll be out right now, you don't have to be afraid, okay kid?"
Peter said again, "T-Thank you, sir."
The attendants arrived and moved the stretcher and took Peter to the operating room.
When Tony got to the waiting room, he found a Pepper, her eyes swollen from crying. She was still in her engagement outfit.
"Honey."
When Tony called out to him, Pepper immediately stood up, and Tony took her by the hand and gently sat her back in her seat.
"Tony, how's that?"
"She's good, honey. The surgery is not life-threatening. I talked to him. She was more afraid that she would find out that her aunt had been shot than she was about herself." Tony said this sentence with a smile. As much as he tried to calm Pepper down, he was just as scared.
"And what are you going to say to your aunt?" Rhodey asked.
"She was also injured in the plane crash incident and I called her aunt and said she had to stay for 3 days for the internship. I'll say the same thing again, this time I'm going to make it stay for 1 week instead of 3 days." Tony explained, and Pepper responded.
"That kid saved my life, Tony. I don't even know how to thank him. And her aunt has called 3 times so far."
"Honey, it's probably even when you're thanking you that you're like, 'Oh, you don't have to, Mrs. Potts. Just be good.'"
"Anyway, I have to get May's permission," he said. He called May, Peter is asleep right now, he said he has to stay for 1 week for the internship and promised that Peter would call May in the morning.
The surgery was finally over after 2 hours and 2 hours had been like a lifetime for Tony, Pepper and Rhodey. Helen went into the waiting room and began to report on her condition.
"He's doing fine, we got the bullet out, he just had a lot of bleeding, so his blood pressure dropped a lot. We managed to upgrade the upgrade with blood supplements. There is no nerve or permanent damage. I took him to the intensive care unit right now, when he wakes up, I can take him to the normal room, let me tell you before you say it, only one person can stay with him." When Helen explained the situation, Pepper was visibly relieved.
"Hey Pep, you go upstairs to the guest room, we'd have clothes. Bring me something to get out of your tuxedo and you take a shower and go to bed, you stressed a lot today and you too, Rhodey."
Rhodey just agreed and started to slowly climb upstairs. When Pepper realized that there were only two of them left in the waiting room, she hugged Tony and kissed him gently. Tony whispered softly as she responded.
"I'm scared of losing you, Pep. Will you ever go?"
"I would never leave you, Tony. Let me know if there's a change, okay? I'll bring you something after I take a shower and change."
Pepper walked out of the waiting room and Tony made his way to the ICU. The room was quite spacious. There was a bed on the wall in the middle and a teenager on top of it who was tied to cables. It was hard to call him Peter. Because the Peter she knew was usually an active, talkative child. This Peter, on the other hand, looked very quiet and very young.
He moved the seat next to the bed closer to the bed and noticed how tired he was after sitting down. He woke up early in the morning for his engagement, couldn't eat anything, and on top of that, his intern was shot. His white shirt was a little soaked in blood, and he didn't even remember where he had left his bow tie. He threw his head back and leaned against the head of the seat. He must have slept a little, when Pepper woke him up in a gentle voice.
"Honey, I brought you something to wear. I can take over while you get dressed."
Tony listened to his fiancée and slowly got up from the couch and left the room to get dressed, and Pepper took the seat in place.
At first, Peter did not quite understand what was happening. Just why it was so hard for him to wake up. Or talk.
He was a little nervous. He wanted to get up, but when he couldn't, he got even more frightened and a quick 'beep' sound started coming to his ears.
"Peter calm down, honey"
Someone was telling him to calm down. May? No, it wasn't, but the attitude was similar to his. Was it his mother?
He managed to moan slightly.
"Peter, will you open your eyes, honey? I'm here."
Peter managed to open his eyes at the soothing sound, it was dark, and the first face he saw was that of Mrs. Potts.
"I called Helen, she's coming now, you just calm down, honey, okay? Do you have any pain?" Pepper was pressing the call button as she asked.
"I'm fine, Mrs. Pots, can I just get some water?" she tried to pull the oxygen mask from her mouth, but Mrs. Potts wouldn't let her and took her hand.
"Honey Helen will come now, I don't know if you can drink water, wait a bit, okay and don't play with your oxygen mask"
Peter was certainly frightened by Mrs. Potts, and she decided to obey her, slowly lowering her hand. He didn't feel his right shoulder and hand at all, there was no pain, but there was an uncomfortable feeling of numbness.
Helen entered the room with Tony and started checking on Peter. Oana gave her some water through a straw and warned her to drink slowly.
"Peter, if you promise not to move your arm and to rest, I'm going to take you out of the ICU and into a normal room right now," he said
"Yes sir, I promise I will remain still" Peter was giving a scout salute with his left hand as he said these words.
"Then I'll send the nurses to pick you up in a few hours," Helen said, and left the room.
"How are you, kid?" Tony asked, and Peter replied, trying to straighten up.
"I don't really feel anything, Mr. Stark, and I'm very sleepy," he said. When Pepper saw him trying to straighten up, he raised the bed about 45 degrees and straightened his pillow.
"Even if you don't feel it, young man, there's a wound there and he told you not to move, right?" Tony politely admonished, but Peter was already asleep.
While he slept, he was taken to the regular room, and Pepper and Tony did not leave his side until morning. When Peter woke up again, he didn't have that much trouble and smiled slightly when he saw the couple sleeping on the double sofa next to him, leaning
against each other. As he forgot about his wound and tried to straighten up, a wave of pain spread over his shoulder.
"Ahh" No matter how hard Peter tried not to react, he couldn't, and the sound caused Tony and Pepper to wake up.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up," he said.
"Don't do it, my friend. We were going to wake up anyway."
"Yes, honey, it's okay."
Pepper and Tony stood up and went over to Peter.
"Are you in pain, Son?" When Tony asked this question, Peter probed himself, he was a little sore, but he could dare.
"No, Sir," he said, but Tony knew it was a lie.
"Hey Pet, don't lie to me, please do you have pain?"
"There's some, sir." Peter confessed, frightened.
"I'm going to call Helen," Pepper said, leaving the room. At the time, Tony was asking Peter if he was okay.
"Boy, thank you very much. You saved Pepper's life, and I'm sorry I'm responsible for your safety, and you're lying injured in bed right now." As soon as Tony said that, he realized that he had apologized to someone younger than him in his life, except for Pepper. Peter, on the other hand, panicked as soon as he heard these words.
"Sir, please don't think like that, it's my duty. I would gladly sacrifice my life to protect people and for Mrs. Potts. I would risk my life not only for Mrs. Potts, but for any innocent person, and I would be honored to do so." As Peter spoke, Tony interrupted him.
"Sissht, you are also important to us, and we would all be even more upset if something happened to you. Yes, it's our duty to protect people, but we can't do that while they're dead, right? That's why our own lives are also important. You really don't have any self-confidence, do you, man?" As Tony spoke, Helen came into the room.
"Mr. Parker, how are you?" she asked, slowly removing the bandage from Peter's shoulder, who was already topless.
"I'm fine, Sir, thank you," said Peter. Helen examined the wound and dressed it.
"Your wound is very good, it looks like there is no infection," he said, placing two fingers on Peter's right palm
"Will you shake my hand?" he said. Peter obeyed what he said and slowly shook the hand.
"Very good, Peter, will you open and
did as Helen told him, making a fist and opening it back, but he must have hurt as he did so, frowning.
"Do you have pain?"
"Yes, sir." Helen immediately injected painkillers into the serum port and proceeded to assess the situation.
"I'm in favor of staying for 2 more days, Tony. We don't want him to get infected, he always gets plenty of rest." Helen suggested, and Tony looked at Helen.
"As you wish, Helen. You know best."
"Rest, Peter. I'll send you chicken soup soon, drink that too, okay?" As soon as Helen said this, Peter thanked her again, and when Helen left the room, Peter noticed that he was getting sleepy again.
"I think I'm sleepy again," she said, and a hand began to comb her hair, and it didn't take her time to realize it was Pepper. He liked the massage of his head and hair so much that he would occasionally lie on May's lap and ask her to massage him. This would have caused him to fall asleep easily, just like he does now.
When Peter woke up again, he had soup in front of him, and with the help of Tony and Pepper, he drank the soup and Tony helped him put on a grey T-shirt with Stark on it and a grey tracksuit.
In the days that followed, he really felt better. It was time to leave the medical department and go to the room. He was ready to leave by Helen with strict rules and medications.
He was sitting on the bed when Tony came in with a hanger in his hand.
"Oh no, Mr. Stark. I don't want to wear it, I'm really good," Peter protested, but Tony looked at him and said.
"You don't want me to call Pepper, do you?" she asked calmly, and Peter immediately agreed, carefully putting on the hanger and fixing his arm. He walked out of the medical department with the help of Tony. He stood at the door and inhaled the fresh air. At that moment, Pepper drove up to the door and Tony opened the back door and helped Peter sit down. He himself sat in the front seat next to Pepper.
"Um, Mrs. Potts, where are we going?" Peter asked this question, and Pepper answered.
"We're not going to leave where the company is, Peter, we're just going to the part where Tony and I have our house. It's not that far, but we didn't want you to get tired of walking, honey."
"Oh, thank you, Mrs. Potts." Peter thanked him, and a few minutes later he was greeted by a 2-story wooden house. With Tony's help, he got out of the car and walked through the door of the wooden house.
It was said that he would be staying in this house for the next 4 days, and for some reason Peter got excited about these words.
