Chapter 1 (English)
Stephen let out a tired sigh, his whole body wrapped in a velvety cloak - which was trying to support him at this moment. He had just experienced a terrible battle with blood and fire and several space cracks had been promptly repaired, making his already sore hands even worse.
The magician trudged into the kitchen in the small hope that there would be something to eat - because for heaven's sake, Stephen was too tired to go out shopping and luckily there was a basket full of apples on the table. The ripe red fruit looks extremely delicious.
_Oh my god...
Stephen let out a sigh of contentment as he sat down in his chair and saw the piece of paper next to the basket:
"This apple is edible"
The slanted and crooked lines, the italicized letters, looked so funny that Stephen had a hard time swallowing the giggles that had sprung up. Probably from the students - that bunch of new recruits, they sometimes do that, buying all kinds of fruits and food to try to bribe Stephen into allowing them to miss practice, and of course they get rejected. denied it. It's still annoying but still a little funny, really, looking at their faces as deflated as afternoon dumplings has soon become his entertainment.
Right at the moment the Supreme Sorcerer picked up the apple, he felt someone appear behind him and Levi suddenly tightened his grip on him, proving it. However, Stephen felt that the opponent had no bad intentions, and after a few seconds, his cloak gradually relaxed, so he felt more secure. After all, the Sorcerers Supreme was not sure whether he had enough strength to fight. whether or not if the person behind makes a move. Tired and weary, Stephen put his head down on the table, pressed his cheek against the flawless, polished wooden surface, watching a pair of hands help him cut apples from the darkness. The other person slowly cut each piece perfectly, small enough so that Stephen didn't have to open his mouth too wide.
After cutting a piece, the person standing in the darkness calmly brought it before Stephen's eyes - literally feeding him. Stephen paused slightly, then didn't say anything but opened his mouth to take a bite of the apple in the other person's hand.
_Um...
He hummed in his throat appreciating its taste, took another bite, accidentally making his tongue touch the other person's finger. Chewing and swallowing, the Sorcerers Supreme, without warning or suspicion, ate the apple given to him by a stranger while he had not even looked at the person's face. The apple slice was missing two-thirds but the other person had no intention of holding it back. Stephen hesitantly used his scarred hands to hold the other person's hand, each trembling finger separating the index finger and thumb off the apple piece.
Finally, Stephen opened his mouth and ate the remaining piece of apple in the mysterious person's hand while still holding his hand.
When he had swallowed all the pieces of apple, the unknown stranger picked up the knife again and cut another piece, and Stephen obediently ate the apple he was fed, as if only the apple had a tiny core left. .
The other hands withdrew and disappeared in the darkness behind him.
But Stephen still wanted to eat more, an apple was nothing. And before the magician could even touch the fruit knife, a hand picked it up. This time he was observant and realized - it wasn't the hands that fed him just now, it was someone else.
The opponent slowly peeled the apple, patiently pushing Levi away every time he mischievously crawled onto the knife and wrapped itself around the handle (at least more than 20 times). Stephen did not protest or take precautions, lying silently with half his face pressed against the table, watching the apple being peeled.
So hungry...
