Chapter 3
Daisy is running to the motorcycle she just rebuilt two months ago with her dad. She isn’t looking back and with her training no one but Captain America could out run her probably. She speeds away on her motorcycle that she named Lily she has already decide that she was going to do right by her dad even though it is so painful to be without him. She will do everything in her power to be the kind of person her dad would want her to be well starting now. Because I did kick that social worker pretty hard. She thinks to herself. Daisy is riding away from all that she has found comfort in. “The world is going to be a much sadder place without you, Dad. Why did you have to leave me?” Daisy asks the sky with deep sorrow laced in her voice.
Back to Melinda May
Melinda May is confused very confused especially not having the mental focus for whatever just happened. Her mama was up ready to interrogate the new lady. “And you might you be?” The lady rights herself just looking up to see Lian May as she rubs her stomach. “I am a social worker. I was meant to collect Daisy honestly a couple of days ago, but she has been evading us since the news of her latest guardian’s death. Trouble that one always has been.” The lady shaking her head and you can see the distain in her face. Lian being the spy she is starts working out the situation. Lian looks back to her daughter and frowns. Melinda is tracing the box and looking the way the girl left. “Bǎobǎo-“ Lian says but get cut off. “I didn’t even know about her. Phil had a daughter and I never knew. He brought me tea every Friday he was in town and he never told me.” Melinda looks so heartbroken as she finally looks at her mama. “Her name is Daisy.”
