Note
The moment that I had gotten to work on adding Namor and The Inhumans in, I needed to make this, Namor The Sub-Mariner, The First Mutant, this will be interesting since I don't have too much data on The Atlanteans but I will try to keep this as entertaining as the rest of my works, hope you like it!

Learning About Each Other

8/17/1936, The Beast Pens, Atlantis

Dorma and the twins had hidden in The Beast Pens, when TIny and Ambrose had awaited, the giant Goldfish and the Giganto had become fast friends together once he had grown to his current size, as the trio had looked around, Dorma and the brothers had went and swam as deeply as possible into the pen as Tiny had blocked it, “The first thing that we need is something to embarrass Byrrah.” Dara had said.

They were in agreement with that, they weren’t planning to kill him or Krang, not yet at least, and they didn’t want to hurt Atlantis, so embarrassment instead was the best course of action for them, they had thought on that, “Destabilizing one of his projects?” Dara had asked as Seth had shaken his head, “Krang isn’t stupid, he keeps an eye on everything for those.” he had said.

“Then how about making an attack? Something ‘natural’ that neither he nor Byrrah could stop?” Dara asked his brother again and hearing that, Dorma nodded, “That could work, but is there anything that is happening?” She had asked and hearing that, the twins had thought on that as Ambrose had run around Giganto, making Tiny giggle at that which had reminded Dorma of it.

“The Running of The Beasts.” she had said towards them and hearing that, the twins had nodded, “We can smuggle Tiny to The Summer City, and both Byrrah and Krang will be there, trying to prove their strength, trying to show that they are stronger than Namor–” “And Tiny will be there to sabotage it all.” hearing that, the three of them had then went and looked towards the beast.

“But how are we to do that without The Horn of Proteus or Nammu nearby?” Seth had asked and hearing that, the Giganto in question had looked towards him, Tiny cocking their head at that, making them grin, “Get Nammu’s wardrobe, I think that we have a plan.” she had said towards them and the two had smiled at that as they had all went and started to get ready for their plan.

The trio had went and started to rise up, Nammy deciding to wear something that was more like the pinklings but in crimson for the moment with a black sarong, her gill scarf and Bobo’s tightly on as they had seen that Liz and Sandy saw them, the two of them going and waving towards them as the three rose up, seeing the pair, Liz and Bobo  being happy while Sandra seemed more morose then usual.

“Sandy, why don’t we stay at the club?” he had asked of them, “I just want to get as far away from that place as possible.” she had said towards him, “But I LIKE the club.” he had said before following after her, “What’s wrong with her?” Bobo asked, “Yeah, is she having her bleed?” Nammu had asked, “Everyone thinks Sandy’s dad is…” Liz started, at least until she shook her head.

“Forget it… let’s go to Claris Point.” she had said and hearing that, Nammu got curious, “You guys go ahead, I saw a fish that I’ve been dying to eat for years.” she had lied to them, making Bobo and Liz nod as she had went and headed towards the boys that had been watching them, making her curious on what it was that was going on, “Hello there.” she had said towards the boy there.

He had raised an eye, twirling his little racket like he was king, so she had smiled, remembering how she saw the pinkling girls flirted when they were wet and did as much, making sure that she kept her ears hidden, “Well hello there.” he had said with a smirk, looking everywhere that there was exposed skin, especially where the top of her swimsuit ended, hoping to get a peek.

“I was wondering what you had said to upset the blonde in red?” she had asked, making the boy grin, “I take it you’re not a fan of Sandra?” he had asked of her, “Sandra? Sorry, but the girls that the prince finds to play with all start to blend together after a while.” she had said to him, making him lose his smile for a moment before recalling what it was that she had said.

“So you’re saying that Sandy is just a foolish little girl?” he had asked of her, motioning for a seat for her to sit in, seeing that, she had restrained herself from punching him, at least for the moment as she had taken it, “How about you tell me what the machine in the water is for, and I’ll see if there’s something interesting I can tell you too.” she had explained as they had started to have a conversation.

The four of them were on a stone now, looking at the waves in the water as they had eaten their food Namor brought, “Mmm… if I eat any more, I’ll pop.” she had said towards him, making him smile as Namor lifted her up, “Nonsense! You’re lighter than air!” he had said to her, “Easy, Tarzan!” she had told him as he had started to walk into the water, “Who’s Tarzan?” he asked, a bit jealous.

“Don’t fret. He’s a milksop compared to you.” she told him as they headed further into the waters now as Bobo looked to Liz, “So you got sick underwater. That doesn’t mean I don’t still…” he had started to say, unsure on how to tell her, “Still what?” she had asked him and hearing that, he had decided that it was time to act as he had went and kissed her fully on the lips, and she was more than happy to reciprocate.

Nammu had went and walked over and as she had done so, Nammu had grinned as she had whistled, making the others all look towards her, “Looks like everyone’s having fun.” she had said and hearing that, Sandra had grinned, “You find yourself a boy while you were away?” she had asked of her, making Nammu look disgusted, “No offense, Sandy, Liz,” she had told the two.

“But I would rather couple with Beemer than a surface boy.” she had said towards them and hearing that, the girls thinking of Troy had agreed with that, “There was a particular one called Troy who had grabbed at my ass, so I had dropped him onto the floor.” she had said, making the girls like their more fiery friend there as she had went to go and have some fun for now.

As the three of them had went and started to swim through the waters, Nammu in the lead while the two boys were feeling the love, “SO what’s going on with Sandra?” she had asked of the boys and hearing that, the two of them were worried right now, looking at her with confusion right now as she had looked towards them and the two were a bit confused right now.

“No idea.” Namor said, “Do you?” Bobo had asked, making Nammu sigh at that, “You boys are so stupid.” she had told them before going and starting to swim, “Where are you going?” Namor had asked of her, “Princess Namora wants me to check something out with her, no boys  allowed.” she had said with a grin, flipping them the bird, one of the few things she liked about the surface.

8/18/1936, Pierce Oil Rig, Pacific Ocean

Nammu and Namora had went and started to swim around it, “What do you think this is?” Nammu had asked, having look to see what it was for as they had seen that there was some sort of teeth at the end of it, seeming to try and devour the stone that was below, “Why would a device like this be built?” She had asked as Namora had thought, “Some sort of Surface Dweller Burrower?” Namora had asked.

“That is some sort of machine, something that they use to search for something.” she had muttered, fascinated by it as they had worried, “We should keep watch, make sure that it is not dangerous.” Namora had said and hearing that, Nammu had found a ledge that was available, “I’ll take first watch.” she had told the princess who had smiled, going to swim away to set up a watch for the strange machine.

The three of them had went and walked up and as they did so, the girls had went to go and approach them, “Sandy–” “Would you like to come to dinner with my parents?” she had asked, surprising the three of them at that before Namor had grinned, “Yes!” he had said towards her, “I would love to finally meet your parents.” he had said towards her as Bobo looked to Liz.

“Would you like to walk the beach with me, Liz?” Bobo had asked of her, making Liz smile at that, “Yes, I would.” he had said to her before they went, the two couples splitting up, so Nammu decided to head back, “Where are we heading first?” Namor had asked of Sandra, “We just need to make a stop first, to prepare for dinner on Friday.” she had told him, making him smile as he followed.

8/19/1936, Mitford Tailor, Long Beach

Namor had looked at the clothes that were at the window, wearing a tan button down with some brown shorts, Sandra was at the counter at the moment, “I am afraid we can no longer offer credit to madam.” the tailor had told her, “Not until the outstanding amounts have been paid.” the tailor had warned of her, upsetting Sandra at that as she had went and stormed out.

As Namor saw her, he was confused, “What’s the matter?” he asked, his ears sharp, but not knowing what ‘credit’ was, “They… they’ve sold out of suits.” she had said to him, making him a bit curious, “I’ll just have to borrow one for you, then.” Sandra had said, thinking, “I don’t understand. What’s the big deal anyway, why do I need a suit?” he had asked, it was just the parens.

At that, she had turned on him with a determined look, “You wanted to meet my parents, didn’t you?” she had asked him, making him a bit confused, “Yeah, since you’ve met my folks, I wanted…” he had started, making Sandra walk away, “Well, they want to meet you for dinner on Friday.” she said, making him smile, surface traditions were strange, but so amusing to watch.

Nammu had been watching it as always, at least until she had heard the sound of swimming, making her look to see Beemer and some of his friends there, “We’re pretty far out for a regular patrol, Beemer.” one of them had said to him, “Fish stocks in this area are down.” he had told them, “Something’s forced them…” he had started, at least until he saw it, “…away.” he had said in shock while Nammu knew this was trouble.

8/21/1936, Pierce Summer House, Long Beach

The four of them were seated, Mr. Pierce at the head of the table, the maid behind him, Sandra and Namor on his left with his wife on his right as the ate, “And what does your family do, Namor?” Mrs. Pierce had asked of their guest, “They make their living from the sea, ma’am.” he had said, like every member of Atlantis did, they had no need for money like the Surface Dwellers did.

“Fishermen.” she had said, as if it was an insult, “Hear that, Henry? FISHERMEN.” she had told her husband who seemed despondent, “Hmphh. Splendid.” he had told her, confusion before angering Sandra, “What are you…?” she had asked before realizing what she was saying, “Mother, you are a hypocrite!” she had shouted, surprising all as Namor put a hand on her arm, “Sandy!” He went.

He would never say anything like that his mother and her parents seemed upset with her, “How dare… Henry!” She had snapped, “Sandra!” Mr. Pierce said before he had looked towards the man in the white uniform that was there at attention, “Lewis, leave us, please.” he said to the man named Lewis, “Sir.” he said before walked away, “You haven’t uncurled your lip all evening!” she snapped to her.

“You’ve sneered at his clothes, the way he eats, his parents and their prospects, none of which are good enough for you!” She had snapped towards them, “They’re good enough for me, but that’s not what you care about.” she had said towards them in anger as Namor tried to calm her down, “Sandy, don’t…” he started to say when her mother had started to tear up towards her.

“You ungrateful little minx! You’re purposely seeing this boy to hurt me.” she had before started to cry out loud, infuriating her father, “Have you quite finished, Sandra? Then go to your room.” he had ordered, pointing to the room, reminding Namor of Thakorr when he had the throne, he got out of his thoughts when Sandra had went and stood up, infuriated by them.

“By the way, I was in Mitford’s  yesterday, and they refused to add anything to the tab.” she had snapped towards them, “Sandy, sit down.” he had told her as her parents got more upset, “Mitford? After all the money I’ve spent on that rag man’s stall…” he had muttered as Sandra had decided to tell them it, “The whole shore knows we’re in the poor house, and you’re looking down your nose at a prince.” she told them.

There was a silence there, at least until they had heard a knocking, “Prince?” Mrs. Pierce had asked in shock as he gave a nervous smile, “Seriously, you don’t expect me to believe…” “A prince, eh?” her mother asked with her father curious, as Namor looked to Sandy, “Why are you doing this?” he asked, “They should know the truth.” Sandra had said as he had turned back to them.

“Honestly, I never would have mentioned it.” he said as Mr. Pierce was thinking, “Well, Sandra, really.” he said as they both started to smile, liking his title, “Tell them where you’re from.” she had told him, “Sandy.” he had said, surprised that she would want him to reveal it like that, when there was a knock again, “Must I answer the door myself, Lewis?” he had asked as Namor decided to obey, “Atlantis.” he said.

Mrs. Pierce had started to cry at that when they had heard a crash, making him stand up in shock, “What in blazes–?” he had asked as the two went and headed to the doorway, “Henry, what is it?” his wife asked, “You stay here.” Namor had ordered as the two headed to there where they saw a fallen Lewis and three workers  that looked angry as Mr. Pierce helped him up, “Lewis, what happened man?” he had asked.

“We’ve come for our money, Pierce.” the lead worker with the wrench had demanded of man, Namor was ready to fight as Mr. Pierce spoke, “Why aren’t you drilling?” he had asked them, “I’ve shut down the rig until we’re paid.” the lead snapped and seeing the danger, he acted, “OUT!” He snapped, pushing all three of them out the home with ease before grabbing the leader, the two others on the ground.

“Easy, lad… there’s no need for that.” Mr. Pierce had told Namor as the leader had struggled in his grasp, “Hiring… striker breakers, Henry?” he had demanded as Namor had let him go, glaring as Henry Pierce had tried to ease him, “No, this boy’s a friend of the family.” he had said towards him with a smile before focusing on the leader, “Now, I don’t have the cash on hand…” “You lying pig!” he snapped.

He had sighed at that before turning to the staff, seeing the chauffeur there, “I’ll have my man give you the keys to the garage.” he had told the blonde, “We can’t eat cars.” he had snapped while Namor was confused at what was going on, “You’ll make more on them than I owe your men in wages.” he explained, “Take them before the bank does.” he had said before his wife spoke, “The bank?” she had asked.

Her and Sandy approached the two with Henry looking down ashamed, “What about Alex?” Sandy asked, “He put up money for the rig.” but he only shook his head, “He invested cautiously, I’m afraid.” he admitted, “I’m afraid everyone knows the well is dry now. The bank is calling in its money early.” he had said, walking in and motioning to the house, “This is all theirs.” he told them.

Hearing that, a crying Sandy hugged her father, “Daddy, I warned you not to risk everything.” she told him, “I don’t blame you, my dear.” he had told his daughter, “You showed me where to put the rig, but you’re not an expert, you weren’t to know.” he told her, “I thought the black stuff on your swimming costume was oil. It’s all my doing.” he admitted as she wiped her tears away.

“You may have given up, Henry, but I’ll not stand by and let them walk all over me. Someone get me the phone, I’ll speak to Lyle Stewart myself.” Clarissa Pierce told them, “Clarissa. Wait…” he started, but she was already off, “…It’s not in Lyle’s hands.” he told her, sounding more and more heartbroken, “I’ll be in my study.” he said before leaving them to do as much.

That was when Namor looked to Sandy, “What’s this about an oil rig? Where?” he asked, “Not where it should be.” she admitted to him as he connected the dots, “The black liquid… why didn’t you tell me?” he asked her, “I didn’t want him taking the oil from Atlantis. Once he starts, there’ll be no end to it. One rig won’t be enough, it’ll never stop… and it will be YOUR world that suffers.” she told him.

Namor had put a hand on her shoulder as she started to get upset, “I don’t want to be the one responsible for destroying Atlantis.” she had told him, “Why would it be bad?” he asked her, “My people and yours, our families working together.” he said, wishing that was the case for his mother and his father back when they were so young in the past, “That’s what I like about you, Namor.” she told him.

“You believe you can make things better.” Sandy said as he wiped away a tear, “But up here, they don’t care about the sea or Atlantis or…” she said and as he saw her so upset, he knew that he had to act, “I need to go talk to your father.” Namor had said before heading to the study, “You’re the prince. I can’t tell you what to do.” Sandy told him as he had went to enter the room.

Namor had seen Henry as he was pouring himself a glass of the alcohol that they so seemed to enjoy, “Namor. Hell of a party, eh?” he had asked, Namor not used to the term, “And other night you’d have found it a crashing bore.” Henry had admitted to the boy as he had poured another glass now, “The way you handled those fellas… that was a marvel.” he said, offering his own glass.

He had went to go and take a sip, but Namor just kept his eyes on the older man, “You shouldn’t worry about Clarissa… always been high strung, even before we were bankrupt.” he had told the Prince, “You’re looking for black liquid?” Namor had asked of the man as he had poured another, “Drilling for the damned stuff for weeks. Not a drop.” he said, “I know where it’s seeping out of the sea bed.” he said to Henry’s surprise.

8/21/1936, Atlantis Pacific Ocean

Namor had swam towards the leak thanks to a dolphin, hearing their arguments, “…not sure, but it looks like a huge guard post.” Beemer said, even after Nammu mentioned the drill part, “The land–livers are preparing for an attack.” he said, annoying the sensible, “An encroachment on Atlantean territory, at the very least.” Xarina added as Namorhad come to explain the truth.

“It’s a drill. They’re looking for THIS… the black liquid.” he told them, “You know about this, Namor?” Korra asked him, “I just found out. They want to drain it, take it away!” he explained to them, “And use it for what, honey?” his grandmother questioned, “It’s a front for a dry invasion.” Beemer snapped, “You’ve barnacles for brains.” Namor said as they looked to Thakorr, “I don’t know what they want it for.” he admitted.

“But we want rid of it, and this way, we’ll have ties to the land, as well!” he told them, “The land only takes, it never gives back. Why should we offer them anything?” Beemer asked, “It’s true that trade is a stronger bond than marriage.” Korra had mediated, “They have medicine and machines we want in exchange.” she told them, “But anyway, their drill is in the wrong place.” Namor admitted.

“They’ll need our help to move it here.” he told them all, “If this ‘drill’ is so innocent, why didn’t they ask our advice in the first place?” Beemer said as his mother shushed him, “Quiet, son. The King and Queen will decide.” she told him, “But Mom, you said…” he went, at least until she motioned for silence, “We have to act now, or the rig will be taken back to land and we’ll have missed out chance!” Namor told them.

At that, they had all looked towards the ink, ho dangerous it was to their home, and if there was a way to deal with it… “Don’t just drift, then. Move!” Korra had said for her husband as they had all started to move for their own agendas, all of them getting ready for what was going to come next for them and as they had done so, Namor was glad that he had a family as kind as this.
