Somewhere in a dark alley way a boy from California runs away, dark streets and broken glass. Running from shadows that know his name but not he’s face and he, he tried to not let it get to him to be someone hoping when the morning comes he’s not some hit and run. The town knew that the new comer’s disappeared here. Snatched up with nothing left but a scream and a drop of blood. Bodies found torn apart and burned and no one bated an eye it’s been like this since the town was built. Better to have the new comers than the parents with children.
The boy from Cali ran down a dead end no where to run or hide, just a prayer like liquor on his lips that he’d wake in his own bed in the morning. That this was nothing more than a dream. Slow stalking foot steps followed almost silently except for the purposefully stepped on Broken glass and looming shadow that got closer and closer and- a shriek was heard through the quiet town the same as always a missing local and a drop of blood left behind.
