In Alpine’s defense she didn’t know what it was but figured if she doesn’t like water. It can’t be good for her dad besides that’s a lot of standing water. What if he drowned?! Who would feed her?! She requires special Friskies and Tuna dang it!! Be brave Alpine you’re fearless and hungry!!
One for the money two for the show
*kerplunk*
*Cue meowing and splashing chaos*
Bucky was pulled out of his bliss by the sounds of his fearless fur baby. Currently drowning in his bath, how she even got up and in is beyond him. Quickly he scooped her up into one large hand while she meowed pathetically. Buck counted his blessings that he’d skipped the essential oils this time. Sighing as she attempted to shake herself dry when placed on the bathroom floor.
Alpine was wet.. cold and most of all throughly humiliated. So much for fearless and hungry she looks like the alley cat over on fifth. All that’s missing is rampant mange and alopecia on her tail. She meowed pathetically again and made a futile attempt to groom herself. Alpine would need a towel dry STAT as well as some cuddles and treats for her trauma. Reason number two why water is the epitome of evil in her opinion. That’s when she noticed her beautiful pink collar Bucky had gotten her is soaked through. And cue an absolute feline meltdown she’d become attached to it.
Once Buck was done with his own bath he worked on calming his precious fur baby. And like any responsible cat owner Bucky googled whether he should take her to the vet. Which the answer was no, she’d kept her head above water the entire two minutes she was flailing. Bucky swaddled her in a towel and just sat on his bathroom floor with her. While she worked out her big feelings which she expressed by incessant loud meowing. Her collar would survive once it dried anyway and floor cuddles give Buck a chance to avoid the world.
