Under the willow tree
Summary
Ava is just happy to be spending time with Bea

The sun rose on yet another completely uneventful day. For most that would seem like possibly the worst thing that could happen but for someone such as Ava Silva a completely uneventful day always seemed to be the most well eventful. Stretching out in a slightly warm bed with sunlight streaming through her curtained windows before stumbling her way through their apartment to the kitchen. Today's breakfast seemed to consist of blueberry pancakes. They had been a time where Ava would spend her days in an extremely cold bed with a breakfast that consisted of only a grey slopping gruel. She had attempted to make Bea breakfast was and only once. Ava was now banned from entering the kitchen without Beatrice's express permission.

"Hey, are you just going to stand there or can I get a good morning kiss.                                                                                                    " Mhmm I don't know are you just going to stand there or are you going to allow me to enter".This was met with an incredibly exasperated fond eyeroll. Ava was pulled into the kitchen by her waist before she could reply. She wanted to resist but Beatrice was an undeniable force that always seemed to be drawing her in. What was meant to be a chaste morning kiss turned into slow soft and sleepy kisses.

"Your pancakes are going to get cold" Bea attempted knowing that it was probably futile. Her Ava just further burrowed her face into Beatrice's neck. They stayed like that for a while before Ava decided that she was too hungry. So they ate their pancakes in relative silence occasionally broken by the odd remark from Ava about a show she watched or the museum the two had visited the day prior. It did not take long for the pair to finish of their breakfast and then it was time to decide what they wanted to do today. The pair found themselves in Madrid, Ava had always wanted to explore the city and Beatrice would follow Ava anywhere she wanted to go. It was not long before they decided that after the 'strenuous' day yesterday, today would be best spend relaxing at heir favourite spot with a good book(Beatrice) and a fidget toy(Ava)

There was a tall willow tree in the park along the path walk that led to the lake. Beatrice had set down a pick nick blanket and had prepared lunch for her girlfriend and herself. Beatrice sat with her back to the tree and an ancient book in her hand. Ava had wandered off after some labrador. Beatrice was not shocked about the fact that her partner had become distracted as she so often did. She was entirely convinced that ava had undiagnosed ADHD. Speak if that which defeated the devil and she shall appear. "Do you think we could get a dog" "Ava we travel far to often to get a dog I mean we're leaving for Paris in 2 weeks. I don't think it's a good idea". It wasn't hard to miss that Ava was feeling dejected. But before Bea could speak up the other girl had already plopped down beside her lover before wiggling into Beatrice's embrace. She was aware that he girlfriend was probably entirely correct. Ava gazed at Bea as if she was expecting something and somehow Beatrice knew she always knew Ava said that if the halo was her powers than Beatrice's was her 'Ava senses'. So with that in mind Beatrice began to read out loud she didn't bother translating for Ava a the book was certainly something her lover would find incredibly ordinary and boring.

They spent along time under the tree only accompanied by the sound of Beatrice's calm soothing voice. Eventually the sound was bells ringing interrupted their reading enough so that Ava got distracted. She went in search of the sounds. When she came back she had two ice creams in hand one in a cup the other a sugar cone it was easy to differentiate which was whose. One was bright pink the other a muted green with specks chocolate.

The sun set on yet uneventful day. And to Ava and Beatrice it was the best day ever  as most days were especially when the couple spent it together.
