Chapter 2

Peter slurped on his smoothie as he sat across from Tim, slouching over the restaurant’s table. They were hanging out in private but were seated near a window that allowed them to view out.

Tim, also slouching over his drink as he slurped at it with a bored and listless expression. Peter mirrored him.

“How’s Stark been,” Tim asked.

Peter hummed. “He’s still trying to upstage Mr. Wayne.”

Tim huffed. “Bruce is the same.”

Peter nodded. “They’re obsessed with trying to one up each other.”

Peter looked out the window, his eyes stopping on the fancy black sports car stationed right outside. He was surprised Tim had ridden in on it, what with his dislike of showing off. The car practically screamed expensive.

“And the car?” Peter pointed his chin at the car outside.

Tim glanced over. “Bruce,” was his only answer.

“Ahh.” Peter didn’t need any further explanation. “He knew we were meeting up?”

“Yep.”

Tim slurped at his smoothie and then ate a fry.

“And that car?”

This time, Tim pointed at the red and gold sports car outside.

Peter followed his gaze and frowned, his eyebrows scrunching up.

“Mr. Stark.”

Tim laughed at him. “Let me guess. He threatened not to let you use the labs?”

Tim laughed even harder at Peter’s out of admission.

“Whatever.”

Peter rolled his eyes and stole a fry from Tim. He ignored the protests that came from him.

Tim slams the tablet down and Peter frowns next to him. They both turn to stare at Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark respectively.

“Seriously?” Tim begins to pace. “This is too far. What on earth would an amusement park marketed around Peter or I even do?”

“No one would attend an amusement park that’s about me.” Peter frowns. “What on earth were you thinking, Mr. Stark?”

Mr. Stark shrugs. “Just wanted to share your cuteness with the world, Underoos.”

Peter’s face scrunched up but it’s definitely not a pout.

“Uh huh. Yeah sure,” Peter responds.”

Tim sighs and shakes his head.

“This is an intervention. Enough is enough.”

“But,” Bruce Wayne starts before being cut off by Tim.

“No buts, ifs, and or.”

Mr. Wayne slouches, and by slouches Peter means his shoulders just barely move down.

Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne both sigh but reluctantly agree.

Tony Stark and Peter Parker stand before Bruce Wayne and Timothy Drake. All four are in casual clothing and ready for a fun day at the brand new amusement park named P & T, short for Peter and Tim.

Both teens groan.

“You have got to be kidding me.”

Peter hangs onto Tim.

“Please,” he begs, slouching over and placing the back of his hand against his forehead. “Woe is me. I can’t handle this embarrassment.”

Tim, holding onto Peter, lets a lone, single tear slowly make its way down his cheek. He embraces Peter passionately and hides his face in the nook between Peter’s neck and his shoulder.

“Don’t worry,” he murmurs passionately. “At least together we shall die.”

For the first time ever, like a miracle, both Tony and Bruce stare at the two teens in exasperation.

“I’m getting embarrassed just looking at you, Underoos,” Tony sighs.

Bruce reluctantly agrees with Tony Stark of all people.

Tim and Peter let go of each other and shrug.

“Take it as payback.”

They move to enter the theme park and the two adults follow, trailing behind the two teens who, despite showing clear reluctance, are now happily looking over the place. They do tend to cringe and turn around while rapidly walking away anytime they’re forced to see a giant image of their face plastered on walls or rides.

“I want a corn dog.”

Peter points at a stall and looks back at Mr. Stark.

Tim hums and looks over the stall’s menu.

“I’ll get some cotton candy then.”

The ordering was normal but when it came time to pay, problems arose.

“I will pay,” Bruce ground out, a plastic smile plastered on his face as he looked at Tony.

Tony’s smile was sharp.

“No, I should pay.”

“I have more than enough money,” Bruce said. “I should pay.”

Tony’s expression twisted slightly.

“And I don’t?”

Tony moved closer to Bruce, practically baring his fangs.

“Listen here you son of a-”

“Mr. Stark,” Peter interrupted. “Tim and I already paid. Stop drawing attention.”

Tony huffed but moved away.

“Count yourself lucky.”

Bruce stared after him, his hands clenched.

Bruce Wayne And Tony Stark Found To Be Dating! Here’s An Image Of  A Passionate Kiss They Shared

Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne dating? What then happened to Pepper Potts? Could it be that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts shared a private break up? Or could we have uncovered a passionate but secretive affair?…

Peter stared at the image of Mr. Stark practically covering Mr. Wayne’s face as he leaned forward. Unbeknownst to the outside people, Mr. Stark was practically about to murder Mr. Wayne.

Still, Peter smirked and looked up at Mr. Stark, who was currently contemplating jumping off the building.

“You aren’t cheating on Ms. Potts, are you?”

Mr. Stark gasped dramatically as always and jumped down from the ledge.

“Of course not. Who do you take me for?”

Mr. Stark waved his arms about passionately.

“She’s the love of my life, my muse, my everything. Without her I’m nothing.”

Peter looked back down at the title of the article.

“That’s not what the tabloids are saying,” Peter sing-songed.

Mr. Stark sobbed.

“Goodbye cruel world,” he yelled and then proceeded to jump off the building.

Peter stared, unimpressed. That man was crazy.

Bruce Wayne clutched the article in his hand, crumpling it.

“My lawyers shall hear about this,” he murmured.

Nightwing, standing a few feet away from Batman, looked at him funny. Batman had been acting weird ever since he picked up some article from the ground a few minutes ago.

Nightwing shrugged after deciding it was nothing important and grappled away. It was none of his business.
