A Little Help
The spider sat in his room, attempting to meditate when he was suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Hey kid, can I come in?" Bucky asked.
"Okay."
The door opened. The man with the metal arm walked in and sat on the bed next to him.
"Listen kid, the team and I need to have a talk with you. I just wanted to warn you so it doesn't catch you off guard."
"What kind of talk?"
"We're worried about you. I was with HYDRA once, and I know you must be very confused right now."
The boy blinked. Confused? The Winter Soldier should be the confused one, considering how he abandoned HYDRA and cause them to loose their greatest weapon.
"I just.. I just don't know what to do." Паук isn't sure what to say, so he just says what feels right.
"I get it. I was there myself once. Listen kid, you need someone to talk to. We can hook you up with some of the best therapists in the country-"
"Therapist? I'm not crazy."
"No one thinks you're crazy. Sometimes people just need a little help."
Паук sighed. "Okay. I will talk to the team."
"Thanks kid." Bucky smiled. "Now come on, everyone is waiting for us."
Паук and Bucky walked into the room together, and all eyes were immediately on them. The room got very silent and tense.
"Why is everyone staring at me like that?" The spider asked.
"We're just worried about you, son." Steve said.
"Yeah, kid. Now, can you please tell us what HYDRA would tell you?" Tony questioned.
"Well... they said you were evil. That the avengers wanted to take over the world and stop HYDRA from making it a better place. They also told me that if I ever left, I would be killed."
"Damn.." Tony whispered. "Listen kid, you have to talk to someone."
"I know."
"And don't worry about HYDRA, we can keep you safe here." Natasha said.
"Okay." Паук nodded.
"I also need to tell you something I overheard before I escaped."
"What?" Tony questioned.
"HYDRA is planning to build a very dangerous weapon in Germany, at one of their bases. It could take the whole country out."
Паук was slightly nervous that they wouldn't believe him, but fortunately they took the bait.
"Holy shit." Bucky murmured.
"Thank you for telling us. We'll take care of it." Natasha spoke.
The rest of the team nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, the spider almost laughed. He couldn't believe how gullible the avengers were, really. They really took the eavesdropping of a 15 year old kid for truth? He almost couldn't believe it.
Паук yawns. "Can I go back to bed now?"
"Sure kid." Bucky answers. "Just be sure to ask Friday if you need anything."
"Yes, sir." Паук says as he makes his way back to his room.
