The Date
"Mints? Heels!" Kara nodded and Nia shook her head. "Are you going?" Kara didn't answer, "Maybe? I think I'll get started on the article for Cat, call me later?" Nia nods, "Of course! Bye Kara." "Byeeee," Nia says and hangs up the phone.
Kara sighs, after around 45 minutes she finished her article. Maggie was on the couch sick with her cold. Alex wasn't off from work so she couldn't take care of her, it only felt right that Kara let her stay in her apartment. She slowly got up, changes, and tip toed to the living room, "I'm going to head out I'll be back soon. Call me if you need anything." Maggie sleep nods and Kara flys out the window.
"Supergirl! You made it." Lena says feeling the slightest bit giddy. Supergirl smiles and takes a moment to admire Lenas figure. She was in a black skirt and a low hanging green top. It showed off everything so perfectly, green was so her co- "So shall we get started?" Lena interrupts Kara's thoughts as she guides Kara to the center of the room. "We will be going to a club so I think we should practice dancing first. Any song recommendations?" Supergirl nodded, she wanted to say something cool, so Lena thought she was cool. "Taylor swift .. ah.. All. All To Well."
Lena giggled at Supergirl who just blushed, "Oh.. you're serious?" Kara nodded and Lena laughed even harder. She turned on a song Kara didn't even know and began dancing to the rhythm. She motioned for Kara to join her and pulled their body's close to eachother. "Supergirl.. do you not dance?" Supergirl shook her head and Lena raised an eyebrow, "We will have to do something about that then won't we?" The way Lena says it makes Supergirls whole body sweat.
"Follow my lead."
For the next 30 minutes Lena teaches Supergirl how to dance to club music and eventually she gets the hang of it. Lena orders pizza and tired Supergirl collapses on the couch. She goes off to her room to use the bathroom and comes back in 5 minutes looking a bit more freshened up. "Now for kissing practice?"
Lena walks over to Supergirl who is sitting down. She stands up and brushes her skirt off, "So should we kiss on the cheek first?" Lena asks and Supergirl nods. She can sense the girl of steel's nervousness so taking it slow could ease her nerves. Lena moves a strand of hair from Kara's face and tucks it behind her ear, she puts both of her hands on Kara's shoulders and leans in to peck her on the cheek.
Kara's heart rate picks up and her cheeks turn red. Lena's breath smells like light pepper mint and her scent of almost like a freshly grown flower. When Lena pulls back she notices Supergirl is frozen. "Was that ok?" Supergirl opens her mouth but no words come out, suddenly her phone rings and she silences it without taking it out of her skirt pocket. "I...have to go ..but that was.. ah, yeah. See you tomorrow for the date." Lena feeling a bit disappointed nodded as Supergirl walked toward the balcony. "Wait!"
Supergirl turned around and Lena felt the slightest bit flustered, "Can.. I have your number?" Supergirl nods, "Give me yours and I'll .. give you mine." Lena writes it down on a piece of paper and hands it to Supergirl. "Text me before you go to bed?" Lena asks smirking, Supergirl blushes before saying, "You know it."
Kara flys to the DEO and she heads to Winn's office. Lucy is in there leaning somewhat close to Winn and Kara notices. "Winn!" Winn stands up from his seat abruptly and Lucy giggles. "Do you have that extra phone?" Winn nods and goes to his drawer to get it, "It is infact the newest model, why do you need it?" Kara doesn't answer, "I uh.. just Gimmie the phone." Winn tosses it and Kara catches it. "Thanks, bye Winn, bye Lucy!"
Once Kara is home she sees Alex on the couch with Maggie. "Well well, someone looks aweful smug?" Alex says and Maggie half asleep groans. Kara blushes and sits down at the kitchen stool. She takes out the phone she got from Winn it's j. an all black phone case. "Is that a DEO phone?" Kara nods as she enters in Lenas number. "I think I'm going to head to bed now I'm tired but I'll see u in the morning."
Kara heads to her room and closes the door. She begins to write a text to Lena.
Unknown number: Hey Lena this is Supergirl
Lena 💚: Going to bed?
Girl of steel 💪🏻: Yeah, just wanted to tell you goodnight.
Lena 💚: Thx, Goodnight Supergirl
Girl of steel 💪🏻: Goodnight Lena, sweet dreams
Kara sleeps in late and does things around the house. When it's time for the date she flys into the bar. Lena texts that she has arrived and Kara sees her in a corner with her phone. "Supergirl!" Lena was in a short black dress that made Supergirl feel hot just by looking at her. "Wow.." Lena laughs and Kara blushes, "You look amazing in your outfit as usual."
Supergirl smiles as a drink is handed to her by a waiter. "Lena is this for you?" Lena shook her head, "I think I would die if I drank that. You deserve a break, Im going to stay sober and you can drink."
Hesitant Supergirl doesn't drink right away. They are out in public and she is dressed as Supergirl, "One.. drink and maybe ...I'll have some later?" Lena nods and Supergirl takes a few long sips of her drink. "Oh my Rao this is so good!" Lena nods and smiles at Supergirl, more people have surrounded them in the club and a few photos have been taken. "Let's dance?" Lena asks and Kara nods.
Kara dances on the floor with Lena for what feels like hours stopping to take drink's in between. She only drank water, despite Lenas offer she didn’t feel ready to drink in public. Suddenly a slow song comes on, Supergirl pulls Lena into her body and stares at her. The song perfect was playing and Kara just followed Lena to the rhythm. Eventually she picked Lena up and spun her around. Lena giggled and Kara smiles at her. Supergirl pulls Lena in and leans in to her. "Guys! The cameras have been set up it's time for the kiss!"
Kara slowly backs away from Lena trying to hide her disappointment she didn't get to keep dancing. "Don't worry darling we have so much more time for stuff like this." Lena whispers into Kara's ear. They both walk out the bar, "Ready?" Kara asks and Lena doesn't respond so Kara decides to clarify, "To fly?" Lena turns a few shades lighter and shakes her head, "Heavens no! I am taking a ca-" "We don't have tim- wait.. are you scared?"
Lena clears her throat, "No.. no no I'm not!" "Awww the big bad scary Luthor is afraid of a little flying?" Kara teases and Lena doesn't respond, she just blushes a deep shade of red and Kara instantly regrets what she said. "I'm just joking you'll be fine. Ready... 3.. 2..1!"
Supergirl scoops lena up and flys her to the rooftop. It only takes 30 seconds and Lena is relieved. "Alight guys now Supergirl take Lena by the hand"
Lena grabs Supergirls hand and turns her toward her body. "Alright now look like you guys are gazing into eachothers eyes and like you can't resist eachother."
Kara blushes and leans in. She doesn't know what she's feeling or what comes over her, maybe it's the weather, maybe she still is under the weather, maybe it's the alcohol but she leans in and kisses Lena.
Lena kisses back slowly and softly teasing Kara. Kara deepens the kisses and Lena with her tongue plays with Kara's mouth and bites her lip at the- Let's just say it's a really good kiss.
"Wow! 3 minutes!" Lena slowly backs away as she hears Colonel Haley. "I think that's all we need you two can go home, until the next date."
Lena looks at Kara smugly and she doesn't even have to finish the question. "D-do you wanna-" Lena grabs Kara's comm and her own, she turns them off and puts them in her pocket. "Oh Fuck yes."
Kara flys Lena to her penthouse and slowly begins taking off Lenas clothing. She already locked all the doors and closed all the windows making sure to put the drape fully over it.
"I always wondered what it would be like to be railed by the Girl of of Steel," Lena said and Kara smirked. "Wanna find out?"
