City Drop, Part 3
Libba and Beth followed Raelle as they moved to the right of the village. Slowly as there went. They noticed the car that the Glory group found. Raelle halted, quickly checking the back of the truck and noticed a few things. That for a witch you would know any different but as she was raised by a civilian and an outcross who loved civilian stuff.
It was a faded light blue tool box. She climbed into the back and flipped it open. Inside the tool box was a handful of tools. And at the bottom of all this, was a brand new gun. Most of the civilians she had learnt that most civilians would hide something like this in almost plain sight. It almost made her chuckle.
She picked it up, it was a sliver with a dark brown handle. She spun the cylinder, inside was two already fired rounds and four not yet fired. She checked the bottom and found a small leather bag full of rounds. With a check there were about twenty rounds. She changed the rounds already fired for fresh ones. And holdest the weapon in her belt and placed the round in her jacket pocket.
After jumping off the truck, they both looked at her weirdly. Beth stood there mouth open but said nothing. Libba was a little less so, but still weirded out.
“You'll be surprised how scared civilians get with guns over witches. Even with our work, there. Well i can show you later”
Libba steps forward, “fine, but you're showing me how it works. Just in case”
With that Raelle pulls out the gun and points it away from them. After a moment Libba nob, “i think i get it. This part” pointing to the cylinder. “Hold round and then you pull the trigger and bang it shoot it”
“Yep” with that tuck it back into her belt.
They all moved off toward the back side of the houses that lined the right side of this village.
At the first house Raelle noticed a small alleyway. Libba also noticed the alleyway. She halted and looked at them both.
And whispered, “get your knife out, if we get attacked. You're, be ready. Once we exit, get your scourge ready. Don’t use work, or farspeech.”
Libba nob, understanding why she would order that. And did just that, pulling out her knife that she kept on her belt on her back at an angle. It was a little longer than a standen knife, given to her by what she called a mystery lover when she was younger. Still with everything, she didn’t mention how gave her, it. One of few mysteries that she was ok not knowing.
Beth on the other hand spoke loud, “i get your experience and all, but no”
Before she could finish Raelle had covered her mouth with her hand. Libba looked down the alleyway. And her heart sank, she noticed movement. Off to the right at the far end.
“Do you want to die”
Beth shook her head. ‘No’.
“Then, trust me. This isn’t a game. I do, ready want everyone to get home alive. So pull your knife, and don’t hold back. Libba I need you to go with Beth, to the second story, she will be our overseer.”
Libba almost dragged Beth off toward the garden of the first house. Raelle watched them enter the building with ease. The door opened easily. She prayed to the goddess that both would be ok, alongside Pinshocks unit.
She moved down the alleyway. Knowing that at the end she would be attacked. She didn’t pull her knife out. She had a plan, knowing that Libba and Beth were gone she would get loose a little.
And just as she thought. At the end two stood there at the end there rifles on their shoulders. She smiled at them as they quickly gathered themself and pointed their rifles at her. She holds her hand up just than two knives coming out of nowhere and both of them drop dead, with knives in their heads. Raelle would have been surprised if not for hearing them opening the back door a moment before the knife went flying.
“Good, throw, you guys.”
Both Beth and Libba step out of the back yard. They both walked over to them and pulled off their knives. Wiping on their clothes. Raelle walked over to them and started to check their clothes for anything. And found a radio in one of their back pockets. And handed it to Libba.
“Tech” is all she says As Libba takes it and attaches it to her belt.
Beth knelt down beside Raelle and whispered, “I saw the terran, it looked like they are being held not too far from here.”
“I am going in first, going to take them head on. Libba takes my left side. And Beth our witches.”
“Understood,” they said together.
“Why didn’t you both stay inside?” Raelle says standing up, looking over the rifle one of them was holding.
“I had a feeling that you were going to get hurt. I couldn’t allow it” Libba says. With a thought.
With a smile she unloaded the rifle and dropped it. She quickly does the same with the other rifle and discarding the ammo in the bush a distance away.
“For now on, no speaking. We walk in parallel lines. Both will holt at the edge of their camp, I will carry one. Once I engage them your cue, to move in.”
“We got it, '' Beth said. Finally putting her knife away and removing her scourge.
Libba did the same, removing her scourge. All three of them gave a firm nob and together a few feet to the right and left there moved toward the camp.
As they got close Raelle noticed the witches that were being held. Their hands behind their back. She could tell that one of them was dead. Just by the way they looked and slumped against the tree. That to the right of them.
The dark voice came back this time with a lot more force. And this time Raelle didn’t fight it. Her walk turned into a sprint and she rushed them. Taking them by surprise. Without hesitation, Raelle let out a black mist. From her hands. It quickly gathered together and within seconds began to attack the Camarilla.
She didn’t count how many there were. And right now she didn’t care. She didn’t hear the witches scream, she just attacked the Camarilla. One after another, until almost seven men were down, by her hand, another six by the black mist. And slowly come back to her. And with a touch slit back into her skin.
She turned to see Libba take down a guy that was holding something in his hand.
“Libba found that blocker.”
With a deep breath she started to look around the camp, at the different equipment. As Raelle dealt with the remaining men and one woman. At the final person Raelle knelt down to face them, eye to eye.
“How many, more” her voice was laced with her working.
After a second, like it was trying to hold back said forcefully, “there are 50 more. Up in the school house and around that area”.
“Are your leaders here?”
Once again like it was forced out of him, “yes”
With a smile, “you better than the other guy, finally question. How many dampers and where are there?”
“Each group has one” he quickly shut his mouth trying to not complete his task.
“A fighter” Raelle says with a little sigh.
She looked over to Beth and finally the horror fell back in. All three of them were dead. Propped to look like they were alive. She saw stuff, in the cession, there was no way around that but this level of disrespect got her good. No more playing nice. Not like she was playing nice to begin with. She looked back at him, her eyes going hard. Not allowing him to see her pain.
She pulled out the gun in her belt. Pulled back the hammer. And pressed the barrel against his head. “Witches are not to be scared off. They have power, yes. But so do your people, the Camarilla. And yet you're pissing yourself. I know what you should really be scared of. Me, Raelle Stone Collar.”
His eyes went wide but before he could say a word. She fired.

Alder stands up, a soft ringing in her ear. She looks at her fellow witches. Knowing one else seems to be effective, by this. But she knew this all too well.
"Bring Lt: M. I have an assignment for them. Rest of you get your unit. I want them to march around the base."
They all stopped and turned to General alder. There had been this meeting with updates for the past half hour. Know one knew where this was coming from. And so the lead speaker of this meeting simply asked, “Is something the matter?”
“No, but you have your orders. Your dismissed”
With a little confusion they all left Alder alone. Following her order, which Alder was thankful for. She stepped to the window where she could the edge of camp. As the first unit started making their match.
There was a soft knock on the door. She turned to the door, “enter”
The door pushed open and stood there in the doorway. Was a well built bold person, M. there stepped inside and closed the door.
“Have you felt it” was the first thing Alder asked.
“Yes”
“Take your unit and disarm them, tell them we are under attack. Once you're done. Farespeech me. Once you do, I will send out a full attack. In all directions. Your team will head straight to the city drop.”
M quickly left the room, and sprinted toward her tent. That they stare with their unit.
“Everyone gather your equipment, we have an assignment.”
Everyone gets up from their bucks all of them already ready only need to add their weapons and combat hoods.
One of them, a little shorter than M spoke. “Is that want Alder wanted”
“Yes, Gregorio. We need to move now. We have no time. This whole base in under surveillance”
At, got both her unit mates to freeze.
“Look, our mission is to take out the dampener that surrounds the base. I can feel them. Not many witches can, only if they have Autism.” M cast her eye elsewhere.
When Alder found out that not only there were Non-binary but also, had Autism. She had created a unit where all of them had their difficulties. But together was a strength, to do tasks that Alder, herself would order them. As they only take orders from her alone. It has been two years to the day.
The younger of the three, but a few years older than Raelle, herself stepped forward and held M arm. “We already knew that”
M didn’t make eye contact, “i am gradful”
They both understood that this was M way of showing their appreciation. They didn’t stick around for small talk. As all three of them didn’t really understand it. So they just avoided it. All of them looked at each other and headed off to the bunks with a quick nob. Pulling on their combat hoods and their tactical belt. That holds their scourge, knife and a pouch. That carries their medical equipment. Which wasn’t a lot. Most herds to, dull pain. So their healer can heal them.
They had trained for this and so were quicked dressed. Leaving their tent. It might be a few days before they would get a good night's sleep.

Time had moved slowly in the last half hour. Alder had been pacing her office. Firing orders to different units. She wanted them to be on high alert without the enemy knowing. If she had told them, then the enemy would know.
You witches have tells, when you know something. She recalls a former leader of the USA.
She wished that wasn’t true. But most if not all witches don’t hide the truth. Once they know something about it. It's hard to put this into words.
As her mind wandered to the past few weeks. Where everything that once was solid to her, had turned to liquid. Her daughter that once she could rely on, had turned to the spree. And nearly killed someone that was helping the army. That investigated a fellow officer, and only informing her, at any point it was so far out of her hand. She could do nothing to help. But, to hold it for a time.
Her mind then drifted to her Sister. She had missed her seen the day she died. Her biggest regret aside from losing her best friend Nicta. Was not saying her sister, Abigail Alder.
Tears rolled down her face. Her biddies, without a word, had taken over her takes. Knowing what Alder wants from her fellow witch. Just as she was falling down the rabbit hole. Of the memories that once were peaceful now that plague her.
A voice broke through her thoughts. She hadn’t noticed the buzzing had stopped. Only with this voice did she realise. Which brought a big relief.
“We have taken five, down. There are three more. But they're further away. Want is our orders”
Just as she was about to send her order. A loud shot rings out.
Everything froze when the shot rang out. Everyone’s hand on weapon, at the ready.
M didn’t need orders anymore.
