Ultimate spider-man

In the stack of comics a new one falls titled "ultimate spider-man #6" recreating the cover of the Amazing Spider-Man vol. 5 #5 with Gwen holding Miles.

Moments before

Prowler punches the last hydra soldier who was still standing at him "tss, I honestly find it hard to believe you guys are the same ones who took over the city, because you go down like..."

Miles' electrical blast interrupts Prowler, he turns to look and touches his ear "Spider-Man..." nothing "Spider-Man do you hear me?" nothing "Miles? Oh crap"

Prowler fires his grappling hook and slashes at him, when he arrives he starts calling out "Miles! Miles! Can you go?" Miles-42 waits for an answer but it never comes "Damn, I'm never going to find him in all this..."

Suddenly a white and pink silhouette comes from behind, Spider-woman pushes Prowler to the floor "Oh, great, more of you" he activates his gloves and lunges at her, she dodges him and knees him in the stomach and throws him to the floor

"Look, I don't know who you are or what you're doing here, idiot, but I don't have time for games, I'm only going to tell you this once" she hits him knocking him out, and throws him against a wall tangling him "get away from Miles"

Somewhere else a piece of the ceiling moves and Miles comes out dragging Miguel 'I don't understand you, you should have just left him there, he tried to let your father die, he even called you a mistake' says Miles' voice

"Yeah, well, unlike him, I DON'T let anyone die, no matter if they're idiots like him, it's just not in me" answers Miles

'Well, I remind you that he'll come back for us eventually'

"Yeah, well... Ugh, forget it, I don't know what else to say, everything hurts, it hurts..." his spider sense activates as a rock is about to fall on him, he raises his fist trying to destroy it but instead of one of his blue rays, a stronger yellow one comes out

When it happens Miles looks at his hand surprised by his new power "Wow, hey... I know you gave me the stingers, the enhanced spider sense and all that, but... Are you sure you didn't have anything to do with this change?" asks Miles watching as sparks fly off his mabo

'I had nothing to do with it. It seems that because of all the stress you've been going through, that must have helped you experience a change in your bioelectric powers'

"So... Thanks to everything that's been happening to me... Did I just unlock a new powder up?"

'That's... That's one way of putting it'

"Okay, let's find Miles-Prowler and not-uncle Aaron and get out of here." Miles gets up and starts limping off to another place, when his spider-sense goes off, but unlike other times, it's not a danger signal, it feels different...

"MILES!" Gwen screams happy to have finally found him and runs straight to hug him

"What...? Ugh" says Miles but is interrupted by Gwen's sudden hug

"YOU'RE OK! YOU'RE OK! THANK GOD YOU'RE OK!"

Miles seems surprised by Gwen's hug, it reminded him of when they finally saw each other after a year....

'i-i don' t know.... How do I tell you'

Miles remembers everything, the lies, the betrayal....

"n-no...." says Miles pushing her away with a small push, when he pushes her away, using his webs he propels himself away from her, landing inelegantly on a small rock, keeping his distance from her

For Gwen's part, she looks at him with wide eyes, the fact that he rejected her like that, is almost as painful as when he broke her web not too long ago.

Miles tries to position himself in a good way, ready to face her but that is really difficult since his foot is killing him.

They stay silent for a little longer, until Miles speaks.

"W-what are you waiting for?" Miles asks with great effort.

He knows what she means, Miles still believes that she is here to catch him.

"Miles... Just... Just listen to me okay?" Gwen tries

"What? After everything you've done? You want me to listen to you? After all the lies you've told me?"

"Miles I... Just leave me...." Gwen is interrupted by Miles

"No... I've heard you enough... I understand... I understand that none of you want the multiverse to collapse... But no... I can't just let my dad die, Gwen" says Miles leaning on his good foot

"No Miles that's not... That's not what I want to do... I... Just believe me okay? Let me explain everything..."

"Excuse me? Believe you? Believe you? What? Have the last few hours not been easy for you? I trusted you! And... And you... You didn't care about any of that" says Miles feeling the tears already welling up in his eyes

"No... That... That's not true... I cared! I care! I care about YOU!" Gwen screams, desperate to make Miles believe her.

Miles puts a hand on his face wiping away some of the tears and blood he had, while Gwen looks at him with wide eyes

"Because I missed you... I wanted to be with you.... It was... YOU WERE all I wanted"

Gwen can feel the tears running down her face. Was Miles really willing to spend his whole life, leaving everything and everyone aside just... For her?

"Miles... I... I didn't know... That you... I didn't.." she can't think of anything to say, no, she knows what to say, she just has to know how to convey it to him

"No, now... It doesn't matter anymore... Just let me go... No
I can..." Miles is interrupted by Gwen

"Miles just... Let me talk, okay? Listen to me..."

"No! I can't anymore... I... he doesn't notice me, so he takes out his left stinger mixed with some electricity

"No! Don't... Come closer... Ugh... Please... I don't want... I don't want to hurt you"

Gwen stops in surprise where she is, a few feet away from Miles. Did Miles have stingers? Gwen She closes her eyes trying to hold back her tears, Miles for his part, doesn't feel much anger towards her anymore, in fact, at that moment he would like to go and comfort her, but he is interrupted when Gwen continues her story

Hearing this made Miles drop his sad expression from a moment ago and turn into a soft smile.

Gwen opens her suit pocket, Miles sees her take out a piece of paper, Gwen hands it to him, Miles takes the paper, when he sees it, his eyes widen

It's the photo that the two of them had taken on the bus, with Gwen smiling holding the phone while Miles appears on the right side showing his teeth, with Peter B.'s legs looking like glue, he turns to look at Gwen who smiles at him nervously

"Did you print it?" Miles says grinning like an idiot

"Yeah, I... I didn't want to risk my phone getting damaged and losing my only memory of you, well, besides this one" Gwen says as she touches the shaved part of her head, right where Miles had pulled out her hair

Miles smiles, she smiles back, Gwen's smile fades, Miles notices and asks

"Everything okay?"

'No more lies, Gwen' he thinks

"A few months ago, after I left my band, my dad got an alert, as the Vulture was reportedly attacking the Guggenheim museum, I went after him to help, well to sum it up, the Vulture attacking the Museum was from another dimension, that's when I met Miguel and Jessica, the three of us stopped the Renaissance Vulture, saved everyone, etc, Jess at that time had suggested to Miguel to let me into society, but he didn't... He wanted me, because he thought I was very close to you" Miles opens his eyes wider and looks at the photo of him and Gwen again

"When everything was solved" Gwen starts again making Miles look at her again "I was trying to regain strength from holding a helicopter that had fallen, but at that moment my father appeared, he tried to... "Was... Was that why you never came to see me?" Miles asks as he slowly backs away, the two of them were sitting together in the rubble (as Miles' foot still hurt)

Gwen nods as she also slowly backs away without letting go of Miles yet

"That... And also because Miguel was constantly on top of me reminding me that if I screwed up, he would send me home, and I wasn't... I wasn't ready to face my dad yet, either because... well... You already know what he thinks about you"

Miles nods and uses his thumb to wipe away a few more tears from Gwen

Miles smiles reassuringly at him and says

"You're not going to lose me" before Gwen can say anything else Miles hugs her again and whispers in her ear

"I forgive you"

Gwen cries again, not out of sadness or bad memories, but because she is now 100% guaranteed that she will NOT lose ANOTHER friend

Moments later Gwen comes out from the rubble, she offers her hand to Miles, when suddenly Miles sees Prowler-42 tangled in the wall, still knocked out "oh shit" he says going to untangle him "wait what are you doing? I already tangled him" Miles looks at her confused while he takes off the webs "wait did you do this?" Gwen looks at him incredulously "yeah, because he's one of the bad guys..."
"oh, yeah right, you don't know, here, the Prowler is good, and he... is me" he says removing his mask, Gwen is surprised by this new revelation "oh" she says realizing her mistake "okay, help me carry him, we'll take him"

"wait why?"

"uhhh.... it's a very long, long, long story, I'll tell you later"

Across the battlefield

Spider-man-1048 throws one of his anti-venom blasts at spider-punk and spider-india, who barely manage to dodge it, spider-punk uses his guitar to stun the symbiote, it backs away but quickly uses the symbiote and snatches the guitar from spider-punk and hits him with it, spider-byte uses several clones of herself that launch themselves at spider-man-1048, but he takes them away with his symbiote blast

spider-man-18119 and spinneret entangle peni's sp//dr and knock him to the ground, spectacular spider-man and spider-man-12041 wrap spider-man-19529 in webs and throw him at spider-noir who in turn crushes spider-ham

"come on, we can still do it, we have to give Gwendy time" he says spider-punk helping spider-noir stand up, sp//dr breaks free from his webs "please surrender, we don't want to fight anymore" spider-man-1048 says

"surrender? that was just the warm-up, buddy" says spider-punk "the real stuff starts now"

Before everyone charges in to attack each other, they all get tangled up in webs, Spider-Ling falls between both teams and says "Wow Wow, everyone relax okay?"

"Annie? What are you doing?" asks her father

"Dad wait, listen to me before you do anything okay? This is very important"

"What's so important that you want us all to be webbed up?" asks Spectacular Spider-Man

"It's important because they need to know that we were wrong, Miguel was wrong"

"What are you talking about?" says Spinneret

"That whole canon thing is a lie, he lied to us all" Gwen told me that

"Oh Annie, you have to be... You can't have believed everything he told you, do you want the whole multiverse to...?" Spider-ling interrupts his father

"No, dad, no universe is going to disappear. Do you remember that canonical event where a police captain was supposed to die? Well, according to Miguel and his stupid algorithm, it had to be Gwen's father who would die, otherwise her universe would end."

"Annie, you're just repeating what we already know..." Spider-ling interrupts him again

"Let me finish, her father quit" everyone looks shocked at each other "and her universe is still standing, which means all that canonical event crap is fake"

"That means..." says spider-man 1048 "that Miguel has been using us, he lied to us, we've been letting people die just because of that madman's theory, oh god, what have we been doing?" annie cuts him off before he can continue "yeah i know, it sounds horrible but now we have a chance to make things right"

The spider-gang looks like they're hoping this will go the way they expect it to "i'm honestly not going to follow that idiot Miguel anymore, fuck his canon, can i go with you guys?" annie asks turning to look at them, hobie answers

"there's always enough room in the gang, for someone else, well for others too" he says looking at Miguel's former accomplices "if they still want to do the right thing"

"of course yes" no answers spectacular spider-nmat "and me, we're not going to let more people die" says spider-man-ultimate "count on the Parker family" says spinneret

"Okay, now we just have to wait for Gwen to find Miles..." the spider-man-like story clock starts ringing "oh look, speak of the devil" he answers and Gwen speaks in the background

"Peter, I have Miles, or well, more than one, the other one is unconscious..." he says pointing at Miles-42 "wait where did that other Miles come from?" Pavitr asks "Oh well, turns out Miles here is the lurker, and I may have mistaken him for a threat and may have knocked him unconscious by accident, well, the first time I tangled him up and the second time I knocked him out. Anyway, come to the bridgeooklynndol , we're out of here" he says hanging up the call

"Okay, you heard her, let's get out of here" says spider-man - like story untangling spider - noir

On the Brooklyn Bridge, Miles and Gwen arrive holding Prowler Miles "and are you sure he'd be okay with us taking him unconscious to another dimension?"

"Yeah, well, no, I mean... I think so..."

Then everyone arrives and Gwen asks seeing the new ones "just a second... What are they doing here? Annie, wait, you..." spider-ling speaks

"yeah, don't worry, I told them everything, about Miguel's garbage events being fake"

"exactly, hey Gwen" says spider-man 1048 "sorry about the fact that no one defended you when Miguel...." Gwen interrupts him

"don't worry, honestly what Miguel did before doesn't matter to me anymore, only what matters is what we're going to...." Gwen is interrupted when some webs fly over her head "stop!" says Jessica along with other spider-men

"I guess you're saying "in the name of the law" now, right? If not, I don't think so, okay team, let's go to land.... Oh shit" she looks at her watch and sees that it's damaged "this has to be... a fucking joke, now?" she sees how everyone starts to chase them but they are stopped by the secret avengers of earth 42

"You guys" says the winter soldier "get out of here"

"Who were you again?" asks spider-bite

"That doesn't matter" says spider-man-1610 "Just activate the clock and we'll fix it wherever we fall"

"I wouldn't recommend it" says spider-punk "I don't think we'll end up in a good place, the multiverse has worse places than this place, once a guy with a shield tried to eat me"

"We have no choice" says Peni "The other option is to get caught, do it Gwen"

The portal is activated and immediately everyone enters, inside the portal....

Everything distorts and immediately many portals open "Gwen!" says spider-man-1610 trying to reach her, but a portal absorbs him and he enters against his will "Miles!" says ghost spider

Earth 616

Spider-Man-1610 falls into the abyss of New York but quickly uses a web to swing himself up and lands painfully on a roof

"Ugh... God, I think I'm not really into falling over buildings like that after entering a portal anymore" he stops and looks at the new New York, "now where the hell am I?" he yells

"Ugh, okay, okay, great, now I'm alone in an alternate universe again! What do I do?" He thinks for a moment and says "maybe he should look for me in this universe" he jumps and starts swinging "or the ultimates, no, the fantastic four, if Reed Richard is as smart as at home then he can be the only one who... But what... the Fuck?"

"Oh man" then Spider-Man from Earth 1610 finds himself face to face with Spider-Man from Earth 616 (MCU)
