A party was taking place on the roof of Rio and Jefferson Morales since Jeff was about to be promoted to police captain. At the party there were family, neighbors and other police officers who had come to congratulate Jefferson, talking about him, Jeff was in his own corner of the party, talking to George Stacy, a friend of his from the police, and his brother Aaron Davis. The three of them were talking until they were interrupted by a question from Rio.

"Jeff, have you seen Miles? I need him to bring me some things," rio ask.

"No, I haven't seen him in a while," Jeff answers.

"Speaking of which, where is Gwen?" George asks.

"Where else do you think they are?" Aaron asks, to which the three turn their heads towards where Aaron was looking, at the water tower, where Miles G. and Gwen M. were eating food from the party.

On the streets of New York, several citizens are attacked by Hydra or AIM agents, but they are quickly saved by a mysterious hooded man.

Prowler helps the man's life up, and is surprised to realize that she is the same Mary Jane Parker, and that in her arms she is carrying her son, Richard, the same child that he saved not so long ago.

'Wow, that kid doesn't seem to want to be out of danger'

"th-thank you uhh... Prowler..." MJ says disconcerted.

"Uhhh, there's no reason for that, Miss Park...I mean, I mean, uhh, ms, a-and....yes," Prowler says haphazardly, trying to make his voice deeper.

Peter Parker from Earth 42 looks in surprise at his wife, who just shrugs her shoulders.

"O-okay, do you... have a place to go? Or...?" Prowler asks.

"Yes, don't worry, we were heading to our apartment, but those guys from Hydra and AIM showed up and cornered us... I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up, I know you said it didn't matter, but... thank you" he says Peter to which he just nods.

"Okay, be careful, these streets really aren't very safe now" says Prowler as he begins to leave.

"Sure, and hey," says MJ, to which Prowler turns to look at her, "no... I didn't know you were a hero too."

"I wouldn't say I'm a hero, I guess... I just feel like I have a responsibility to fulfill" Prowler says, leaving the scene.

Two hours ago in another universe......

In a fortified building with a seal that reads "property of the sinister 6", an explosion occurs, and Prowler and Starling emerge from it, the first with a first aid kit in his arm while the other was dodging shots, while making That's it, they both hide behind a motorcycle

"You better know what you're doing, or I'm sure your uncle will rip my wings off," says Starling.

Prowler sees Starling leaving and thinks

'damn, seriously flying must be cool'

"Looks like your little friend left you Prowler! Get out of there and give us what you stole and maybe you'll have the same luck! Maybe!" says the soldier

"uh, yes, yes of course, let me..." says Prowler as he begins to adjust his gloves "think about it......uh, I already thought about it....."

"be ready" says the hydra agent, anticipating what is coming

"NO!" Prowler says as he comes out of hiding.

lThe shots begin to rain down on him, but he manages to cover them all with his gloves, lands and hits the first two soldiers he encounters, kicks another propelled by his boot, causing him to crash into other soldiers, causing them to shoot. against other of his companions, Prowler grabs a weapon from one of the soldiers, kicks him in the abdomen, and with the butt of his weapon, hits him in the face causing his mask to break, when all the soldiers with weapons were in the ground, the rest with metal sticks, and others with police batons

´Oh, yes, I'm going to enjoy this, yes sir,' Miles thinks at the audacity of these men to carry that in their hands full of blood.

"Alright, let's see how you dance" says Prowler, getting into a combat position.

The soldiers begin to run against him, when the first of these attacks him, Prowler grabs his arm, breaking it.

Prowler manages to take his cane and hits the man in the abdomen. and then hit him with his fist all over the face, finishing off the last of them.

"Pfft, well, I thought it would be more difficult" says Miles, throwing the staff he used to kill the last of them, only for it to fall on top of the soldier whose arm he broke

Moments later Prowler hides on a rooftop, puts his phone to his ear while he waits.

"ah, finally, I thought you never......" Miles is interrupted

"Damn, there you are! Did it have to take you so long to call? For a second I thought about coming back to check on you!" Starling yells into the phone

"Well, you wouldn't have had to, I took down those idiots easily, Octavius should think about hiring more... competent people" says Miles.

"O-okay? Well, in other news, I managed to get to FEAST without being seen, luckily, Electro, I was flying near there, I think they're starting to suspect that most of us are taking refuge there."

"damn, be careful, next time just walk"

"Yes, I think that would be the best...hey, uhhh...excuse me, I have to go M, but hey, I guess we'll see you another day"

"Yes, it doesn't matter, see you star" says Miles, hanging up the phone.

A while later, Miles arrives at Gwen's apartment, when he takes off his mask his phone rings

"Seriously, Miles, you're weird, tell me later then," Aaron says.

When Miles comes down he goes through Gwen's window, he sees if she is anywhere but apparently she wasn't there.

When he was about to take off his jacket to change, his phone rings, Miles groans and takes it out to see that it was a Starling message, a good night sticker with a puppy

"Really? You could send me more important things Tiana" Miles whispers, still dressed as the Prowler.

He was so into his phone that he didn't realize someone was entering the room, not until the light came on.

"Miles?" Gwen asks standing in the doorway.

"AHHH!" Miles shouts, turning around, Gwen stood there, totally in shock, seeing the logo that Miles wears on his chest, the Prowler logo

"G-gwen? I-I....uh.....I" Miles tries to say.

"y-you..... you are....?" Gwen tries to say "are you...? are you...?....PROWLER?!" Gwen shouts.

Miles trying to save this by making an excuse

"what? no, no no, no i'm not the prowler.... it's a.... a cosplay! yeah a cosplay..... you know, to go to comic con or.. ..." Miles is interrupted by Gwen

Miles can hear some nagging from Gwen so he tries to grab her shoulder to get her attention.

"Gwen..." Miles's hand is removed by Gwen with some tears already on her face.

"no," he says softly, "no, Miles....just....no.....do-you know what hurts the most about all of this? w-that you.......Miles you. ...you lied to me.......you have...been lying to me...all these months...." Gwen says with a sad face.

"Is this your job? Is your uncle the other Prowler?" Miles nods, lowering his head.

"Go away" Gwen says, Miles raises his head "Miles just......go away, please....me"

"Gwen wait...just listen to me...I didn't mean to lie to you...I-I was trying to protect you, please, I didn't..." Miles is interrupted, because Gwen puts her hand on his mouth

"Miles, I don't....*sigh*.....I just need to....think about all of this...I....will let you know when I'm ready.....to talk to you again ...this...doesn't mean that you and I are finished.... I just need to think" Gwen says as she removes her hand from Miles' mouth

"But, Gwen...just..." Miles tries but Gwen interrupts him again.

"MILES, please.....just give me some time, okay?" Miles thinks about saying something else... but he just stays silent.

He turns around and stands against the window, looking at Gwen, who has her hands in her pockets, still crying a little.

"I'm sorry, Gwen," Miles says, making her turn to look at him, "I was just trying to protect you, no...I could if someone else...if something happened to you...I...... I couldn't live with that...I'm-sorry, Gwen"

Gwen nods sadly, bowing her head again.

"but, just so you know... the only thing that was true, of everything I said, is... that I love you, I really do... I... I'm sorry, Gwen" says leaving the apartment

When she's all alone, Gwen sits on her bed and sees a photo of her and Miles and whispers.

"I love you too, Miles," she says with tears streaming down her face.

Prowler settles on a roof near his house, takes off his gloves and wipes some of the blood off them, wipes the blood from his nose, takes out his phone and writes to his uncle.

"Hey, I'm here, ready?"

Miles puts his phone away and hugs his legs, he takes out a photo of Gwen and the one from his pocket, in which Gwen has an arm around Miles's neck while she kisses his cheek, he feels a few small tears come out of his eyes, along who shakes his head, wipes his tears and puts the photo away

"Oh dad, I really wish you were here," Miles says as he hangs his head

He hears the door to his building open and his uncle leave, so he gets up, but before he can put on his glove, he sees someone else leaving the building.

Miles looks at him confused, Aaron didn't mention anyone else, did he?
