Peter I just ripped off a door handle and a knob to the facet... I am incapable of doing either" Gwen calmly points out. "On top of that this isn't normal" Gwen releases her grip on both the knob and handle as neither object leaves her palms nor comes crashing to the ground.

All you hear from one Peter Parker is a silent "oh".

"Yeah... Oh. Pete, what's going on? Why is this happening? Why am I like you..."

"Well...' Peter nervously chuckles and quickly and quietly says 'we may have givenyouaserum thathasgivenyoumypowers. Apparently"

Gwen gives him the look, "Say that again Peter where I can understand what you just grumbled out".

Sheepishly Peter takes a breath, "Me and Tony came up with a serum to try and isolate my healing factor and give it to you. Now, there are a few miscalculations on our part but... we were running out of time Gwen"

Trying to come to grips that she now seems to be possessing powers similar to her superhero boyfriend and has nothing to say which Peter then continues.

"We would've been more thorough with the formula but Gwen you almost died. I could hear your heart growing fainter as I was swinging to the tower. The best case scenario from the doctor was you'd be paralyzed forever... the worst would've been you never would wake up. So, I'm Sorry Okay! I didn't want you to be put into this situation and if I could take it back I-oof"

Gwen realizes a little late that Peter is rambling and slowly spiraling into his guilt of changing her life rushes him and quite literally tackles him into a massive hug.

"Thanks for saving me, Pete. I always know you will. Also, umm sorry for you know tackling you to the ground... I guess we can count spider strength as a definite power" She looks away with a slight blush.

"It's all good Gwen your safe, better, and you don't even have a real scratch on you...Oh my god your dad is going to kill me..."

"What?! Why?"

"Well ya know since I've been sorta busy trying to get you back on your feet... I may have kinda sorta been dodging his calls for the last 24 or so hours. Give or take".

"Oh I should probably call to tell them I'm okay"

"Yes, that's a good idea. I'll give you some privacy". Peter goes to leave the room for Gwen.

Peter reappears and tosses his phone," You'll need this...heads up".

Gwen catches it swiftly from behind and looks down with the phone in hand, "Fast reflexes and a sixth sense, cool. I'll just be a minute".

Peter then exits the room as Gwen pushes in her Dad's phone number.

Ring...ring...

" Peter Parker I swear if you don't tell me where my little girl is I will bring so many..."

"Hey Dad"

"Gwen!! You're alright!? Where are you at now? We saw Spider-Man's web catch you and then he went swinging away...quite fast might I add".

"Well... right now I'm in the Stark Tower. Spidey must've thought this would be the best place to go since I was hurt. And I am o..."

"What do you mean you were hurt? I'll be right there... don't go anywhere just give me 20 minutes"

"Dad! I'm okay I swear you don't need to make a...(beep)' Gwen looks at the phone 'he did just hang up on me".

Peter walks in with Tony Stark to discuss the next steps in this newfound situation.

"So Gwen Stacy it's nice to finally see you up and moving about. You gave this one over here quite a scare"

"It's good to be up. But I guess I should be thanking you also with me being here. So for that thanks. Um... also, I may need you to let my father up here since he knows I'm here. It will be Capt. George Stacy"

"Ah yes, anything for the good Captain. Now onto bigger things what's the game plan for you Spiderling 2?"

"Um I don't know but we cannot tell my Dad any of this! He'd flip out and I very much don't need that in my life right now. I might just lay low and continue my normal life"

The next thing that's known is the door to Gwen's' room is flung open and standing there is George Stacy. As fast as he can/is comfortable with hugs Gwen.

"I'm glad your okay"

"I'm good dad look not even a scratch on me. I think you should look at the other guy he was much more worse for wear" Gwen attempts as a joke.

The room falls silent as they all look to Gwen with open jaws.

"What? Too soon?"

Tony finally breaks the silence with something between a grunt/chuckle "Yeah something like that kid"

They go about the morning/afternoon Captain Stacy badgering multiple questions and the state that his daughter was in which were for lack of a better term slightly forged. Her injuries are listed as a slight case of whiplash and minor internal bleeding. Little did Captain Stacy know that this would be the beginning of a whole new chapter for Gwen Stacy.

Upon the return home other than the constant badgering of her dad making sure she was alright it was mostly calm. And by calm meaning, she could hear every little honk, beep, and sound that came from the busy streets of New York. "I knew New York was loud but this is ridiculous," she thought "If this keeps up I'm most certainly going to have a migraine and I didn't even think enhanced people could get them!" Once Gwen is finally able to get into the safety of her room she closes the doors and tries to calm herself even with the sounds coming from outside her window until she hears a somewhat softer *knock* *knock* from her window. There he is sitting outside her window the absolute perfect person to help. As fast as she can she gets to her window opens it and allows Peter inside.

"Pete I need some serious help. Everything has become so loud. How do I stop it??" She whimpers.

"Okay let me see... the way I always looked at it as there's this dial for your hearing. What you're going to do is take that dial and crank it lower so right now you're probably feeling an 11. I want you to just picture the dial and slowly move it down a notch at a time until it hits a comfortable volume".

Gwen slowly tries her best to lower the dial as she fights through the pain and slowly the noise gets quieter until it's back to how it was. "Thanks, Pete that was surprisingly helpful!"

"Oh you know I'm just experienced like that" Peter thinks, "I cannot believe that it worked!"

"Peter...I heard that."

"Oh..." Peter goes to rub the back of his neck thinking, 'why did i say that out loud?'

"Well I'm happy to be of service but I just came to check in and Aunt May is probably freaking out since I never showed up last night and in the excitement, I may have forgotten to contact her so I'll see you tomorrow okay?"

"Yeah bye Pete" she slowly walks up to him and presses a quick kiss to his lips. "Thanks again... for everything."

With a warm smile Peter wraps her into a hug " you never have to thank me Gwen. I love you." He relinquishes the hug and makes way to the door to swing to his home but just before he jumps out the window he hears her say "I love you too". The smile never left his face the whole way back to Queens. He just hopes that Aunt May will have mercy on him.

A/N: I'm curious on what everyone thinks should he tell Aunt May or should he continue with the way he is?

As Gwen was making her way to bed with the city noises finally becoming bearable she goes into the kitchen to rummage for a snack before bed seeing her father getting ready to leave.

"Sorry kiddo, I've got to get back into the station to make a quick check on things I'll be back by morning before you head to school"

"It's okay I understand you have this power and your keeping yourself and everyone else accountable"

"Yeah. I'm sorry to be in a rush but I'm glad your back home. I love you so much"

"I know dad. Love you too. Be safe." she goes in to give her dad a hug slightly stronger than she usually would.

"Bye Gwen. Also you'll have to tell me when you started getting so strong" as he gives out a huff.

As he walks out of the apartment and Gwen is getting her cup of water and a protein bar from the cupboard she gets lost in her thoughts.

"That was way too close. I'm going to have to be more careful. What if I hurt someone...What if I end up destroying things."

She shakes herself off downing her glass of water and finishing the remains of the bar and makes it back to her bedroom. As she goes to laydown and close her eyes and thinks of what Tony called her 'Spiderling 2'. As she drifts off into dream world she can hear the thwip of web shooters and the rush of wind in her hair and somewhere in the screaming wind that she misses hearing is someone yelling "Ghost-Spider".
