“I just don’t want your dad to get mad at us,” Peter says. “Maybe we should just tell him the truth.” It’s not like Tony’s so protective you’re not allowed to date. He’s the ‘cool’ parent; Pepper’s the stricter one. Neither of you are sure about how he’ll react to finding out Peter is your boyfriend. Tony’s fine with you dating as long as the person isn’t going to endanger you. Peter’s life as Spider-Man isn’t the safest, and that’s the problem. He’s not the person Tony wants you with. he will be mad either way you know that You respond timidly “I know,” Peter says, his hands fidgeting. “But, you know, if we tell him… maybe it won’t be so bad. Maybe he’ll understand. Peter You say knowingly “I think he will, honestly. He may be surprised, even a little upset at first, but… he’ll get it. He’s not, like, unreasonable or anything.”

Trust me.” But he's my dad I know more than anyone you say looking into his eyes. “I know. But you have to trust me on this. He won’t break us up. And, either way, I’m not gonna let him. You’re the most important thing to me. I’m not giving you up.” You sigh ok but if he does I always will love you you say holding his hand. “He won’t,” Peter says, squeezing your hand. “I promise. I’ll make sure of it. But… I appreciate you saying that. And I will always love you too. No matter what happens.”

He looks at you with a smile, feeling a wave of love and affection wash over him. He squeezes your hand gently as he leads the way to the Stark mansion. As you approach the entrance, he laces your fingers in his. No matter what happens, you'll go through this together. You approach the door and ring the doorbell. After a few short moments, the door opens and Tony steps into the doorway, his expression serious but warm. You takes a deep breath, letting go of his hand, and stands next to him. “Okay, Dad, there’s something we need to tell you.” you say nervously. Tony looks at the both of you, a little surprised but not at all angry. “What’s up?” he asks, crossing his arms and leaning against the doorframe. “Something wrong?” “Um…” Peter stalls, suddenly feeling shy and uncertain. Then, he takes a deep breath and just comes out with it. “Y/N and I are dating.”Tony’s expression softens, and he raises an eyebrow. “You two are dating?”
You nod feeling nervous about how you father will react. Tony doesn’t seem as upset or angry as you expected. Instead, he just stares at the both of you for a moment, chewing on the inside of his cheek. “How long have you two been dating?” “Um…” Peter pauses, thinking back for a second. “A few months now.” “A few months,” Tony murmurs, seeming to be processing this new information. “So… I guess it’s serious?” “It is,” Peter says, taking your hand and squeezing it. He leans up and kisses you on the cheek, trying to communicate to Tony that you’re happy together. “It’s very serious. And this isn’t just a fleeting teenage crush or anything.” You blush lightly as soon as you feel peters lips on your cheek. Tony glances at your blush, noticing the subtle way your cheeks have turned pink. He doesn’t seem to mind, but he doesn’t comment on it either. Instead, he focuses his attention back on Peter. “So… you’re serious about her, and you’ve been dating for a few months. What am I just finding out about this now?”
“Well…” Peter says, hesimating for a moment. “We kind of wanted to wait until we knew for sure this wasn’t just a temporary crush. If we told you when we first started dating and it turned out to be just a temporary thing, it would’ve been awkward. But… this isn’t temporary, and we’re really serious, so we thought we could finally tell you.” Tony is silent for a moment, but it’s not an uncomfortable silence at all. He looks at you both, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips. “Well… I’m glad you finally told me. And… I’m glad you found someone who makes you happy.” You smile at your dad's reaction towards all of this who knows this could be your future. It’s all you could’ve hoped for. Tony doesn’t seem furious or protective. Instead, he seems genuinely happy for you. He smiles softly, but his expression changes as he speaks again. “But Peter… I need you to promise me something.” Your heart skips a beat as you hear those words. Uh oh… was this all just a ruse? Is he going to tear you two apart when you thought you made it through the worst part? “Yes, Tony,” Peter says, his voice a little strained, “anything.”
Tony’s eyes are locked on Peter now, and his expression is serious. “Don’t break her heart, okay? If you two are going to date, you need to take care of her. Protect her. Appreciate her. You need to treat her like she’s the most precious thing in the entire world, because she is. Do you understand?” “I understand,” Peter replies, his voice shaky but firm. “You don’t need to worry about that, because I promise you, I’m going to treat her like the most precious thing in the entire world, because she is.” Tony nods, his expression softening. “Good. And one more thing,” he says, leaning forward a little bit. The atmosphere shifts from anticipation to nerves as you and Peter wait for him to continue. Tony leans in closer, his voice lower now as he says “Promise me you’ll stay safe too. I know you’re Spider-Man, and I know how much good you do, but I don’t want anything to happen to you. So just promise me you’ll be careful. Okay?” Peter nods, his throat going a little dry as he realizes just how much Tony cares about him. “I promise,” he says. “I promise to stay safe, and I promise to be careful. And I promise to be the best boyfriend I can be for her.”
