"Park Jimin !"

Jimin turned towards the direction of voice and looked at the owner. He frowned as the person approached him with a angry expression yet he could see lingering concern. 

"Ya ! Jimin-ah ! Where were you these past week ? I searched for you for the whole day. Not to mention your call being not connected and no replies on the texts and then I receive a text that you are going to Busan and your father's ill. And then you show up after a week. And what is that ring on your ring finger ? Are you perhaps married without my knowledge ? Who is it ?"

He could feel panic raising but he took a deep breathe and looked at his best friend, giving him his usual charming eye smile.

"Why are you smiling now ? Are you okay ? Wait. You answer my questions first. "

"Tae, my father was indeed not well and he... "

Jimin couldn't find words to fabricate his situation to his best friend but he had to. Was his husband ashamed of him that their relationship was meant to be a secret or was that he was gay and the lawyer was straight ?

Taehyung found his soulmate losing himself in thought as he trailed off from whatever he was about to say. He knew for sure that something has indeed happened for his friend to loose himself. He looked at Jimin's ring finger. The diamond shined just like his best friend. 

"Jiminie hyung"

He saw the boy running to Jimin who he recognised as Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook. 

Jimin suddenly startled at the voice and saw his cousin-in-law running towards him.

" Hyung, I was searching for you. Please inform when class is done. We are leaving together. " Jimin brushed Jungkook's fringes and nodded smiling. He got a display of the bunny teeth and a nod and then he saw how the young man took off. 

Taehyung who was watching the whole interaction, pulled Jimin and held him by shoulders, " How do you know Jeon Jungkook ?"

"I just know him- " 

"Are you guys living together ?"

Jimin held Taehyung's waist, "you will let me explain everything, will you ?"

And he exhaled in relief when he got a nod.

" You can't just get engaged to someone you just met !"

"Wait, it is 'you can't marry the person you just met !' "

Suengcheol spoke before he slurped the noodles.

Jisoo held back Jeonghan who was almost throwing hands at his boyfriend. She looked at Jimin whose head was hanging low and then looked at Taehyung who was unusually quiet. Then she looked at the bickering couple and Joshua who was texting aggressively. 

"What's app, people ? Why so gloomy ?"

Nayeon kissed Jisoo on cheek as she greeted others on the table. 

"Jimin is engaged during his disappearance to Busan-"

"Daegu."

Jinyoung looked Taehyung who interrupted him and found the latter looking at Jimin with unreadable expression. Jimin shrunk more int his seat. 

"Great news !" Nayeon said cheerful.

Jeonghan sighed, "Yeonnie, he is engaged. That to someone who is not Atterony Min Yoongi."

"And he is not saying who that is. Even to Tae." Joshua spoke not looking up from the phone.

"Top 10 anime betrayal."

Jimin tried to keep his tears at bay and he said, "I did not betray you guys. It's- "

"It's what ?" Taehyung asked abruptly making Jimin look at him with glassy eyes. 

"Jiminnie-"

"No, Shua, I am not listening when he can't trust me anymore." Taehyung stood up interrupted Joshua.

He looked at Jimin for the last time before storming off from the table. Joshua and Suengcheol looked at each other, nooded and left the table to chase Taehyung. 

Jisoo saw their group falling apart. She couldn't blame anyone here but knew the misunderstanding would break all of them apart, she didn't want it. She held Jimin's wrist and singled Jeonghan to follow them. 

Nayeon saw her girlfriend dragging two of her best friends and looked the only left male to explain who sighed before talking.
