Summary
Peter never liked wearing suits. He thought that they are stifling and too uncomfortable. He was surrounded by superheroes, famous people and many people he didn't know. In any other situation Peter would have been very excited.
Note
It's my first fanfiction and English is not my first language. I'm sorry if I did mistake. Anyways have fun while reading it!! (it's not a funny fic tbh)

Five years, literally five years, Peter had been dead for five years. He still didn't realize what was happening. He was so confused. All he wanted now was to find the man who had been his "mentor". Or any familiar face.

"Hey! Holly cow" A look of happiness spread across Peter's face when he saw Tony. His familiarity gave Peter a sense of security. "You will not believe what's been going on. Do you remember when we were in space? And I got all dusty? And I must've passed out because I woke up and you were gone. But Doctor Strange was there right. And he said 'It's been five years. Come on, they need us.' And he started doing the yellow sparkly thing that he does. Anyway..." Peter spoke quickly, trying to put into words what he was feeling. He missed Tony. Five years felt like five minutes, but still a sense of longing filled him. Then something happened that Peter didn't expect. But in a good way. All his fears and bad thoughts disappeared when he felt Tony's protective arms around him. The feeling of longing was replaced by a feeling of happiness and trust.

"Mr. Stark. Hey, Mr. Stark?" His voice cracked as he spoke. He could hear the heartbeat of his only remaining father figure - and there were no other father figures - slowing. Sometimes Peter wished he didn't have enhanced senses. Most of the time. "Can you hear me? It's Peter. Hey... we won. Mr. Stark. We won, Mr. Stark. We won, you did it, sir, you did it." He was trying to hold back his sobs. All Peter wanted was to feel Tony's warm arms around him again. But he didn't. "I'm sorry, Tony."

Peter never liked wearing suits. He thought that they are stifling and too uncomfortable. He was surrounded by superheroes, famous people and many people he didn't know. In any other situation Peter would have been very excited. But right now all he felt was an emptiness in his heart. Peter saw Mrs. Potts (who is a Stark now) drop Tony's Arc ractor, Tony's heart, into the stream of water "Proof that Tony Stark has a heart." It was funny when you think about it. That the heart of such a big man was just a piece of technology. Peter looked around one last time. He studied everyone's faces. From Tony's daughter to the boy a few years older than him standing a few feet away from everyone.

Peter couldn't bear to stay here. He wanted to get away, to get lost. When everyone started to leave, Peter found an empty bench and sat down. He let the tears flow. "Hey, kid"  Kid? That was the last nickname he wanted to hear right now. He looked up and saw the owner of the weak voice. Happy. The words wouldn't come out. He couldn't speak. All he could do was cry louder. Peter had lost Tony forever.
