Sabretooth has a interesting idea
Sabretooth was pacing excitedly, he was finally going to rid the world of runt, Wolverine will truly suffer. The only problem he’d been having was finding a way to get past Logan’s healing factor. Though with Kid omegas head he doubted he’d have any trouble for much longer, sabertooth was estatic. It had seemed that his clones and alternate versions of himself were beginning to doubt him, since he was so close to his ultimate goal he refused to give up and barely cared what they thought anyway. Sabretooth was in his room, turning to Kid omegas head, kept in what can best be described as a metal box that looked like a kid made it for fun.
“Kid omega, who does Wolverine have anyone he admires? Anyone who he thinks the world truly needs?”, Sabretooth felt above smug, the nasty machines those scientists had been using to use mutant powers might be terrible but quite useful.
“Wolverine admires several people, one of the people Logan admires the most would be spiderman, who’s identity is in fact Peter Parker.”, Kid omegas head said without any emotion.
“Fucking Spiderman? That guy? Why the hell does the runt respect that guy?”, Sabretooth stopped mid pace looking at Omegas head quizzically.
“The reason that Logan respects Spiderman so much is not only that Spiderman truly believes that Logan is a good person, he is also able to put up with Deadpool and even keeps Deadpool under control to a degree. Logan also know that Spiderman suffers to a high degree, even giving up what could be his life for the people of New York which Logan really respects.”
The retort wasn’t something that Sabretooth was expecting, but he could certainly use this to his advantage.
“You think I could use this? I can use Spiderman, well what was his name? Yeah, Peter parker. What kind of name is that?”, Sabretooth slyly mentioned, “What’s the guy even look like? Can you make a projection of him?”
“Of course I can.”, Kid omega took a second to reply.
Then showed a projection of two figures, or rather the same figure two time with different appearances. On the left was a projection of the spiderman he knew, one with a costume. The second showed a young man with fluffy brown hair, deep doe brown eyes, soft lean skin, face sprinkled with freckles. He stood in a large sweater and tight jeans, worn shoes, old glasses covered his face. Sabretooth was astonished, there was no way spiderman was this weak looking kid. THIS WAS SPIDERMAN? Some puny, noodle armed runt? This wasn’t possible Sabretooth had heard of Spiderman getting hit with a train then proceeding to get back up and stop it with his bare hands, and it was all this kid?
“Well can you show what the guys doing now? Might be useful.” Sabretooth mused with annoyance.
Kid omega paused for a moment, before showing a new projection. It was a scene of spiderman overlooking the city on the edge of a building, surveying the landscape. Out from behind spiderman bounded Deadpool.
Deadpool moved silently as to not disturb spiderman, coming up next to the web-slinging menace.
“Heyyy baby boy! How’s my favorite webster doing? Can’t I join you on patrol, you know I’m willing to be any sort of good guy as long as I get to see that spandex clad behind, honestly they should do a study on how tight it hugs you!”
“Wade we’re on patrol knock the harassment down please.”
“OH but baby boy you hit all the right kinks of mine! How could I do that?”
Spiderman visibility rolled his eyes at that, Sabretooth wasn’t completely sure how the hell his and Deadpool masks were so damn expressive. Snapping back to attention Sabretooth studied the duo closely in a way comparable to a predator assessing its next meal. Then out of nowhere Deadpool jumped onto Spider-Man’s back, the spider barely moved having quickly adjusted in an instant.
“Can we do piggy back rides tonight? I’ll take any chance to get your ass against my front, makes me feel real tingly webs, Pleassseeee?”, Deadpool dragged out.
“Maybe Wade, be quite though I’m trying to listen for crime, your not even trying to whisper or anything too, at this rate the criminals will flea before I even have the chance to get there-“
Deadpool acting displeased began to harshly pay Spiderman on his head similar to a drum.
Deadpool seemed a bit displeased with such an answer but quickly recovered. Spider-Man’s head snapped to the side, with a slight head tilt similar to a wary animal listening for danger.
“Heads up pool, there a robbery over by 47th, hold on tight-“, with that the hero lept into the air, Deadpool clinging onto spiderman as he began to swing off.
Sabretooth watched as the projection of the spider themed hero swung with experience and ease, assessing what to do.
Victor needed to figure out a plan, since Logan was out playing guard dog for the X-men, it left spiderman pretty out in the open. Though he still needed to figure out what was up with spiderman and Deadpool, he could just tear wade to small piece, it would take him a minute to heal, and when that’s happening he could retrieve spiderman. Sabretooth mentality decided he’d give that Parker punk the honor of getting snatched by him personally.
Perhaps he could find something in that accursed lab to help him get it done more quickly. Victor quickly exited the room taking the quickest route to the lab of mutant based technology.
When he finally entered the lab he found many devices that looked odd or not very optimal one that drew his attention was in The back corner, a machine that seemed different from the rest. Rather close to it he found a design for the machine in question. It showed how this machine showed the future, not just any future the future of any person he specified, he felt giddy at this, he supposed how this would help him with his plans.
Turning on the machine, he had to enter a chamber that would show a simulation of the future. As it powered up Victor felt that it might explode, but seeing as he had a hearing factor it didn’t matter to him.
After a few minutes and a steady hum from the machine, nothing visibly happened, he guessed that perhaps those scientists never got the right mutant for the job or it was the wrong mutant.
Stepping out, he realized he was in New York City now, which was odd, maybe the machine did work and he had done it wrong. Looking around he quickly spotted a newspaper stand, he wanted to see how far in the future this stimulation was.
Coming up upon the news he realized that the paper had the date of Logan’s birthday, what surprised him was that it was an entire year after gathering his variants.
