The big move
It took maybe a week more before the brotherhood had enough. It was lance who had enough first and while he was packing everyone saw and asked where he was going. “ I’m going to the institute. Kitty said the professor would let me in if I asked and I’m done with this stupid place, I’m hungry, the power just shut off and the water isn’t warm cause mystique freaked out and fucked up the the pipes under the house.” Pietro sped off and was back in seconds with everyone else’s stuff “ don’t worry I got everyone handled. Except for toads jacket, sorry I just can’t figure out where you put it.” Toad shrugs “ me neither but as soon as I get out of here the better.”
No one else was home at the time they left so nothing really stopped them. The ride over was mostly silent. Lances jeep had some car trouble half way there but other than that they got there pretty quick.
Lance was right the professor was cool with them being there. Kitty jumped for joy and Scott made a bunch of faces then walked off. Pietro didn’t really care he zipped away to find Evan. He found him outside with his aunt. As he approached he thought ‘ alright, not exactly how I wanted to meet his aunt but that’s fine it’s gonna be ok.” Then Evan jumped up and turned around, he looked happy and his aunt did the same but she looked confused. Evan stared at Pietro and waved him over.
Can you blame him for being excited, he raced over and tackled Evan to the ground and kissed him. His aunt said something but he wasn’t paying attention.
This was perfect. This was everything.
