Rtc Nischa/Perfectdolls/Spacedolls one shots!!! [On permanent hiatus]

This has to go perfect! Ricky has been planning this day for months, he can't mess it up now. Today is the day he's going to ask Penny out. He's liked her for a ridiculously long time and it's time her deserves to know whether she likes him back or not. 

He didn't really realize what he was doing until he heard his doorbell ring at 5pm on the dot, exactly when he asked her to come. Perfect, as usual. 

"Hi" Penny signed to Ricky when he opened the door. 

Ricky nodded as a way of saying hello before leading her to his room and closing the door behind them. 

Penny sat on the bed as Ricky opened up his laptop and found the movie they were going to watch. Guardians of the galaxy three is what he decided on. 

"This made me cry" Ricky laughs as he rests his crutches on the floor and sits next to Penny. 

"Oh come on don't make me cry! You know I'm an ugly crier!" Penny laughs back. 

"Oh please we both know it's physically incapable for you to look ugly" Ricky signed as he had a slight blush go across his cheeks. 

"Shush!" Penny smiled as a very obvious blush plastered across her face, resting her hand on Ricky's knee. 

The smaller boy just tried to ignore her hand and watch the movie. He turned away at the parts he knew he would cry at, so that would cause Penny to turn around too. Although, at some points, they were both crying. 

"He's just a raccoon he doesn't deserve that" Penny sobbed quietly into Ricky's shoulder. As much as Ricky likes Penny, he can admit that he can't comfort for shit, so her crying was met with just an awkward pat on the back as she had her arms wrapped around his shoulders. She appreciated the gesture apparently, as she didn't move her hands from around his shoulders. 

By the end of the movie, they were sobbing. Like a lot. What can I say? It's a sad movie.

Penny had her head on Ricky's shoulder as she cried, Ricky (having seen the movie possibly millions of times before) was crying even more than her as the credits rolled and he held Penny close. They were sobbing into each other's arms. 

Ricky pulled back and smiled slightly, wiping Penny's tears. 

"Don't cry, it will ruin your makeup" Ricky signed as Penny had mascara streaming down her cheeks. 

"Sorry" Penny laughed, suddenly realising the closeness between them, and how she was Holding Ricky's cheek in one hand and how she was holding his hand in her other. 

"I think you need to know why I invited you over" Ricky signed, getting slightly nervous now as a slight blush appeared across his tear-ridden face. 

"Oh?" Penny asked as she raised an eyebrow, her pale, porcelain cheeks turning slightly red. 

"Basically... So you know how we're like best friends and we'll always be friends no matter what?" He started, beating around the bush slightly. 

"Yeah? Come on Ricky, you're scaring me" Penny said through laughs as she wiped her tesrs.

"So... I like you." He started signing again before Penny could respond.

"I like you so much. I love you so much. Your voice, how soft your hugs are, your compassion, how you seem to not care what anyone thinks of you, how you'll do anything to protect your friends, how you're not afraid to cry in front of us and how I feel comfortable enough to be myself around you, how you love my drawings. I love you so much and I kinda hope you would like me back. And it's totally ok if you don't-"

He was cut off by Penny taking his hands and pushing her lips onto his. Ricky could feel her smile into it as his cheeks went warm. His eyes widened before they closed and he leaned into the kiss. 

It felt as though they were being flung through the infinite depths of space, the stars and planets surround them. Nebulas fill their eyes along with galaxies, yet the only thing they seem to feel is their lips softly connected and the butterflies flowing their way through their bloodstreams. 

The kiss lasted ten seconds max, yet it lasted a lifetime on Ricky's lips. 

"Holy shit" he signed whilst laughed and covering his bright red face. 

"I was gonna confess to you eventually... But I just chickened out, I guess thank you for doing it first?" Penny smiled, also bright pink. 

The best moment of either of their lives. By a long shot.
