A HAPPY PERFECTDOLLS WEDDING!!!

This was the best dream of Ocean's life. She was in a field, just her and Penny. Living their best lives. Until Penny started repeating her name? And it got louder?

Ocean? Ocean? Ocean? Ocean?! Ocean?! Ocean!

---

OCEAN!

a loud, familiar voice woke her up. She couldn't understand until she looked at the time...

SHIT

It was 10:30, she had slept in! Now she only has an hour to get ready for what is supposed to be the best day of her life! Of course, the one day she doesn't wake up on time, is her wedding day. Thank goodness she was prepared for such a situation, but still, it would be nicer to be on time!

She quickly shot out of bed. Constance was at the door, banging on her door. Makeup bag in hand. Mischa was next to her, Ocean was 99% sure he was still half asleep, but she can't blame him. Ricky was on the other side of Constance, sitting in his wheelchair, some hair stuff on his lap, he seemed to have also been banging on the door.

"Jesus Christ Oce! The one day you need to not be late and you're late!" Constance said, walking into the room quickly, resting her makeup bag on desk, resting a mirror on it, one of those fancy ones with lights attached.

"I thought you were dead" Mischa says, slightly out of breath, as he enters the room. Holding Oceans dress and Ricky's crutches at the same time.

"My alarm didn't go off! I guess my phone went off charge in the night!" Ocean defended as she quickly took her hair out of the heat-less curlers she left them in the previous night.

"Whatever! We'll just have to work fast" Ricky signs, before placing down the hair stuff on the desk.

Mischa slowly lays the dress down on the bed, before holding out Ricky's crutches for him to take, helping Ricky stand up.

"Why are you even here, aren't you in Penny's wedding party?' Ocean asked confused, not daring to move as Constance aggressively does her hair.

"She wanted us to help Constance, and Noel asked Noel asked Mischa to sneak looks at you for him because he cannot resist saying no to his fiance" Ricky signs, to which Mischa jokingly hits him in the arm.

"What! Is cute face! How could I say no!" He laughs, before leaving the room with Ricky, taking his wheelchair behind him and closing the door.

"Ocean I love you but why did you have to straighten your hair so much in high school? Bc now I need to add extensions so I can actually do your hair" Constance laughed.

- with Penny -

"So?" Penny asked, putting her earings in as Mischa and Ricky entered the room, asking how Ocean was.

"She's awake now, alarm didn't go off" Mischa clarified.

"And? How did she look?" Noel asked excitedly, already dressed up in his tux.

"As if we would tell you!" Ricky's AAC device blared through the room, making Mischa laugh.

"Oh please! I also want it to be a surprise!" Penny said, standing up and going to put her dress on in the bathroom as everyone else sat on the beds. Noel was already dressed, Mischa was practically dressed apart from a tie and Ricky was just putting his final touches on now.

"Ok, you ready?" Penny asked from the bathroom. Looking and admiring herself in the mirror as she smoothed out her dress in the mirror. She looked at herself with admiration. She didn't go all out with her makeup, and her hair was neatly in a bun, yet, she still looked amazing. And she better look amazing, this is literally her wedding.

"Yeah come show us!" Noel shouts, his voice higher with excitement.

Penny stepped out and revealed her dress. Noel immediately stood up and hugged Penny lightly, as if he hasn't seen her in it a million times. Mischa smiled wide and hugged her as well, before Ricky stood up and joined the hug.

"Don't make me cry! I just got this makeup done!" Penny laughs, wiping her eyes and not daring to let the rest of her tears fall.

"Sorry" Mischa laughed. Going back to sitting on the bed. Well, not for long before Penny got the call that the driver was outside. She carefully made her way to the car and sat down. Nerves starting to settle in.

Not bad nerves! Its not as if she was having second thoughts! She would never! But, it's still her wedding. She's allowed to be nervous. What if Ocean decided to not show up? What if one of the guests turn up shitfaced and ruins the whole ceremony? What if she tears her dress? What if someone didn't show up? What if- actually. No. She shouldn't be negative. This is HER wedding. And hopefully her only wedding. She was not going to ruin it with some stupid, fake thoughts.

Penny sat in the car, holding her bouquet, trying to make conversation with everyone else there, trying to get rid of the nerves. And it worked! They arrived there silently as they went through a different entrance as to not be seen by guests.

She arrived in her separate room. Realizing in the next hour. She'll officially be married to the love of her life. She can't help but smile.

- with Ocean -

Ocean was happily getting ready. She didn't have many people in her wedding party. Her and Penny didn't want 'bridesmaids' and 'best men' so they just pulled a handful of people (mainly the choir but still) to be there for both of them as 'the bridespeople' to keep it easy.

Ocean sat doing her makeup as Constance intricately got her hair ready. The room was silent. Not an awkward silence, they were both enjoying it.

Eventually, both hair and makeup were ready and it was time for Ocean to put her dress on.

Constance was already ready. She sat on the bed, awaiting her childhood best friend to come out in her wedding dress. They really had been through everything together huh? Constance's leg bounced up and down slightly. Remembering every moment from their childhood.

Movie nights when the movies slowly shifted from Disney movies to romantic comedies and horrors as they grew older.

When Ocean first came out to her in 7th grade. They cried in each other's arms for a long time that day. Especially when Constance came out at the exact same time as well.

When they would plan their weddings in elementary school, Ocean being disgusted when the teacher asked her why she was making up a wife and not a husband.

"Are you ready?" Ocean shouted from the bathroom, cutting off Constance's train of thought.

"More than I will be for anything ever" Constance said, Ocean could practically hear her smile through the door.

Ocean stepped out slowly. She wasn't wearing anything fancy. Yet, it was so Ocean. Nothing could suit her more.

It took everything in Constance not to cry as she wrapped her arms around her. Her childhood best friend was getting married. Who wouldn't cry?

"I'm so proud of you" she whispered into Ocean's ear, planting a kiss on her cheek before pulling away.

Ocean then got a call. The car was here. This was it! In the next hour she will officially be Ocean Lamb! Isn't that crazy?!

Her and Constance sat in the car. She wondered. Will her parents show up? I mean, she invited them, but they stopped giving a shit about her when she was seven! It's not exactly expected of them to show up. Still, she's ready to have her dad walk her down the aisle.

She wasn't having any negative thoughts about the wedding itself. She can't believe this is happening! Finally! The day she met Penny, she knew she would keep her in her life forever. She didn't know how at the time, yet it was becoming insanely obvious right now. She was going to marry her. Isn't that crazy?!

"Connie?" Ocean started

"Yeah?" Constance asked, giving Ocean a soft smile

"Do you think my parents will show up? " Ocean asked slowly, looking at the floor of the car.

"I'm going to be honest Oce; I'm not sure. There is a part of me that thinks they might care enough about their daughter to come to her wedding, yet, they haven't payed much attention to you since you were seven. Yet, still have hope Ocean. Because there's never a zero possibility for anything" Constance comforted, giving Ocean a warm smile before giving her a hug.

Soon enough, they arrived where Ocean was getting married. This is it.

Constance helped her sneak around the back so the guests wouldn't see her. She sat down in her room. Waiting any moment for the ceremony to start.

Eventually, it did. Ezra was trusted in the hands of flower boy. He didn't do much, apart from bring out some random hand puppets, where he kept a straight face the whole time he just blankly threw flower petals onto the floor, if course, all the other guests finding it hilarious.

Then, he walked back down the aisle to grab his sister and walk her down the aisle. He never showed anything on his face, but Penny knew he was happy for her. The only thing he did do was whisper in her ear "Kinda gay" the minute she reached the top of the aisle, making her hide her laugh.

Then, Mischa, Constance, Noel and Ricky walked down the aisle. Mischa at the front of the line, smiling like an idiot at Penny, whereas Ricky was at the back, in his wheelchair, signing stuff to Penny, again, making her need to hide her laugh.

Eventually, they got to the top of the aisle and Ricky was given his crutches to stand with the rest of the group.

Then the music started for Ocean to walk down the aisle. And she wasn't there? Everyone looked at each other in confusion. Was she not doing it? Was she standing Penny up?

Penny looked at the people behind her with a panicked look in her eyes. Where was Ocean?

"I'll- I'll go look for her" Noel said, speed walking down the aisle to find Ocean. Shaking his head until he got to her room and banged on the door.

Ocean opened the door slowly, clearly upset.

"Oce? What happened?" Noel asked, his voice full of concern, pulling her in for a hug.

"They aren't coming. My parents. They aren't here" Ocean said quietly. Her parents truly didn't care about her. Her dad wasn't going to walk her down the aisle. Her mom wasn't going to see her little girl get married. They weren't there.

"Oh Ocean" Noel sighed, pulling back and leaving his hands on her shoulders.

"And now I'll never have my dad walk me down the aisle. I don't know what I'm going to do" Ocean said, not breaking eye contact with her childhood best friend.

"Come on. You're getting married" Noel smiled, reaching out his hand for Ocean to take. To which she accepted with a smile. They walked down the hallway before they were at the top of the aisle again.

Noel signalled for the music to start as all the guests breathed a sigh of relief and stood up. Penny smiled wide. Watching her soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle. Arm in arm with Noel.

"I'm proud of you" Noel whispered as they were walking. To which Ocean had to try not to cry. This was really happening, and she's loving every second of it.

They made it to the top of the aisle and the ceremony finally started. The two women just stared in awe at each other's dresses. They both looked gorgeous. And they knew that.

Considering the little amount of people at the wedding, Ezra was also (unfortunately) the one officiating the wedding.

"Sit down." He said blankly to the guests.

Penny and Ocean hid their smiles. This really wasn't the greatest idea was it?

"These two women have been absolutely sickeningly in love for the last seven years. Possibly the worst of my life. Yet, I am still happy for them. If you couldn't tell" his facial expression doesn't change in the slightest, nor does his voice. Yet everyone can tell he means it.

"As much as I want to go on about how Penny maimed a man and that is partway how she met her wife, I shall digress. You may now take out your vows and start ugly crying" he said, everyone smiling in slight concern at the first sentence, yet they'll ignore that. For now.

Penny pulled out the sheet of paper she had. Ready to pour her heart out to her favorite person in the world right in front of her.

"How do I start, Jesus" Penny laughed.

"When we first met in Elysium; I knew you would stay in my life no matter what. Even when you left with your parents to move to Uranium, I knew I'd find you eventually. It's as if we had this string tied between us, pulling us closer whenever one left.

When I saw you on the first day at St Cassians, I knew it was you. Sure, you had grown up, but there was something about that red hair and neatly applied uniform that made me fall head over heels for you in some sort of way.

That night when we kissed; I don't think I'll ever forget it. I won't forget that glint in your eye. I won't forget the blush on your face. I won't forget the joy in your smile. I won't forget a single second of it.

The night I proposed; I don't think I could forget that either. The nerves and joy mixing together the moment you said yes is a feeling I wish to bask in day and night. I'm more than happy to call you my fiance, and I'm more than excited, to call you my wife" Penny finished. Smiling wide, a tear falling down her cheek.

Ricky was standing behind them, probably smiling the widest. Constance was crying, Noel was almost crying and Mischa, well, he had this face that was a mix between a smile and a sob. Rather hard to tell. Ezra didn't change his facial expression, but his overall demeanor changed, so Penny will take it as him being happy.

"How am I meant to come back from that oh my gosh!" Ocean said, wiping a tear and laughing.

"Penny. When I first lost you as a child. I was determined to find you. No matter how long it would take.

The day you were sat next to me in that class, I think I'll always find funny. That was the first time I ever got told off in class, simply because we were laughing too much. I didn't even feel bad about it.

Then, you joined the choir. We spent most nights working together, then, one night...

That one night we were hanging out at mine. The rain just not being there any more, when the blush on both of our faces told stories. Then I leaned in. And I think that is the best thing I have done, or will ever do.

When you proposed to me, I already knew the answer. I knew I was going to say yes. I knew I would spend every last minute of my life with you. I knew you will always be there for me. I knew saying yes was the right decision.

You've been here for everything. Thank you, and, please never forget: I love you." Ocean smiled, squeezing Penny's hand.

Ok so Constance was still crying, Noel now was crying at this point, Ricky was wiping a slight tear from his eye. Mischa was still (barely) not crying! Sure, was he squeezing Noel's hand so tight it lost circulation? Yes! Did that matter? Absolutely not.

"Now, is there any reason these two women should not get married?" Ezra asked, to which no one objected.

"Well. As I was given the power here. You are now wife and wife. Kiss each other" Ezra says quickly.

Ocean and Penny leaned in, sharing a tender kiss. Ocean rested her hands on her fiance- no WIFE'S neck, whereas Penny rested hers on Ocean's waist. They stayed like that for a good 15 seconds, soaking it all in.

Their friends cheering, Mischa finally cracking as he cried for possibly the first time in years, Ezra ACTUALLY showing a slight smile on his face. Watching his sister get married.

They were married.

Ocean & Penny Lamb.

Happily married, till death does them part.
